Sick of his hoarding and a house filled to the brim with junk, football player Romeo Tuckett’s family goes behind his back to hire a professional cleaner who specializes in cleaning the houses of hoarders. When Romeo finds out, he is completely against the idea and rejects any outside help, but when his family threatens to expose his secret, Romeo is forced to act.
Arissa Suarez, owner of Tidier Homes, Inc., is no stranger to the houses of hoarders. Her own mother was a hoarder and the experience compelled Arissa to start her own company to help those who want to clean and organize their homes. She doesn’t expect anything but a normal job, but when she meets Romeo for the first time, she can’t deny her immediate attraction to him.
As a relationship between the two develops, Arissa know she must reveal her deepest secret to Romeo. But it’s a secret that could end their blossoming romance.
This is a standalone romance short story ending HEA and the book contains language, situations, or images appropriate for readers over 18 years of age only!
This is the first transgender book I have read. I was surprised no offence but it just a woman with a penis. A woman ( I would use the word normal, but I shouldn't have to because she is normal ) who is feminine, shy and all woman. With an idiot ex, anew love and a HEA. Just wish it was longer.
Sorry, but this was actually a 1.7 star read for me - with 0.7 star for the lack of typos (I found only one!) and the nice style of writing! 1 full star solely goes to the potential of the main story that unfortunately has not been realised. The main story seemed really interesting at first, starting slowly, with Arissa arriving at work, the reader learning that she is transgender, a violent ex-boyfriend showing up unexpectedly and beating her up, Romeo's hoarding problem aggravated by the rather recent death of his sister (how did she die, by the way??? this is not resolved), Romeo being famous and the media bloodhounds lurking in the bushes ... But this is not the kind of stuff you put in a SHORT story!!! Arissa and Romeo get together far too quickly and far too easily - there is no build-up and no development of their relationship at all! It's insta-love, insta-sex, insta-HEA, and any potential complications fly out of the window in the blink of an eye. A lot of threads are left blowing in the wind and the story seems rushed and unfinished. I am not really convinced to read the additional "bonus stories", even though they also seem to have potential and I am very much interested in the topics ... P.S. Tried the first bonus story and did not finish it - no point in wasting my time! Again, the idea as such was not bad, but the execution was a disaster - I am sorry ...
