Their love was unbreakable, until his stardom tore them apart. Now he’s back, and her shocking secret threatens their second chance.
The day I meet Chris is like any other day. I’ve been kicked out of yet another foster home. The moment I see the piercing in his lip and the tattoos on his smooth skin, I know I won’t last long here.
I’ve never been so happy to be so wrong.
With a patience I’ve never known in my short, tumultuous life, Chris and his mother show me it’s possible to trust again. And when no one’s looking, Chris shows me it’s possible to feel loved.
Unfortunately, he’s my foster brother. I can be kicked out of the only home I’ve ever known if anyone finds out about us.
But once I set off to college, Chris and I can finally come out. And suddenly, hiding our love is the least of our worries when Chris is offered a record deal.
Chris is adamant he’ll never leave me. I know he won’t take the deal unless I force him to.
I have to do the unthinkable. I have to do it for him.

She is the author of the Shattered Hearts series (Relentless, Pieces of You, Bring Me Home). She is also the author of the popular Luke and Chase series.
Absolutely so in love with this series..... So much heart and souls that goes into this story it will definitely leave you hanging at the end. So keep on reading because every book is better than the last!
Overall, I really enjoyed this series. The story was well written. For the most part I liked the characters but they seemed to be some of the unluckiest people on the planet! I realize that tension helps To Move the story along, but it is easy to become fatigued with all the drama/sadness/angst. The author kept all of the main characters very likable where it would have been easy to draw them larger, simpler, and less complicated than was depicted. I still found myself sighing and thinking “seriously—AGAIN??!”
If I had realized that this was about teenagers, I never would have bought it. So. Much. Crying. So. Much. Angst. I read these 3 books and I still don’t know how it ends. And I don’t care anymore. So done with the constant indecisiveness, the keeping secrets, the I-can’t-do-this-but-I-want-to-but-I-can’t. I don’t even know why I finished this. It became torture after a while. I need to read something light and stupid to get this out of my head.
Read the first three books. Kind of slow going. I’m a fast reader and it took me two to three months to finish and then there’s a climax. Like a it’s just an episode on TV and it’s mid-season finale.
I had trouble relating to the characters, especially Claire. The third book ended where the first book began and it was a cliffhanger. I will not be reading the rest of the series.
Claire grows up moving from foster home to foster home. She never knew her father & her mother died of an overdose. She went to the last foster house, this is where she met Chris. He is hanging out with some friends & playing the guitar. He welcomes her to join them. Forever Ours is about Claire & Chris growing up through their teens together & their first love. Relentless is about saying goodbye. Chris' band has the opportunity to your but he doesn't want to leave Claire. When Claire turns 18, they start having sex. They know each other so well. Claire doesn't want Chris to leave but she knows this is something that he has to do, so she breaks up with him. The third book Claire goes away to school. She has a secret that is slowly tearing her apart. She has her own apartment now & she meets Adam. He picks up the pieces of her shattered life & they fall in love. However, Adam has his own dark secrets that he lives with. There is so much more that these are a must read. However, I found out that this is not a trilogy. The end of book 3 is left with questions about Claire 's father & a sibling. Upon searching Amazon, the story does continue. I have these 3 books (box set), 5 stars because the characters are very well developed, there are no grammatical errors, the storyline is well thought out and it kept my interest. So now I am left hanging and I have to continue with the story because I have to find out what decisions Claire makes. This box set was free on kindle unlimited.

This is an amazing series of books that I have read several times and each time that I do, I fall more in love with them. Each of the books move along at a great pace, have amazing characters and a story that will grab you and not let you go.
The nice thing with it being in a box set is that as soon as you finish one you have the next one there and trust me as soon as you finish one, you will want the next one.
These need to be read, so add to your TBR list you will not be sorry.
The main character is irritating and not believable. At one moment I feel empathy during to her foster child status and the next I want to strangle her for not being able to make a decision. It may be that I do not understand how it feels to be in those shoes. However I think the author could have helped that. Liked the first book. Tolerated the second. Couldn't wait for the third to end.
For now, I'll give it a three. I really love this books, there were so many things that had happened and I felt kinda lost. I felt so many emotions in me, I'm so confused. You can't really tell where the story was going which I think were both good and bad. But yeah, hoping the next box series would be able to lead me to my expectations. Anyways, I'm team Chris.
Interesting concept to sort f begin at the end and then go back. I n enjoyed reading about Chaire until she turned 18, but then the got pornographic There was no need to go to the graphic details about her having sex with Chris and Adam if anything that detracted from the story. Big disappointment.
