What the hell did we do last night?

That’s when I noticed, wrapped around the third finger of my left hand, a diamond encrusted platinum band winking in the mirror at me.

Exactly how drunk was I last night?

On the top of the dresser sat an envelope. I approached, reaching one shaky hand out to grasp it and slide out the folded paper inside. I closed my eyes for a second, before opening them, and unfolding the paper. There it was in black and white, my name, Zoe Ann De Lacy joined Ryder Adam West in holy matrimony, as of 4 o’clock this morning.

The man sleeping face down in my bed. The man I had clearly enjoyed multiple times last night, Ryder West, was my husband. I held my left hand up in front of me. At least he had good taste. The delicate rock on my finger was no Las Vegas $199 Elvis wedding special, it had to have set him back a pretty penny. 

“You coming back to bed?” A sleepy voice rumbled from somewhere among the covers in the king sized bed.

“Hmmm?” I looked away from the evidence of our marriage, noticing his broad shoulders again.

“I don’t know what the hell happened last night,” he rolled over, muscles across those shoulders and back rippling, and shaded his eyes from the weak light from the bathroom. This left a gorgeous set of six pack abs on display, and a tantalizing trail of dark hair leading south. I salivated or tried too, my mouth dry as the sahara after too much tequila. “but I need another couple hours of sleep before you tell me and I need to regret it.”

This novel had a lot of good moments, a lot of sweet moments; BUT it also had lot of just okay moments and just a sliver of the romance that the title implied. However, even though there were times when it would lull, I never pondered choosing another novel for immediately something would grab my attention again. There was always something slightly spicy or mysterious which would  reel me back in to stick by the side of this author. In the end, though, I'm glad I finished reading this novel.

This was a story with a little bit of everything: fun moments, hot moment and thriller moments. The surprise was to find the stalker’s point of view as well, which completes the picture nicely.

Both our main characters are fantastic. The dedication to their work is to be appreciated and as well how they try to find balance between cases and personal life.

Overall, I do recommend this book. You get romance, FBI & Police but as well how these two intertwine.

Always with the drama

This whole series has had drama and boy does Allison know how to write it.
I loved this book as much as the others in the series. This detective and FBI agent are meant to be from the start but you know there's going to be some crazy stuff when these 2 meet up.

Good Story

This story was good. It had more suspense/thriller than romance to me.
For some reason this one just didn't resonate with me like the previous 4 books.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more with twists and turns. Zoe and Ryder there was chemistry between them.

Just the absolute best story. It had me captivated from the beginning with the hot steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Everything I like to read about and more. Such a great story I will read again and again. A keeper!!

She went to Vegas to get married but she ended up with a different husband.........and boy was it a fantastic move!!!

I loved the books of Mason, Damon, Liam and Wilder in the Bachelors Incorporated series and I really loved Ryder. This is the story of Ryder and Zoe. Zoe went Vegas to get married to her fiance. The was only one little problem................she caught him and her best friend getting more than a little friendly before the wedding. So let's just say that the wedding is and instead Tequila can help "heal what ails ya". While she is saying hello to the worm she meets Ryder who helps distract her even more. The only issue is that there was a wedding after all. The only problem was it was to Ryder. Or so Zoe thinks when she wakes up the next morning and finds a diamond band on her ring finger and an official wedding certificate.
What started out in a drunken haze will end up taking some really funny turns but there is also danger, action and suspense as Ryder is a FBI agent with a case to solve and Zoe is a cop who might just be able to give him a hand. Plus they have explosive chemistry between them which is fantastic.
I really enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend it to other readers. Actually you should read the previous books also if you have not dipped your toe in the word of Bachelors Incorporated yet.

Bachelor's books 1-4 and Ryder

The "family" connection in these books is great. The guys, always there for each other, great, caring and the concept of being available to each of them. With Noah as the head benefactor how can they lose.
The women in their lives are so different, but all enjoy the relationship with the men who are there for them as well.
I enjoyed the read and the different plot lines.

This story started out with a bang. One visit to a coffee shop changed Ryder’s day . And poor Zoe on her wedding day also got the shock of her life, things became not so good for her especially when she thought everything in her life was going well with her career and love life but boy was she wrong.

