A Trillion To One
They say the toughest battles are given to the strongest soldiers so I must be made of Graphene. Growing up in Mississippi with the bare minimum was nothing compared to my life in New Orleans. Aside from my drug addicted mother trying to sell my virginity for crack, and having no one to depend on but me, I ended up in a relationship with the devil himself. Vaughn seemed like any woman’s dream man in the beginning of our relationship but it didn’t take very long for Viper to show up. With no money and no place to go, I had to endure years of cheating and beatings. I didn’t think that things could get any worse but, boy, was I proven wrong. When the police kicked down our door and took us both to jail, all hope was lost, along with my faith in the system. The dark clouds of life just kept following me around and I was tired of being rained on. I was always told that there was something better out there for me and, thank God, somebody’s prayers for me were finally being answered. I swore that I was done with love and relationships but fate had other plans for me. It’s not easy to find a man to love you through your pain. A man who loves you, flaws and all. A man who always puts you first. But I did. Me, Amore, or “his Love”, as he always called me. What are the odds of finding a man who’s not what you want but turns out to be everything that you need? I’ve never been a gambling woman but even I know that the odds of that happening are a trillion to one.

At this point I’m convinced that Chenell Parker performs wizard sorcery when writing her books because they literally have me under a spell. She writes some of the most entertaining, well developed stories that you will ever read and she will forever have a fan in me. She will always get an instant click from me.
Amore didn’t always have a bad childhood however the moment her mother and aunt became hooked on drugs she and her cousins lived a life of struggle. As long as the cousins had each other they made a way out of no way. Well one day at age 16, Amore’s mother decides to sell her virginity in exchange for drugs and Amore barely escapes from their grasp. With nowhere to go, she is befriended by Ms. Ruby and her grandson Vaughn “Viper”. At this point she felt like she had nothing to lose so she moves in with them and just when she thought her life couldn’t get any worse, she realizes she’s moved in with the devil himself. The next 7 years of her life took her through some serious trauma. Viper was HORRIBLE!! He felt that his money afforded him the right to treat Amore any way he pleased but sis showed there was no b*tch in her blood.
An unexpected turn in her life proved to be a blessing in disguise and ultimately led her to Trillion. Now Trillion definitely had his work cut out for him with Amore. After the number Viper did on her, she was not willing to trust another man but Trillion was determined to show her what real love and most importantly a real man looked like. He was so patient and loving with Amore and spoke life into her at every possible moment. Trillion didn’t come without his fare share of drama in the form of his triflin baby mama Leah and even more triflin mama Claire.
We also got to experience the journeys of Amore’s cousins Dallas and Chenell in the book and they had their fair share of foolishness to contribute to the book. Dallas’ drama was A LOT and definitely knocked me off my square! I’m still shook.
This was a nonstop rollercoaster filled with thrills, twists and turns! Do yourself a favor and add all of Chenell’s books to your TBR list! She is a GUARANTEED good time!

One of her best!
Chenell is a beast with the book game and A Trillion To One reflects that. Each character gave a different dynamic to the book. 5 Star read that everyone should take the time to enjoy. I can’t wait for the next book she drops.

Maaaaannnnn, if I could give this book 20 damn stars I would. I buy whatever books Chenell puts out and I’m never disappointed. This is now one of my favorites by her. Amore and her cousin had it hard for a while, I was almost happy for Amore when she met Ms. Ruby and Viper. That Viper was a straight piece of 💩 loved ms. Ruby though. Ciara was another one that wasn’t 💩 Meadow tried it but I’m glad they eventually got it together. I loved the relationship between Amore,Dallas and Chanell. Now Trillion is bae, he didn’t play about is daughter or Amore. Leah was freakin past crazy, I knew it was something when it came to her. Man I could go on and on😂 Just get the book you won’t be disappointed

Great Read!
Chenell Parker has outdone herself once again! I loved Teillion and Amore's relationship. My heart went out to Amore more than anyone, she went through a lot. I am glad that Amore finally found happiness. Now as for Leah that woman was really psychotic and, she got what she deserved!

