An Affair In Paris is book #3.5 in the Fallen Angel series by Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank. I read the first three books in this series forever ago and for the life of me, I don’t know why I waited so long to come back and finish it. This is a very short little novella featuring Halo’s younger sister, Imogen.
Imogen has just arrived in Paris thanks to her rock star brother, Halo, lead singer of the world famous rock band, Fallen Angel. Imogen is determined to have a night to remember on her first night in the city and who does she run into? Fallen Angel’s keyboardist and drummer, Jagger and Slade.
The entire novella is the one night and you might need to turn down your air conditioners for this one. These three live out a night none of them will soon forget. The only thing is that my romance loving heart wanted this to be more of the beginning of something long term, rather than just a hot night. But who knows, maybe it will be?! I am going straight into the final book in the series, Lust Hate Love, which is Levi and Killian’s book!

This was such a fun and very sexy short little story... I definitely recommend you to read the Fallen Angel trilogy first to actually get to know our main trio of characters ;) by the way, is there a petition somewhere for me to sign, to give Slade, Jagger and Imogen a full lenght book in the future? cause I am very much interested to read it... ;) if this duo of authors can give us so much heat and passion in just five chapters, imagine what would happen if we got more... and I don't mean just the sexy times, but a bigger connection between them as well... here's hoping it might happen ;)

To be honest, I'm not a fan when authors throw in MFM stories in the middle of what is otherwise an MM series. If I know ahead of time, I don't even start reading those series or I end up skipping the MFM books in them. Nothing personal, just not what I'm in the mood to read at the moment. But because I love the Fallen Angel series so much I knew I'd be reading this one too, simply because I don't want to feel like I missed out on anything in upcoming books.
I thought the encounter with the three of them was very hot but I have to agree with a few other reviewers where I wish it was someone other than Imogen with Slade and Jagger. If Slade and Jagger can't be with each other (damn it!) then I really do like the idea of them sharing a woman. But not Imogen. She and Halo have this very close relationship where they tell each other everything. They're protective of each other and Imogen didn't hesitate to tell Viper off when she thought he was hurting her brother. So why can't Halo be protective of his sister too? Especially when he knows his bandmates have a revolving bedroom door? It bothered me that Imogen seemed to have no problem basically lying to Halo about staying in, and then she found it funny how easily Jagger lied too when Halo was just worried about her. She was only in Paris to begin with because her brother paid to fly her out there and was putting her up at the fancy hotel. Seems reasonable he'd worry if he thought she was out on her own in a foreign country. So she couldn't send him a simple text to let him know she was ok? She didn't like Halo keeping things from her but I guess it's ok for her to do that. I get Imogen wanted to be her own independent woman and clearly she had needs. Like in your face needs, which could we take it down a notch please Imogen? She could have had any man there she wanted, so why risk the relationship with the person you're closest to if it would upset him you slept with his bandmates? But I'm sure everyone will now live happily ever after because Slade and Jagger will decide they simply can't live without her and Halo won't mind at all. Whatever. Bring on Killian please :)

Well ... that was adorable!
It's sooo very short but also very sexy! The perfect little addition to the amazing Fallen Angels Rock Star Series! (And yes, you should really read those 3 books first! Start with Halo!)
It was a shorty - so it was totally okay the way it was. I loved it! But at the same time I wanted sooooo much more! I wanted more Paris, more sex! More Halo and Viper and Killian. ☺

Short steamy read about Halo's sister, Imogen, hooking up with two of his bandmates, Jagger and Slade. MFM. This can be read as a standalone without prior knowledge of the first three books as it hardly involves Halo or Viper. This wasn't a romance, just fantastic smut. I thought the sexual tension and build-up was the hottest part, more so than the actual sex. I would love if this pairing got their own book sometime in the future that evolved into an actual relationship!
ETA: This trio doesn't get their own book but they do have a continuing storyline in the next book, Lust Hate Love, and .

This was my first time listening to Tessa Tessa Ellory and I enjoyed her narration. She has a really nice voice and I thought her male voices were done very well. She sounded age appropriate for Imogene's character, which I really appreciated. I hope to hear her doing more books in the future- I think she'd be great for some YA books, and definitely NA!

So yeah, probably not the smartest idea to have read this while I worked...sweet lord above that was some hot stuff.
This was a quickie, kind of like the night Slade, Jagger, and Imogene spent together. Although, to their credit, the guys didn't disappoint.
If you're looking for some deep, meaningful story between these 3, you won't find it here. This was pure erotica, plain and simple.
I'm not sure if Ella and Brooke have plans to take these 3 any further in the future, but I wouldn't say no if they did! I'd kind of like to see how Halo reacts when/if he finds out about them.

