I grew up on a farm. No kidding. I did...complete with cattle, chickens, a passel of kids, and rows of vegetables. So, when I wasn't dodging siblings, feeding animals, or pulling weeds, I was hiding away in my bedroom with a book.

With maturity came love and marriage, and a real understanding of why my parents kept their bedroom door locked. *wink*
Now, I've turned a love of books into a sensual journey through the steamy world of erotic romance. Or is that romantic erotica? Well, one thing's for certain, the heroes and heroines have a great time as they fall in love.

As I live my dream by bringing the characters in my mind to life on the printed page, I want to thank my wonderful husband for his inspiration, support and patience, but most of all for letting me hog the computer!

A very readable novel, published about five years ago, by two authors who have an extensive portfolio of erotic writings and whose writing style just keeps on getting better and better. The story is built upon a chance meeting by an international business magnate and the CEO of a production company in Madrid--he was there because of business expansion efforts, and she was there to surprise her fiancee and in the hopes that they could have a bit of pre-wedding togetherness. Unfortunately, Olivia was the one who was surprised when she discovered her soon-to-be husband having a very nice time with his mistress--a woman she didn't even know about. Declaring her to be the "icy bitch" everyone said she was, her fiancee made no apologies and Olivia found herself on a park bench crying her eyes out. Along comes Dylan Montgomery, offering his silk hankerchief, and some comfort that developed into a night of passion spent together--after which Olivia disappears for two years. This is a story that is rooted in the Dom/sub lifestyle as practiced by Dylan and Ryan Montgomery, identical twins who have been searching for Olivia for two years. They don't want a renewal of the chance encounter or the one-night-stand. They want forever. They also know that Olivia is a woman who has built so many walls around herself that she really doesn't know her own nature nor is she willing to open herself up to these two men who love her already. There isn't a lot of hardcore BDSM stuff here, mostly the obedience and relinquishing of Olivia's will so that she will be open to accepting the care, protection and love that these two men want to give her. It is really about dealing with the protection mechanisms so many people choose in order to keep themselves distanced from the deeper emotions in order to keep from repeated hurt. In the end, Olivia will have to choose the love of these two brothers over her career and a life that is pretty much lived alone. A very insightful story and one that is an emotional roller coaster and full of surprising twists.

A very intricate story, Olivia Chandler catches her fiancee in a compromising position only to have the bulk of the blame focused on her and her controlling ways. Devastated by the blow she finds herself seeking comfort with a stranger whose kindness towards her ignites a curiousity she has never uncovered.

Two years later Dylan Montgomery is still searching for the woman he only knows as Olivia. When his twin brother Ryan mistakingly spends one night with the her not realizing who she is, they both come up with a plan to make her theirs, but will Olivia be able to fully submit to them?

I gave this a 3.99 almost a 4, but there were certain aspects of the story I had a hard time grasping. You know Dylan and Ryan want her and only her, but some of the tactics used to get her to trust them I found hard to identify with. I think if they had come off as a little less intelligent it would have flowed but you never saw the vulnerability in Dylan who basically sets the tone. I liked it, would read the next one in the Incognito series to see what happens.

**Reread, the one aspect about this that could have elevated this story is that Dylan the primary Dom who is supposed to be the one she should trust, doesn't really trust her. He is afraid she is going to bolt again, but the circumstances are so vastly different I had a hard time wrapping my head around his train of thought.

Oh my this was a book that brought about all kinds of naughty taboo images for me. Yes...ladies who enjoy a little BDSM lite...this is a go F*ck your husbands book!

I was a little taken aback when we are into a HOT scene within the first 5% of the book, but after two incredibly hot, steamy, pull my hair and tell me I like it sex scenes, we are teased and titilated and brought into a startling relationship between control-freak Olivia and brothers (twin brothers...oh yes) Dylan and Ryan who want to become her Masters.

Olivia is new to the BDSM lifestyle and these handsome men are all too happy to wisk her away for two weeks and teach her the ropes....literally.

When I first got into this book I was expecting...well porn. With sex so to the forefront, I thought we would get some wham bam scenes and be done with it...but I felt like I got to know the characters, and I started darn near yelling at my kindle for them all to just frickin get over themselves and be together. Because in the end we all knew that there was no other way for them to be.

This book really surprised me. I will be looking for more.

It isn't often that a novella takes me 3 days to read. This one did.

We start out with Olivia travelling to Spain to surprise her fiance. Olivia get's the surprise when she finds her fiance about to get into the shower with another woman. She meets Dylan Montgomery (a Spaniard???) in a park where she is crying her eyes out. Dylan seduces her into his bed and uses a little bit of domination which Olivia finds she loves. Olivia flees in the middle of the night after a couple of rounds of hot sex.

Flash forward two years. Dylan is still looking for Olivia and Olivia hasn't found another man who takes her to the same heights that Dylan does. She finds out that Dylan will be in her town and finds a way to climb into his bed while he is away from his room.

Anyway...I am just not sure why, but I never connected with the characters. The author never really showed anything it was all tell...The conflict wasn't really there. Bottom line, I just didn't love it.

Olivia can't forget the one incredible night spent with a man she had just met, nor can she forgive herself for sneaking away in the morning because of her own insecurities and need for control.

Dylan has searched for two years for the incredibly sensual woman he met, comforted then seduced only to find her gone the next morning and no way of identifying her other than her first name.

Fate intervenes with a case of mistaken identity and now both Dylan and his twin, Ryan, are emotionally committed to convincing Olivia that her pleasure is their happiness and that 3 is indeed an excellent number for a life-long relationship. With a little bondage to tie their woman to them and a little pain to break down the formidable emotional walls she's built, Dylan and Ryan will show Olivia that life is about loving and a career is not the only path to personal fulfillment.

Wow...that was a really intense story. I won't re-hash the synopsis as the other reviews have covered the story well but I will say that this wasn't a light or fluffy read. I have read quite a lot of BDSM erotica & this one was a very different take on the theme. The story focused more on the act of psychological submission. The two Alpha's were after Olivia's body, soul & love. I prefer stories where BDSM is limited to the bedroom but because the men weren't looking for a slave I found the story intriguing & stimulating. I will purchase more books in the series but I would have to say that I still prefer my erotica a bit lighter on the psychology.

This was a good first book to kick off the series. Ms. Layle draws the reader in from the beginning with the trouble that Olivia finds when she goes to Madrid to visit her fiancee. Olivia meeting Dylan is so natural she needs him most at this time in her life. When she searches Dylan out again later she is in for the surprise of her life when she finds Ryan as well. While reading the rest of the book the reader is left cheering for Olivia while wanting to scream at her to just share her feelings at the same time. By the end of the book you will truly love the characters.

I really loved this story. I kind of, was not happy how things started with two of the three characters, but things changed. Liv was smart and independent, and I was happy that she was not broken like some Authors have their heroines. And I got to learn some more info in the BDSM world, that's a plus.

If you love Cherise Sinclair's work you will love these two authors. I highly recommend this story. Will be reading more in this series.

These stories are so ADDICTIVE. I am buying more in the series.

The beginning held promise but the book ended up being a letdown. Submission (as a lifestyle, beyond the bedroom) just doesn't bang my drum.

I liked it, I didn't love it. It felt rushed at the end. BDSM is about trust and above all communication so I don't understand how things could have gone so wrong in the relationship. And the ending, just didn't sit right with me. I'm going to try the next book though to see if I like it better.
