Because I am an English teacher in an academy, I have read this book many times over now. I think it is good but not great. The 1995 movie was a masterpiece. I highly recommend reading this book then watching the movie.

'She is hungrier than I am' The main character, Sara finds a skinny, poor girl sitting on the snow on the side of the road one day in winter. Sara is also hungry because she does not get enough to eat because of being her servant life. However, once she found this poor girl, she thinks this passage, and she gives her new hot bread she just bought by her little money. The passage shows how strong and kind she is even though being in such a difficult situation.
I have watched the movie based on this book, and it is one of my favorites ever. She comes from India to England, and everything is different from many aspects. This tells me to stand strong when I face to such a hard situation. I love this book!
The story is very brief, but I liked the additions such as the audio book and the questions at the end of the book. It is very suitable for anyone who wants to learn English

"I'm always going to be your friend- and nobody can stop me!" The reason why I chose this passage is that someone who I can say something like that to me is my true friend.
I had never seen or read this story before. So I haven't known this is famous. In fact, I like this book because there are some scenes which I moved. The main character Sara is very powerful. If I have such as hard situation, I definitely want to be like her.
4. My favorite scene is that Sara whisper to herself, "I must be brave. A princess is always brave, so I must be, too." Whatever happened and it made her sad, she didn't cry and was brave.
5. Sara became a poor girl and was obliged to work hard everyday, but she never gave up her life and she was always brave. Her heart is really beautiful! I thought she was princess truly!
