故事性不強，人物過於卡通，提出的理論也幾乎通通是天馬行空的想像。但是，其中一個重要的謎題，不論出題和解題都極為精彩，有強烈的數學邏輯根據。單就這點，已值五星評價——對本格推理迷如我，滿足得沒話說。

A detective accepts a case, now all he needs to do is to find out whether his client killed her best friend and beheaded him during a cult mass suicide that took place 10 years ago in an isolated village. The only eyewitness of this suspected murder? His client, the young girl who was also the sole survivor of this mass cult suicide.

It's kind of a mind fuck book and different characters in the story offered up their theories to explain how the murder took place. So, the best part of the story is...you guessed it, the final explanation of the murder mystery and whether the young girl killed her best friend and how this 'impossible crime' happened!! It really can catch you off guard! At first, I thought the murder weapon was removed from the crime scene by a farm animal but of course, the author wouldn't settle for an explanation that is so ordinary! you pretty find out more on your own!

電波作；總之本作就是超級電波作。

如書背簡介所寫的，偵探的目的在於論證「所有詭計都不成立」以「證明奇蹟確實存在」，這和惡魔的證明本身是同個意義，幾乎可說是一場打不贏的仗。因此故事中提出的數個解答看似天馬行空，實際上卻存在著清晰的邏輯脈絡，即使手法再不合理，只要具備可能性便等同於「否定奇蹟」的存在，而「肯定奇蹟」的偵探目的便是找出之中的漏洞，證明犯罪的不可能性即為奇蹟存在的印證。最有趣的部分莫過於把前述所有看似獨立且已被推翻的詭計理論結合起來，完成「否定之否定」。

把這套概念完美應用在推理上也可說是種奇蹟了，不用設計繞來繞去的密室或機關，單純藉由純粹的邏輯性達到推理的最大趣味。我想任何人看完這本書都會覺得它真了不起。