Ugh.
With anyone else this might have been a hot and sexy story.
But with Imogen it was not.
It was painful and clichéd.
What Jagger and Slade should have done is told Imogen to stop acting like some low rent version of Jessica Rabbit.
She was so ridiculous it was PAINFUL to read.
Why oh why can’t a woman be sexy and smart?
Do our IQ’s plunge with our necklines?
Also. I have a HUGE issue with the fact that Imogen didn’t give two shits that she could be majorly screwing with their bands dynamics! She admits it, and admits she doesn’t care.
Halo told Slade and Jagger his sister was off limits. Honestly most guys I know would respect that. And Slade and Jagger not doing so, because ohmygawdshessohawt! was lame and stupid.
They’re smart guys. I don’t believe for a hot second they would bang Halo’s sister. No matter how much she acted like a brainless slam hound groupie.
And the next morning when Jagger LIES to a worried Halo that he hasn’t seen his sister...Imogen...giggles.

The story is hot and I would have rated it much higher if it had been any other combination of characters. I was disappointed in how Imogen was portrayed; Halo and his sister have a very close relationship, they are supportive and protective of each other, so to see her deceptively go behind his back and hook up with his two band mates did not work for me.

And oh so fun!
Not that I’m surprised when it comes to these two authors. They definitely know how to give good smex and do they give it to us with Imogen, Slade and Jagger in this short. And it is a short, a moment in time, a slice of life ~ so if you’re looking for anything deeper than three people enjoying themselves, you will be disappointed. This isn’t to say that there isn’t a chance that there will be more in the future, but for now...it’s all about fun, smexy times between these three.
And I have to say it totally worked for me. After the little tease in Angel I was hoping that something would happen between the three, or even just two of them, so this was a lovely surprise from these authors as we wait patiently/not so patiently for more of their words.
Note: This can be read as a standalone, but, as always, I think it would be that much more fun if you read Halo, Viper & Angel first.

Full disclosure...this is a short story, and my only complaint is that it isn’t enough. This is the start of the trio of Slade, Jagger, and Imogen. And while it was HOT and so much fun to read, after reading about them in the epilogue in Lust. Hate. Love., I want to see them fall in love and become more than the one night.

Slade and Jagger take Halo’s horny sister, Imogene, up to one of their rooms and give her what she wants.
It’s not an affair but a ménage hookup that couldn’t be more bluntly initiated by Imogene.
Some fans/readers of the Fallen Angel series wanted to see these three have a story, and quite honestly, I really wanted something to start with the two band members. Imogene was nothing but a complete slut. I’m certain there’ll be more written about the three of them ~ Why? Who the hell knows but let me guess how it’ll all end ... Slade and Jagger will spend the rest of their lives keeping this chick sexually satisfied when, in my opinion, the guys each deserve their own love interest. And of course, everyone will be happy and embrace their unconventional triad. **Rolls eyes**
Let’s not forget that they all made a fool of Halo: first, because they knew Halo considered his sister off limits; second, when Halo knocked on their door, clearly worried about his sister, they pretended to be clueless of her whereabouts.

Imogen came out of nowhere and gave Jagger & Slade one night they won't soon forget. A short little morsel with Halo's little sister and his two bandmates. I still have have my hopes that Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine will write a full length story about Jagger and Slade but this will do, for now.

Well, this was a story that I didn't know I needed until I started it.
And goodness gracious, great balls of fire this was hot hot hot!
Jagger, Slade and Imogen with one night of passion had this old girl fanning herself. So much heat, they were burning up the sheets!

REVIEW: 5 SEXY STARS
"He flashed me a grin that was right on the wrong side of trouble."
If I give this negative 5 stars, do you think Ella and Brooke will come back and try to fix their problem. What problem, you ask? This book was entirely too freakin' short!!! OMGosh, Imogen, Slade and Jagger were all sorts of WOAH. That's my adjective of the day. Woah.
There honestly isn't really much I can say about this novella other than for how short it was, it gave me one long look into the fire that burns between these three and it could/should be easily explored in a full length book. #SelfishBee The dynamic, the sexual chemistry, the heat between these three was so combustible. Absolutely, hands down, holy sh!t, deliciously HOT. Sinfully delicious. I honestly could have read them for days. sigh
I am honestly sitting over here, wondering how I can bribe Ella and Brooke into writing Jagger, Slade and Imogen's full story. I know there is one there. The forbidden side. The hiding. The sneaking around. It's all there!! I can feel it. I was in it one minute and then....it ended!!! Argh!!!! Soooo good.