I loved Trillion and Amore, Aj and Chanell together. I loved the relationship the cousins had. Viper and gene got exactly what they deserved. I also loved the bond between Rod, Blue, and Trillion they had his back no matter what. Also Dallas know she was a character with all them names she was calling them.

Just too much
I'm sorry but while I was reading this book I felt like it was too drawn out. It felt like it was never going to end. I like a long story but this was way too much . I'm glad viper got what he deserved good riddance.

Great book
This book had me from the first page . Amore was a strong young lady I’m glad that she didn’t give up on love with Trillion he was such a dope man and loved that girl with all his heart. What you go thru and life helps mold you to do better. Great book

Love me some Trillion
Whew chile, the beginning of this read literally had me in tearsssssss. It's so hard to understand how a mother can do their child or kids like that. Just when I thought at least Amore was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, here comes Viper. Little did they know that going to jail saved Amore from Viper. Ciara was stupid, and I don't feel sorry for what happened to her, and I hope she didn't think she was exempt from his hits. I was so surprised that Leah was such a lunatic. Viper got exactly what he deserved. I was scared when Dallas got shot, but I'm glad she survived. Meadow surprised the hell out of me, but I'm happy she got it together. Chenell deserves happiness, and I'm glad AJ is giving it to her. Trillion was a blessing that Amore needed and was glad she stopped being stubborn. Great read

My First Chenell Parker Book, and Definitely Not My La
This was the first book I’ve read by Chenell Parker, and I’m so glad I listened to my cousin’s recommendation. The story had me hooked from start to finish. I loved the bond between Amore, Dallas, and Chanel, they truly held each other down and kept each other accountable.
Amore’s story was the typical urban romance troupe but still told beautifully. After everything she went through with Viper, she was off love completely. Trillion misjudged her in the beginning, but once he saw who she really was, he stepped up and showed her the kind of love she truly deserved. That growth made their relationship even more beautiful to watch unfold.
The book had me laughing out loud too (cue the Cheaters scene... I hollered!) It balanced humor, emotion, and real-life struggles perfectly. Chenell Parker delivered a story full of love, healing, and family, and now I see why everyone speaks so highly of her books. Highly recommend.

Loved it
Wasn't expecting Trillion to be Caucasian but what a super sexy Caucasian with swag to match. I was so grateful that Amore was able to escape Viper, he was the true definition of a lame! I knew Leah did Jade dirty, but she got hers in the end. Meadow had to have a come to Jesus moment. To know that your sisters children were out there in the world suffering and not one living relative stepped up is shitty! That pissed me off the most. Chanelle is a fool but Dallas...Dallas was HILARIOUS!! Every time she spoke in regard to Trillion she would call him a different well known white industry persons name. Trillion was Justin Timberlake, Justin Beiber, Paul Wall...was in freaking tears. Everyone who deserved Karma received it tenfold! Loved this book

ONE WILD RIDE!!!
Whew!!! This joint was off the chain! I laughed, cried, and fumed all in the same paragraph.
From the beginning to the end, I was enraptured. Amore is a testament that it's not where you from but where you at. This girl been through the fire, rain, and hurricane, and still came out on top. When you have the love of a man who supports and cherishes you with everything in him, then you can't help but to come out on top.
If you love drama, and I mean LOADS, then click this up. I haven't read a more sinister, vile villain like Viper in a long while. And Trillion...whew...total package. He was a surprise in more ways than one, and I'ma leave it at that.

Great Read
This standalone was good from beginning to the end. Enjoyed these characters and I couldn't put it down. I so loved the relationship between the cousins Amore, Dallas and Chenell. They were more like sisters than cousins and they endured so much in their young lives. Amore, meets Viper, the devil and endure years of abusive. Finally,she finds a man to love her flaws and all. Its a Trillion to one that happens and she finally finds true love and happiness. They encounter some issues along the way, but in the end true love prevailed. Highly recommend this standalone. chaos with a HEA
Amore and her cousins Dallas & Chanell were dealt a bad hand and simply tried to make the best with what they had. Amore ended up with Dr. Jekyll & Hyde [Viper] and was trapped for years. Viper was such a disgusting character- he was foul on so many levels to not only Amore but also to his grandmother! Trillion came on the scene and although he had to work for it, Amore was his and he didn’t mind at all. I loved Trillion and how he stood ten toes behind Amore, and treated her the way she truly deserved to be treated. The cousins were hilarious and I loved their bond!

