They say the truth will set you free, but now that I know the truth about who I am, I feel more trapped than ever.As if keeping my forbidden relationship with a vampire secret wasn’t enough, I have to hide my true identity from the world. If word gets out on who—on what—I am, angels and demons alike will rage a war for me.No pressure or anything, right? Not all hope is lost through, as I have powerful allies—a whopping two, to be exact—who think maybe we have a chance at proving my life is worth saving, that I’ve made it this far without being tempted to the dark side. That I’m good. But then again…even the Devil was once an angel.

5 FANTASTIC STARS!! Another fantastic book in this series. I love going back to Thorne Hill with Lucas and Callie, they keep us readers on our toes. The love between these two oozes off the pages...they have each other's backs no matter what. I can't wait for book 5...I need more of these two in my life. If you haven't started this series you definitely need to.
So I have been in a HUGE book funk these past couple months. But this book right here helped pull me out (only to possibly throw me right back in, haha). This book picks up right where Call of Night leaves off- so YES you do need to read the first three books before jumping in to Still of Night. After Callie learns some truths about her, her and Lucas must decide how of if they are going to proceed with their relationship- since it is against the law for witches and vampires to be together. And to top it off, someone wants Callie dead, again. Plus if you think your family has drama, you don't have anything on Callie's. The truth of her relations has her questioning if she really is good, or may become evil. As always Emily has left me wanting more. I LOVED Lucas and Callie's story. And I cannot wait to see what happens next. Lucas is not only sweet, kind, and caring, for being over a thousand years old- not letting the world harden him- but he's also a fierce protector of those he cares about, and will rip out the throats of those who cross him without even thinking twice. And Callie is still badass. She is stronger now then she's ever been, still wanting to do what is right- for those she cares about, and for herself- even if that means giving up something she loves. I need more of Lucas and Callie's story. More of Thorne Hill, of the vampires, witches, and demons. I fell in love with this world and cannot wait to see how the rest unfolds. If you love the paranormal I highly recommend you pick up these books! 5 fang-bearing ⭐ out of 5⭐.
2.5* Honestly wasn't feeling this one, we get almost no answers to any of the stuff that has happened in the last couple books. h was really whiny and not much happens, hoping the next one wraps some stuff up
Wow loving this series. Callie still fighting demons... trying to avoid the coven and the vampire council finding out about her forbidden relationship with Lucas. Also having to come to terms with knowing she is half angel and meeting more new characters! Excited to see where this will go next....does end on a cliffhanger!

I just LOVE this series! I have grown so attached to the characters; They're all amazing in their own way and I may be a bit obsessed with Callie and Lucas now.
This book was awesome, I can't get enough of the side characters, and I completely love the familiars and the latest addition to this little family. We learn much more about Callie's powers and get to see what everything is heading to. Each previous book seemed to have their own ultimate drama that arises and then defeated to have something else come up in the next book. This book, however, seems more like a lead up of what is to come from all of this. It's actually a great lead in to the overall-big-picture story. With that said, I still wish we go the minor side stories in more detail (all the parties), but I can see why Goodwin might leave that out as it wouldn't have added much to the overall storyline. I just love this series so much that I wouldn't care if it added another 100 pages in. I believe there are 2 more books in this, one coming out in 2 months and the other 2 months after that. Saying I'm excited for them is an understatement... Hopefully, I'll remember to review this before the next book comes out, so I can remind myself to re-read chapter 29 for sentimental or just chapter 30 as a refresher before reading the next book.
This series is one of my favorite of all time. I found this series when I was going through chemo and needed something to get my mind out of the world of cancer and Callie and Lucas were the medicine I needed.
Specifically about Still Of Night: You can’t help but get the feel good butterflies as Callie and Lucas’ journey continues and their love grows. I hope they stay this way because one of the things I love about them the most is how they found each other and knew that they were it for one another. They are unbreakable. I love how it’s always clear that Lucas will burn the world for Callie but in this book we start to see that Callie will become whomever she needs to become to stay by Lucas’ side. The ending was such a cruel cliffhanger!!! I got my best friend on this series and we love having a glass of wine and talking about the Thorne Hill series. We both agree that we don’t want a baby in the future books and we both agree that the steam scenes are getting awfully repetitive and redundant. I don’t want to see my favorite sexy AF couple lose some of that fire. I love getting to know Julian in this book and I love that Michael showed up when Callie needed him. I can’t wait for the next books. I know Emily will keep us at the edge of our seats but pleaseeeeee no more cliffhangers where u throw my tablet across the room. 😤
I feel like this was a filler book. Which I get, as some will be in a series.
I LOVED that Callie and Lucas got married in this one! I liked that the relationship between Callie and Abby, and Callie and Eliza got stronger. Eliza taking on the roll of wedding planner made my heart just 🥹. But oh my gosh there’s so many plot lines (which I LOVE) but I have SOOOOOOOO many questions.
The pacing of this one was off for me (maybe it’s just my attention span) but the big “battle” that happens at the climax, I felt was SUPER rushed. The same way i felt during the climax of the first book. The BIGGEST critique I have on this book tho, is the amount of grammatical and spelling errors. :/ my feelings on this book is about how I felt the whole time I read book 3, in terms of pacing and errors. But this one, unfortunately, didn’t have the WOW factor at the ending like book 3 did. Tho Miss Goodwin DID manage to hit me up the head with that plot twist!
I’m stressed, and I’m already reading Book 5 bc I’m SO freaking invested.
So onto Book 5! Callie and Lucas have me in a chokehold and I’m not complaining.