In that day that was supposed to be her wedding day she runs into Ryder. And Ryder distracts her with a case one he was involved in and his partner. But that is not completely what this story is about their is another character a very shady one waiting for his princess. But not only that but Ryder and Zoe end up married and that’s where the real fun begins we find out that Zoe has a stalker.
This story was one action packed, surprise Vegas wedding, a cheater ex fiancé and a stalker made this story a great one.

investigation and love
Original story for a wedding in Vegas, under the effects of alcohol. The heroes are an FBI agent who consoles a former policewoman from the Las Vegas Police Department because she has just found her fiancé in the middle of a threesome. Their solution is simple: get married, even if they did not know each the other 24 hours ago.
The story is punctuated by explosions, threats, doubts, but also tenderness. I loved these two souls who meet accidentally, without really knowing that they were looking for, because, few hours ago, their future was diametrically different from what it is when they meet.
I liked that the narrator is sometimes the stalker "Prince", plunging us into his head as events unfold.

Ryder is the fifth book in the Bachelors Incorporated series. I loved this romantic suspense story about FBI agent Ryder and police officer Zoe on their road to love after their drunken Vegas wedding. Zoe and Ryder are well-developed characters, likable and relatable. The storyline is well written and engaging, with a cheating fiance, a Vegas wedding, danger, suspense, a stalker, and a steamy romance. Will they make it as a married couple or run straight to the nearest divorce court?

I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed this book. More mystery than I usually read, but I liked it. Zoe met Ryder when she went down to the bar after catching her fiance with her best friend an hour before her wedding!. They clicked and kept running into each other. She and Ryder worked together to find a bomber in Vegas and there was lots of action. The story also gave a hint about how women are treated as cops when most of their collegues are men. Also how the FBI doesn't value the police enough. Good story

I can't recommend this book highly enough. There is a real and engaging plot over and above the romance. Zoe catches her fiance cheating just before her wedding, so the wedding is off. She runs off, and meets Ryker and the pair of them drown er sorrows. The next morning they wake up married. Can Zoe get her job as a detective back and what will it be like working with her FBI husband?

I will be looking for all the books this author has read.

This was a definite must read by Allison LaFleur! Zoe and Ryder had amazing chemistry . Zoe met Ryder on what should have been her wedding day. However, when she walks in on her fiancé with her best friend, she winds up in the casino bar. Imagine their shock when after a night of drinking they wake up married. Now Zoe and Ryder will work together to solve the mystery of the serial bomber that killed his partner. Zoe will also have to deal with her stalker. This was a great action packed read that will have reading to the very last page!

Zoe and Ryder are about to have their lives changed in ways neither expected. Zoe doesn't need the man who she caught up to no good and was supposed to marry, fate had other ideas. Ryder is all the man she could ever dream of.

These two don't have a typical romance, they need the surprises, mystery and jolts that have you on the edge of your seat. Lots going on so you will get hooked and unable to put the book away. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

Ryder and Zoe are a hot couple, even if they really don’t know each other. Zoe has a stalker who is also involved in other criminal activity. This book five In the Bachelor Incorporated Series and Ryder was mentored by Noah as a youth. Good story with lots of danger, suspense, and hot scenes. The characters were vivid and memorable. Good read!

This book started with a little heartbreak when Zoe finds out about her cheating fiance. It then turns to humor when she wakes up the morning after married to FBI Agent Ryder. From there, it's non stop suspense as the two work to stop a serial arsonist bomber fixated on Zoe. The book was great and I loved the characters. Couldn't put it down.

I love this book! The atmosphere, chemistry, danger and deceitful people makes this a great book to read. This is my first book by this author and she has me hooked. She makes me want to find and read the rest of the series to see what happens to rest of the Bachelors Incorporated. I highly recommend this book.

OMG I just completed reading Ryder's story and like all of the others in this series LOVED IT.
Yes he is a Alpha male to the first letter. Yes once more the female is great and can hold her own. Great new characters that I hope she make more books with them.

Loved this book, it was fun, action packed, romantic, and intriging.
A cheating fiance, a canceled wedding, start this adventure as Zoe'so life changes. I want to say so much but don't want to spoil any of it.

This is a nice addition to the "Bachelors Incorporated" stories. This is a touch different from the other stories but very addictive and just as good. The stories starts off on the run and completely sucks you in with action, entertainment, stalkers and a cheating ex. Ryder and Zoe are great together. Love the twist, turns and surprises in this story.

Author continues to bring us wonderful stories. Ryder has no idea how much his life is going to change when he meets Zoe in a hotel bar. Loved the chemistry between these two characters.

Overhaul the story is ok even if the all arsonists motive and execution is a bit over there. The characters are a little to self center. But it still entertaining to read.
