Unfortunately, I pretty much hated everything about this book.
Now, I'm not sure if all MC books are like this, but the misogyny was sickening to me. It made me want to punch things.
I sort of knew I'd made a mistake picking this up when Luna (the main character) sees a dog being mistreated in the opening pages and, rather than call animal services or whatever, she decides to get some wire cutters and steal the dog. She then gets chased down by the owner and one of his lackeys, who just happens to be high up in a Motorcycle club. After getting bitch slapped by the lackey (thankfully he's not in the future Harem) the other guys hoists her up over his shoulder, slaps her ass to make her shut up and proceeds to take her to his club house and president where she is told she has to stay for 30 days as punishment for stealing their dog.
If it sounds ridiculous it's because it fucking is. She's just like "okay then" and then the insta love from that moment on.
She is treated so badly by some of the guys, or they allow it to happen. Just because you fuck about in a leather jacket does not make it okay to be a misogynistic douche and think you can fucking allow a girl you supposedly like to be hit unconscious and dragged back to the MC club house she left, then sit back and allow your president to strip her naked and lock her in a cold cell. But it's supposed to b eokay because he didn't think she'd be in there long and he thought someone would come let her out quickly because it was just stopping her running off. Then, just because he takes her out of the cell and takes her to his bed to warm her up she's suddenly okay with it and having sex with him?
What the actual fuck? I wanted to repeatedly bang my head against a wall.
At this point I was around 50% and was going to give up. But one of the awesome RHR ladies told me something cool happens around 70% and she was right, it does.
However, it was not cool eniugh to mitigate my previous disgust and, more importantly, just because Luna gained respect as a woman (because if the cool thing I won't spoil) I felt like, if she didn't have this thing, then nothing would have changed. Therefore, it's cool to treat women like that, unless you're like Luna and have this cool thing?
I will never understand why some women find reading about men mistreating women sexy.
I feel bad leaving such a negative review, and maybe I am just super intolerant of these things, as lots of people seemed to like it. But this book did just make me rage, unfortunately.

The attitudes of the men in this book will require me to test my blood pressure after finishing this! I've read quite a bit of mc romances but I've got to admit these are some of the worst attitudes I've ever come across. Even the H's spout some shit that makes me want to de-ball them!!!
What's saving this (so far) from a major one star fuck everyone rant is the h. This bitch is my kinda bitch!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh I want to know her irl!!!!! Yes yes there's been a couple of incidents where she still went to bed with them but so far?...... She's a badass and I love her!!!

No he wasn't arrested or in a coma.....his club business went on long and he thought someone else would've let her out! After all she was ONLY supposed to be there for an hour!!!! You know what's the absolute worst part.....she proceeds to fuck him!!!

This really annoyed me. Why? Well a quickie as to why; 1)insta love 2) main female does that really annoying "accidentally" talks aloud 3) group of bikers are just super soft with this woman they know a day 4) insta love 5)insta trust 6) annoying as fuck main 7) Did I mention break neck insta feelings?!?!?!
A lot of insta going on here and I hate it when the main is just loved straight away... Right the characters have known eachother less that 24 hours...
Also the talking out loud thing?! Nope.

Luna is a complete badass. Women really need to stop being underestimated all the time.
The Queen of Carnage all starts off with a dog sort of being stolen. As to why it happens, well the dog was getting the shit kicked out of it by some douchebag. So yeah, Luna had every right of rescuing this dog from abuse. What she got out of that was something she probably never expected.
I really liked the dynamic between Luna and the guys. Even if this whole barbaric MC gang was way out of line 100% of the time. They needed to realize what year it was and what loyalty and respect actually is. Boy did they deserve the swift kick to their nutsack, repeatedly.
Besides Gage, Orion, and Halo she also had an awesome support system. Enter Megan and her two brothers - Oz and Zig. They are completely devoted to one another and that is their family. They will always protect each other and be there when the shit storms rolls through. Which happened a lot in this book.
Then there's the romance, which I loved. Even if Gage took a while to get that stick surgically removed from his ass. This book also had a crap ton of betrayal - a lot more than I was expecting to be honest. Which made this book even harder to put down - which yeah, I fell asleep while reading it. I couldn't help it!
In the end, I'm so excited for Megan's story! I always wondered about the crew she came from and why no one did anything. Yet, the ending showed that no one really knew what was happening with the past Pres and VP. So yeah, sign me up for the next book guys!

