5 come back for more stars!! This is one of my top ten reads of 2019!!!
This is the first book in the “Devil’s Deviants” series and damn did it leave an impression!! It ends in one hell of a cliffhanger and I can not wait for the next book!!
So I was so given this amazing chance to beta read this book and I was in awe. Even it’s “beta copy” is like gold. I think this book is just what every “bad ass” lover needs.
C.M. Allen has a few books under her belt and is trying to really make
a name for herself and I think this book/series will do just that!! This is a MUST read for all you MC lovers!!
Maverick is what wet dreams are made of and the rest of the crew ain’t too shabby. But the connection between Maverick and Harper is HOT!! Yes she is a good girl but she is not one of those uppity ones that ends up on my nerves, I fucking adore this chick!!
The author drew you in and tied you up for the ride. There was no escaping, I literally got shit done today because I had to run back and get some more. The depth of this crew and how much I love these guys is incredible. And let’s not forget our little firecracker Ava. Yes ma’am she is a female savage and I can’t wait to find out more about her. Really there are so many stories happening in this one story that I am fucking stoked to read more about them. My favorite part of this book is all the unknown I am like giddy waiting for this series to unfold. I know we have something crazy about to go down with Harper’s family!!!! And let me say even the dirtbags in this book are so perfectly laid out. I hate them 100%. This series is going to take us on a ride ladies and gents so hold on tight!!!

It took me days to read this book which tells me that I wasn't invested. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the dual, overlapping POV. The redundant, overlapping info from different points of view had me skimming a lot of this book. I also don't like that this POV is from 4 different people. I'm sure there was a way to tell this story without making me go through the head of Skull and Dekes.
The sex scenes were hot sometimes but I couldn't get a handle on Harper. One minute she's a stuttering, scared mess, the next she's a confrontational mess and then a screaming banshee mess.
I am going to read the second book to see how it turns out but I have a feeling, it's going to be a speed read/skim to the end.

Cliffhanger soap opera
If you like soap operas with dramatic and crazy twists and turns this works. I'm not such a fan. Difficult to follow who's doing what and why. Drama over the top. Then it ends in a cliffhanger. I really wish authors would inform you of cliffhangers. The fact that no other reviewers to date have notified of a cliffhanger also indicates they're paid or friends of the author. Writing was good, character development was ok lots of emotional behaviors with no background so that was a bit much. Not my cup of tea.

I was given this book in return for an honest review and it was definitely worth the read. C.M.Allen truly knows how to capture her audience and this book makes you want to just keep reading more. Page after page is filled with excitement and suspense and the ending is jam packed with imaginable scenery. The characters really begin to come to life and Maverick himself will just make you melt. Definitely going to be reading more from this author!

Both he and Harper have been through so much before coming into each other’s lives, definitely meant to be together. Saddle up folks, 🔥🔥🔥 MC series in the making, great start and cannot wait for more!!!

November 5, 2019I just could not put this book down. Every character was so detailed that I was able to see everything play out in my head. This amazing author captivated my attention and had me entertained. I love that there is more than one person's story involved. This is not a typical read, it's definitely different and I absolutely loved it. I'm so excited for more stories. Seriously a must read.

WOW, I was given the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest opinion. This book is really great. It has so many twists and turns and it keeps you guessing. The love scenes are HOT!! Once you start reading it’s going to be hard to put it down.

I was given the chance to read this book for my honest feedback. This book is just amazing! Once you start you just can’t set it down!!! The characters interact perfectly and the cliffhanger OMG! I just can’t wait for the next book. Best book I read so far!

Omg how can it end like this I need answer like yesterday I couldn’t put this book down I am a huge fan of mc stories and this one didn’t disappoint I love the alpha man that maverick is his love for Harper will know no boundaries he will search to the end of the earth for her

Maverick and Harper
This is my first time reading this author and recommended by a friend. Maverick's suffered quite a bit of loss with his family and girlfriend, and was leary of getting involved with Harper, but the heart wants what it wants.
Harper has suffered her own family loss and was also leary of getting involved with Maverick, mainly because she didn't think she was good enough for him.
The story was a good one and going to read the next one, because this is a cliffhanger and you definitely want to see what happens next.
There were some editing issues throughout, but it doesn't take away from the story. Happy reading!!

I expected more deviancy ...
I mean, they’re not saints, but I genuinely expected more deviancy. Dekes needs a little more work to be a supervillain. I’m not sure how his plot has even gotten this far. He’s a real Deeeeeeeeeeeeek.
Harper is a too stupid to live heroine, you know the type. So far, she’s managed to survive herself. Book one ends in a cliffhanger going into book 2 now to see how she gets out of this snafu.
