Heaven is calling. A missing woman may hold the key to the pearly gates for three fallen angels who just want to go home.

Tossed out of Heaven for reasons unknown, angels Rachel, Becky, and Sarah land on Earth moments too late to stop a crime.

Convinced finding the kidnapped teacher will help them get back home and with no heavenly direction, the angels act on divine instinct, working with the police to find the missing woman. With no angelic power blending in proves challenging. Almost as challenging as dealing with fatigue and hunger again.

Failure is not an option. Centuries as divine beings leave them unprepared for a lengthy stay on Earth.

Read this prequel to find out what happened when the angels first arrived on earth, and discover a deeper mystery to be unraveled in the Angels of the Apocalypse series.

Cindy is a member of Sisters in Crime and a graduate of Hal Croasmun's screenwriting ProSeries. Her interviews with writers of CSI and Flashpoint appeared in The Rewrit, the Scriptscene newsletter, the screenwriting Chapter of RWA. She writes screenplays, thrillers, and paranormals, occasionally exploring an erotic twist. A background in banking and IT doesn't allow much in the way of excitement so she turns to writing stories that are a little dark and usually have a dead body. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband and their cat. When she's not writing you can usually find her painting landscapes in oil or trying space paintings with spray paint.

Loved reading this prequel. Cindy really sets the stage for what is to come. Why were they sent and what do they need to do to go back. Really enjoyed how they all choose what they will do and how they will make things work until then.