I loved this book and this series. The story line has me hooked, even though I figured out what Callie was early on. However, the spelling errors are TERRIBLE. I can give one or two because everyone makes mistakes, but there are MULTIPLE throughout the book and all books I have read so far. Not to mention she changes Easton’s sister name from Melinda in book 3 to Miranda in book 4. I gave this 3 stars for the story line and the love I feel between Callie and Lucas, but as an author making this many errors and changing a name seems very careless. Hoping to see improvement in other works and hopefully as I finish the series.
This is such a good story with great characters, nice narrative style, and plenty of romance, magic, suspense and more. It's a darned shame that the numerous technical errors, bad edits and typos don't allow this novel (and, so far, none of the novels in this series) to truly soar.
I'll give it a four-star rating just because I'm enjoying the ride, but I doubt I'll shell out any more money on subsequent novels in this series due to the overwhelming number of errors in these books. So sad...
Demons and Angels, Witches and Vampires, cats and Dogs...... it’s all in this book. Steamy lovemaking, childhood friends and a great love story. Escape into this book and relaxin the tub.
Great series. Great story. I do wish there was better editing because it's jarring to be reading and have so many grammar and spelling errors, but I can overlook that because it is such an easy story to get lost in and fully immersed in.
I'm so glad they were able to get married. I liked this story because of the way she learns more about herself. She knows her uncle is evil but she accepts his help. I'm looking forward to reading the next book when it comes out.
I enjoyed this book and would have continued with the series, but the number of misspellings and editing issues was just too overwhelming. I wish I could have fixed the errors for future readers. Other than the multiple errors, it was a fun, fast paced book.
Read all 4 books in a row. But I have to say I am not so thrilled to start with the next book. The excitement of the forst books wore off. I will first continue with a other series before I think about picking this one up again.
I have given up on this series. Boring plot...Callie is annoying...Lucas sounds gorgeous but typical vampire character... The romance scenes are now predictable and no longer steamy. I am so bored with the series that I have to walk away from it.

I tend to havea hard time getting into a series this however series makes it hard to do anything else but read it • I would 1000% recommend reading this series!!
Emily Goodwin continues to deliver! I love, love, love how much of a support system Callie has. Her friends are fantastic. I also like that Emily Goodwin dabbles more into explaining Callie's childhood and how her mental health is now.
I remember why I stopped reading this now. There is no repercussions to any damage the two mcs take and also she gets pregnant in the next one? And also the love wasn’t slow enough for me. When I think how good these books could have been if the love story was slower…. Ah.
So many laughs this series is just so great. Callie and Lucas are so right together. Maybe her blood is turning him more human. That’d be a good one! 😂 on to the next book #5. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊
Not as action packed as the last book but wildly entertaining. There is more mystery that keeps piling on to Callie and Lucas' plates but they are still hoping for a happily ever after or at least a little peace. I hope that happens soon and that Callie gets answers to all her questions. No bad.
