M/M erotica.
I liked the first collection more.
This one also had 3 short stories but all set in 1955.

Fog city temptation is about a bi racial encounter. We only get 2 scenes of a soldiers role playing. I didn’t like how it became insta-love or some of the weird phrasing like ‘fun button’.

Hollywood Heartthrob as it implies involves a famous actor who is a jerk in bed. Not a happy story.

Deep Release is about a naive religious virgin learning about sex in the most ridiculous and unlikely way. Then jumps to loose his virginity during an M/M/M threesome with at least one stranger. It was steamier than the other stories but the official/respectable medical talk was kinda ridiculous.

It is still good erotica but the other collections are definitely better.

Great Stories

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. There was explicit man on man sex plus romance and loving intimacy between men. I would highly recommend Nathan Bay add an author.

I liked the first collection better but this was okay enough to hold my interest. Waiting for #3 so they weren't all bad, just not as impactful or memorable as the first three stories.

This is three different stories and each completely held my attention. They are three totally different situations and each brought out a complete different emotion in me. The downside of this is when I finished I wanted more. Since I’m a person with little patience waiting for the next book seems torture since I’m in the mindset of the bathhouse stories now.
All the stories have explicit sex and are very sexy. All play on making me want more. All the characters are very realistic.
Fog City Temptation:
This story brings together two totally different guys. Charles is a fisherman. Ricky is a soldier. After their initial get together Charles hopes for more but Ricky explains that it just won’t work. They are two men in 1955. They are different colors. They also come from different worlds. Then Ricky leaves. But the reason they get back in touch is sad. The resolution to their differences is heartwarming even though they face noting but obstacles. The secondary character Lenny adds so much to the story. He is totally a stand out personality. He actually begs for his own story.
Hollywood Heartthrob:
This story broke my heart. It reminds me of so many people from 1955 that lived a life that was anything but honest. The actor explains he never has sex with another more than once. He feels strongly for Rex because he says he likes the way Rex is open and free. He just can’t give up everything to have it. The last time they are together the actor finds out Rex’s favorite flower. This stands out because even though they never meet up again the actor sends flowers to Rex every year for over thirty years. The actor gets married to a woman but it doesn’t work out. Rex seems to have found someone but it is never explained. Yet Rex thinks now and again about getting in touch with the actor but he doesn’t. When he finally decides the time has come he finds the actor has died. There is no hea or hfn but this story is great. It is thought provoking and even though I don’t know how things were really in 1955 I think the author did a great job of giving me an idea of the lack of freedom people had. There is so much to this story and it will remain with me for quite awhile. I think this is the story I liked the best.
Deep Release:
This story really took me by surprise. The idea of a guy so inexperienced surprised me. The way he resolves his lack of knowledge is sexy enough to make anyone squirmy. To go from innocence to experienced is quite a trip for Thomas to take. The author did a great job of explaining Thomas’s background. Lack of a father, how he grew up Catholic, the way people around him identified sex or the lack of all lead to him searching out Dr Doyle and learning. The only thing I had a problem is I can’t let go of a story when I don’t get to me what is a ending. I feel there is so much more to be told about Thomas and Bobby but the author did a great job of this story for the multi story book it is.

There are three stories and each one is set in a different city in California. In "Fog City Temptation" the descriptions are so vivid it made me wish I was there, just not in 1955. It made me so sad and angry how people of color and/or gay men were treated back then. It just made me ache for Ricky and Charles. But the ending did make me smile. In "Hollywood Heartthrob" I bet you can guess who that heartthrob is... I wanted Rex & his secretive man to be together so bad, but I will let you find out how that story ends. And the last story is "Deep Release" and all I'm going to say about that one is that Catholics can be so messed up in their beliefs, and the guilt is horrible!! It can really mess with a gay man's mind! In conclusion these stories will tug on your heartstrings, make you laugh out loud and get so angry you wish you could do something to change history!!! And the sex, oh man, the scorching hot sex will make you squirm in your seat and want to take frequent breaks, but you won't want to put the book down long enough to scratch that itch. I definitely recommend this book and urge you to one-click as soon as possible. You'll want to dive in right away!! Enjoy!!

I loved this second bundle set of Bathhouse Confessions set in the 50's. It was interesting to see how being gay back then was compared to now. I loved story of the soldier and how a chance encounter led to being soulmates. The actor story was sad for me. No one should have to hide. The young boy discovering his sexuality just about set my tablet on fire. Medical trope is becoming a fast favorite for me. Loved this bundle better than the first. Highly recommend this series and would love more. Nathan has a way of drawing you into the story and making you feel like your a part of it all. I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for leaving an honest and unbiased review.

These three stories describe good, simple, deep, and meaningful sex between men. The first of the trilogy was my favorite: a love story between a black man and white man, with a solid, happy ending (double-meaning pun not intended—well, maybe). The second and third stories were a little less believable but good, all the same. Nathan Bay certainly knows how to describe sex; I found his phrases for semen to be charming: "white gold", "pearl liquid". Although the stories are ultimately about sex, underlying each one is love between two people: wanting love and being loved. Bay's writing is solid and descriptive, and he's adept at interweaving intimacy, desire, and raw sex.

No One Does Smut Like Nathan

Nathan knows how to get you hot and bothered and also hit you in the feels. Each of these stories were so hot and the perfect length for a quick read. And even though they aren’t long stories, they still leave a lasting impression. I can’t wait to read more from Nathan!

I didn't really care for the second story about the famous Hollywood actor, and the first story seemed quite similar in places to the first story in the first anthology, but the third story made up for the weaknesses in the first two. All were well written, but the third was something special, playful and fabulously filthy at the same time. It's worth buying the book just for that one!

Mesmerizing

This was one of those reads that you start and can’t put down until you’re finished. Oddly enough, I saw myself in the character and experienced something very similar as I was finding my sexual identity. This was a great read from the beginning to the end.

Thank you

Terrific collection which was so red hot I had to fan myself! loved the fact they were set in 1955 when times were so much different. Great characters made this an engrossing and entertaining read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.

Not the same old same old

I hate the stale porn verbiage so common in gay lit-- the throbbing manhood and all that crap. This author seems to have a healthy imagination and the skill to write believable prose that still tittilates. This, for me, is a rare find. Thanks so much!!!