Simply beautiful
Omg this book was so damn amazing and I could not put it down for a second... Chenell never fails and always come through with a book that is more than amazing. Worth more than five stars it deserves all of them. Amore, Chanel and Dallas was so strong and their bond was unbreakable. Viper deserves what he got he was such a messed up individual. Trillion was bookbae times 1000. I loved this book and can’t wait to dive into another bestseller by one of my favs.

The story was good it just shows you that love has no color it was beautiful and I hope everybody read a book.
I read the book from beginning to end I couldn't even go to sleep it was such a good book and I hope everybody get a chance to read it because love has no color and some people can just be jealous of your success it was just an all-around book I wish I could give it to the stars but it was worth every bit of it.

I love this author's work. She can really tell a story. Amore and Trillion met right when the time was right. Their love flowed throughout the book. He made her better in so many ways. The growth of all the cousins was so good. Viper was the devil. Leah was crazy as hell. Overall great job

I loved the story between Amore and Trillion. She was passing me off the way she let Viper treat her and then how she was Trillion when they first met. But I'm glad that she got her shit together. I loved Chanelle and Dallas. Meadow eventually won me over. Ciara, Leah, and Clair just left me speechless. Definitely a must read.

Amazing
The story was written with no hands barred. The self preservation was only way to live for the three cousins. I couldn't believe that the mother would sell her daughter for drugs.
Then Amore jumped out the fire into the frying pan. So much happened to her after she met MS. Ruby and Viper, a snake he was.
I was happy all three girls found their happy endings.

Unexpected
I'm a sucker for black urban Romance but this was a good read. Trillion was not your typical vanilla ice cream. He was laid back and easy going. If it didn't make dollars to him it didn't make cents. The cousins were truly examples of, we all we got. I would definitely recommend reading.

This is a great book BUT…
Miss Chenell has really outdone her self once again. Great story line. No doubt. My only complaint is it seemed as if Trillion came in and saved the “black girl lost”. I wasn’t feeling that BUT in all the story line was soooo good. Just wish she’d have been a little more than what she was before HE saved HER and her family…

I'm so happy that in the end Amore finally got her happily Ending.. Because that's not always the case I like facts love is what she found Being that I know what Domestic abuse can do It's been 13 years now this passed January since my cousin passed from the hands of the man who was supposed to love her ..I miss her every day

Brilliant and Beautiful
Amore was a true strong female! Trillion was what I’d call alpha male. He didn’t man handle Amore to get his point across he just spoke up and put his foot down.

Chenell Parker did it again. I loved Trillion and Amore together. He loved him some chocolate. Viper was crazy. Leah was coco crazy. Ciara was a hater that I saw from the beginning. I loved the bond that Amore, Channel and Dallas had. Dallas was so funny calling Trillion and the kids all the different names. This was a great book.

I swear I need me a Trillion! Amore suffered so much disappointment after her mother tried doing the unthinkable. Viper was a sad excuse for a man and although Amore got caught up, it was necessary for her to move on with her life. I'll admit I thought for sure Ciara was the one responsible until Logan was exposed. I loved the bond Amore shared with Dallas and Chanell. Meadow really got beside herself but she redeemed herself in the end. Man Leah had some deep issues and it was unfortunate Abby held onto such a secret for so long. Claire needed a good beat down but Amore checked her quickly. Amore and Trillion's situation started a little rocky but once they got to really know one another they built an undeniable bond. Even with every obstacle they faced it only seemed to make them stronger. Their love was definitely a trillion to one but I was so happy Amore didn't allow her past to define her and Trillion continued to push her to want and do better.
