After reading Viking, I literally devoured this series, and I just want a book about Jackson the last Detta brother.

The Players is the hottest and best book in this series. If you love scorching M/F/M romance with an engaging and well written storyline, then this is definitely the book for you, I found myself being very jealous and envious of Carmen with her sexy and brooding men, Vince and Sy.

Carmen was involved in a abusive and horrible marriage prior to being with Vince and Sy. Although her husband is deceased, the sins of the past are still haunting Carmen which led to her being in grave danger. She needs Vince and Sy’s protection and love more than she knows. And trust me, she couldn’t have had better men to help. All of these characters were well developed and Ms. Bell did a wonderful job with their backgrounds which made for a excellent book that I just couldn’t put down. The Players had an equal amount of angst, tantalizing sex and suspense. I truly enjoyed it and highly recommend reading it!!

Shanna is an amazing author! I have read the previous books in this series and loved each one and Shanna quickly became one of my top 5 authors. I was a little hesitant with The Players as I don’t normally like M/F/M romance but don’t let that stop you. The story different then I expected and I found myself loving this read. The story follows Carmen and the men who both want her Vince and Sy. Carmen has a traumatic past. She was stuck in an abusive marriage prior to being with Vince and Sy. Carmen’s husband may be now ‘gone’ but his past sins have put Carmen’s life at risk. As I said, I’m not a ménage reader but this story is so engaging and romantic I fell in love with both is story is compelling and complicated as well as sexy and hot. Definitely a book well worth the reader’s time and,money. I recommend 😊

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Great addition to the series!!! Sy, Carmen and Vince's relationship is intense. It a constant back and forth battle. Carmen needs their help to stay safe and is resisting at every turn. Eventually the relationship building starts w/ Sy and then blossoms with Vince. Her and Vince have history. There is tons of steam and action and I cannot wait for Kristoff's book!! Great read- definitely recommend!!!

Een heerlijk slot van de Bad Romance serie. Carmen maakt als personage een enorme groei door en Vince en Sy stelen je hart. De schrijfstijl neemt je meteen weer mee naar de Detta familie. De gevaren en gebeurtenissen zijn totaal anders als de voorgaande delen van de serie, maar dit is een echte must read.

Unexpected

Vince and Sy have a plan to help Carmen, but she doesn't want their help. Quite a tragic past that she's working through and it just won't seem to end. The BDSM connection was not that prevalent, and the triangle relationship shifted back and forth quite a bit. Lots of avenues were explored for the mystery aspect and I was definitely turning the pages quickly to find out what would happen next. Carmen got in a LOT of trouble. Of course, the twins were also the best part again in this read.

Second chance

It has gotten to a point where I have to get jealous of the MC in books. Whilst I am not able to find 1 single person, Carmen takes 2 at the same time lol
She has been through a lot and she deserves this and everything she would ever want.
There was a lot going on this 250 pages and it sometimes turned out a bit over the top, but it was very amusing and maybe even the best out of all 4 books from this series.

3.5 stars. I liked the mafia story and I always love a menage, but something about this one never quite gelled for me. The characters were all interesting - Carmen, Sy, and Vince - but their triad didn't seem to be greater than the sum of its parts. I always wanted more smexy times!!!!

The author has built an interesting world, so I'll probably dip back into it read more about the other characters, particularly Viking.

Not what I was expecting....I was hoping it was the twins story but I was pleasantly surprised. Carmen didn't even cross my mind. After her traumas from her husband, the abuse and losing a baby I never figured her to come out in this story let alone with Vince and Sy. Wow!
This book brought a lot of answers to things, but also raised questions....I can't wait for more from this author.

Het laatste deel van de Bad Romance serie is ook weer goed.
Ook in dit verhaal gebeurd er weer heel veel, maar mede dat zorgt ervoor dat je blijft lezen. Het verhaal wordt vanuit Carmen, Vince en Sy verteld. Die afwisseling is fijn omdat je zo alle hoofdpersonen ook beter leert kennen.
Het boek heeft spicy scènes, maar het richt zich meer op het verhaal dan op enkel spicy scènes.

Good read

Liked the characters and the story! Needs a good proofreader as some parts are hard to understand. Although can be read as a stand alone, reading in order would help with the background of other characters referenced.

This Series started on such a high, as I was totally captivated by the first book, “The Leader”, and found the “The Enforcer” almost as good.
This storyline was too violent for me. I don’t usually like threesomes and didn’t even believe this one. The storyline did nothing to convince me that Carmen would be open to that type of lifestyle. To me, Carmen was clearly more attractive to one man over the other, and not the man I expected.
A good Series keeps you updated on and may even involve the previous couples from the prior books, especially when the characters are related. I will admit, Tess, did play a role in this book and at least Jazzy made an appearance or two. Unfortunately, Vince’s brothers were absence from this plot, which was disappointing.
As with “The Gambler”, I found myself getting confused, as there were so many villains to keep track of and honesty, I got to the point, where it didn’t even matter, as everyone was evil. Come on, Carmen gets kidnapped twice! At this point, I am not sure I will even read the spin-off Series, “Bloody Romance”.

Really enjoyed first two books, third was ok but this one I found to be really poor, struggled to get into it and found myself skipping pages.
