Lyla thought choosing between her boyfriend and her best friend was tough—until she finds herself torn between the charming Caspian and the irresistibly powerful Royal Alpha, Sebastian.
At the Summit, where werewolves gather to secure their future, Lyla’s world is flipped upside down when she discovers that Sebastian is her true mate. Cue the steamy tension and a love triangle that could ignite a forest fire.
But it’s not all moonlit nights and stolen glances; with rogue wolves on the prowl and dark secrets from Sebastian’s past clawing their way to the surface, Lyla’s got more than just her heart on the line. Can she navigate this wild ride without losing everything? It’s going to be a howling good time.
You don’t find out who she chooses until book 3 chapter 1. Look away now if you don’t want to no but I no a lot are frustrated so here it goes, she chooses … Sebastian

Couldn’t even finish the first book, got through the first 10 chapters or so and gave up. Had an interesting premise but the chapters are repetitive, the main character is unlikable and juvenile, and from other reviews and spoilers I learned that by the end of all the books she still hadn’t made a decision. Idk what it is about these romance writers, especially fantasy ones, nowadays with making their heroines annoying and illogical but this story is just another one of those that drags you and it’s characters along without progressing anything or having any real growth while the main character has the maturity and emotional depth of a 10 year old. Angst for the sake of angst isn’t good, or even satisfying, storytelling.

“The Alpha’s Call,” by Bianca Alejandra started out pretty interesting, but ended on a serious cliffhanger, when honestly the book could have just come to an end in my opinion. Then again I’m an older reader, this book is more for the young adults, unless some improvements are made. It has an ongoing three way triangle. It has a villain that won’t quit and if you’re looking for any fun and steamy love scenes this is definitely not your book.
Again, it has an ongoing plot of this three way triangle which at first was making sense to me but based off the whole mating connection between werewolves I don’t know if I can get behind it?🤔🤔 Also, the heroine is definitely very immature and she admits it to herself during the book so it kind of helps but she doesn’t change her behavior so it still gets on your nerves…The hero in this Sebastian, for now, that’s if she doesn’t change his name, I notice some of these authors in Galatea become published and change the whole darn book, with this one I might not complain if that happens….Anyway, the hero wasn’t bad. He’s just constantly having to deal with the heroines, best friend and love from the past Caspian…….🙄😵💫🤪😔
I want to know who she picks but I don’t…Does that make sense?😂😂
The concept of interactive reading intrigued me so I figured I would try this app out. The Alpha’s Call is pretty typical of the content available on Galatea - poor editing, cringy characters/plots, redundant inner monologue and dialogue, short chapters that end on cliffhangers. Honestly, fan fiction is more original than this garbage.
Whilst I enjoyed reading this book, it wasn’t well edited and I couldn’t help the feeling that it was being dragged out for the sake of it (so that you had to purchase more chapters). I thought the concept of app reading was interesting (and frankly I wanted something trashy to read) so I went with it. I actually ended up reading book 2 (and the first chapter of book 3) in order to find out who she chose in the end. Again, this just felt like it was done for in-app purchasing - there was really no need for the reveal to be in chapter 1 of book 3, it could have been the last chapter of book 2. All in all, I was engrossed in the story (if not a little frustrated), and I’m glad I tried reading in this way, but I don’t think it’s for me moving forward. If this book was edited correctly and published, it has the potential to be a great story with some complex characters.
Another Galatea mess. I'm really upset with myself for wasting my money on a subscription for this lack luster smut. The spice level is pretty minimal, and the FMC is annoying. I have never felt bad for a male character for "delayed' consent, but I was feeling bad for Casian. Magnolia seems 1000 Xs better then then FMC and she would definitely make a better luna.
I’m pissed that I spent 15 dollars trying to finish this “book” it’s stupidly repetitive. Love triangles are interesting but not when they go in for forever. There needs to be a choice made. Also the second mate thing it not consistent with the werewolf mating bond. In other books I’ve read, it doesn’t matter who you had past relationships with, only your mate matters and you only have feelings for them. It’s a waste of time and money to read this book. I do NOT recommend
Story shows promise, but then you find out Lyla is 21 going on 13. She is immature, selfish, and horribly hypocritical. She has her two year boyfriend Caspian. But finds out her true mate is the royal alpha Sebastian. She can’t decide who to be with. She has the audacity to be upset when Sebastian won’t treat her like a Luna (even though she hasn’t made a decision to take that role) and gets jealous (even though she let Caspian rub his dick on her vagina, AFTER already knowing Sebastian is her true mate.) This main character is so annoying I hung in there just to find out who she would choose. And guess what, at the end of the book, she still doesn’t choose. It’s all bullshit and I wish Sebastian was given a second chance mate so he could leave Lyla. And then Caspian should find his true mate and leave Lyla. Then Lyla could be alone. Forever. That would be a HEA for me. Because Lyla is awful and I don’t think anyone should waste their time reading this book that will repeatedly go back and forth between the two guys. With absolutely no resolution in sight, as book 2 starts off with more triangle drama. I suspect we’ll know which one she picks by the end of book 2, but do I really want to be frustrated by Lyla for her to choose Sebastian (as that’s the only choice) only to feel like Sebastian deserves so much better. Why did they ruin a pretty good story with such a vile main character!?
You won’t find out her choice until book 3. So all of book 2 will be more irritation as Lyla feels sorry for herself and blah blah blah. Book 3 will finally reveal her choice. And at this point I quit. Can’t imagine reading about the awful Lyla and the poor guy stuck with her who actually believes he’s the luckiest guy ever.
I started to read this book and was really enjoying it…until Book 1 ended with no conclusion and started becoming a weird mess. I wasted a whole date reading it and was frustrated by the main character’s selfishness, indecisiveness and overall attitude. Not to mention that of Caspian’s. I came to see if there were other reviews for it and found out the SPOILER that at the end of the last book she still hasn’t even picked and the story hasn’t advanced. I’m not wasting anymore of my time reading this book that obviously has no other way to keep a reader entertained other than stringing them along. Kind of like the main character in the book. A tease. Don’t waste your time…

The writing is decent. The story is interesting but the characters and their inner motivations were selfish and frustrating. So if you want to read a book about a selfish girl who leads two decent men on and ruins them. Then this book is for you.
It’s too bad because I see potential in the author I just can’t get past the shallow characters.
DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. SHE CANNOT PICK A MATE AND ONLY WASTE TIME BEING INDECISIVE WHILE BEING WITH THE TWO MEN. BOOK 1 IS EMPTY. ONLY IF YOU SUBSCRIBE TO EMPTY AIRHEADED NOVELS SHOULD YOU WASTE YOUR TIME READING THIS PILE OF GARBAGE.
Started out pretty good but as I read further along it got a bit boring and not as interesting for me . Thought that the ending would have been good just after she chose her mate and left it at that but after that I lost interest . Interesting good plot but just dragged on too much
I love the book but I can't for the life of me figure out what the song from Chapter 13 is and it has been driving me insane, someone please help me before I lose it.
One of the best stories I've read so far... Still in the middle of reading it. Sending my love to the writer and to Galatea for supporting her and this novel.. ❤️
The story just got too weird for me. The angst and childish behavior reminded me too much of high school. And when the Moon Goddess put all three of them together... I was done with the whole thing.