Not a fan of RH because the character development always sucks. The fmc Luna says a lot how Badass she is but she sure gets kidnapped a lot. Also what’s with these H’s that are in instalove with her and they let her get punched in the face, and bashed in the back of the head with a bleeding wound then stripped naked and locked In A cold damp cellar with only a pee bucket. She’s throwing up, hallucinating, passing out, has a horrible headache but as soon as one of the H’s who kidnapped her takes her out of the cellar she just forgives him and champions him. Dude she could have died or had brain damage and her wound was still bleeding but he doesn’t check it for hours. These are some sucky dudes to be in instalove with.

The most outrageous RH story... but still had me hooked.
Luna finds a dog being abused & decides to rescue it. Somehow getting captured by the MC that owns the dog & has to stay there for a month to make up for it. The MC has a law where they only have an old lady in groups of two or more. & Luna's real job... just what?! There were some hints of insta love in this one but I kept ready because I was just sucked in to the whole ridiculousness of it!
Good steam factor though on this one... one of the main reasons I even kept on with the book lol!!

Now that's what I'm talking about!! Whew, this was a book that held me captive from the beginning to the very end!! Candice, you have outdone yourself girl. I must say I'm quite impressed with your writing skills and storytelling. I think you just got yourself a new fangirl.

Super cheesy
I made it through about 20% of this book and was in pain the entire time hoping it would get better. The inner monologue and dialogue are just sooooo cheesy it was ridiculous. It’s also laughable that a biker gang is against hitting women but then 2 pages later is holding the same woman hostage . Ridiculous. Don’t waste your time

Where Are all the five stars coming from?!
This book is by far one of the worst I’ve read in a long time. I’m guessing all the high ratings came from middle schoolers because this was awful. Absolutely no world building, no character depth, 5 seconds in and boom insta love. The immaturity was screaming from the pages. Do not waist your time.

This book is EVERYTHING!
Well I cant believe I waited so long to read this. I was missing out for sure. This was epic! I fell on love with Luna and the guys. I will say I didnt see half of that coming so that makes this a great book all on it's own. I cannot wait to read about Viper and Zero as I kinda fell in love with them as well! Ugh and I need more of Oz and Ziggy! I just need more!

I’m more than capable of taking care of myself. My guys are my family, we live together, joke together, and mourn together. It’s what families do.”
I am going to give this author a benefit of the doubt and accept that the shaky start to this book was on purpose because that beginning really sucked. But having read the whole book I feel like it might have been intentional for readers to underestimate the FMC and make the Kings of Carnage look or sound like a joke of a club. If that wasn’t on purpose, it was really lucky that it worked out, for me anyway. But on the same breath, if it was on purpose, it was a risky move because that start was really off putting and I can imagine a whole lot of readers who don’t have patience to wait for a book to get its act together and would DNF it without thinking twice, that’s me on most days.
But believe me, once the gloves are off and the action starts it doesn’t stop. The chaos and the carnage in this book is multi-layered and our FMC is front and centre of everything. I love how she doesn’t take shit from anyone, nobody sees her coming and her boys are just as dumbfound as everyone when they realise that she is a force to be reckoned with on her own right. I also love how she maintains her character throughout the book, even though I didn’t like her at the beginning. She doesn’t wake up one day and becomes a serious-no-joke GI Jane / MMA fighter, but she stands on her own, all while she continues to be her somewhat irritating self, but that quirkiness of hers grew on me and I ended up looking forward to her making inappropriate jokes at inopportune times.
I can’t wait for book 2 but on a plus side, there is no cliffhanger just possibility for more.

I genuinely loved this book. I had a bit of an eye roll with the whole insta love thing🙄 but to be honest it didn’t bother me as the book was so good. Luna is so bloody funny. don’t read it while you’re drinking a hot cuppa tea, you’ll only choke on it & make it come through your nose👌🏼 The characters were awesome, the plot was awesome & I Loved, Loved, Loved every page of it. ❤️❤️ “You and what Army?” Best line ever 😂😂😂

The leading lady is hysterical and a badass, she made me laugh out loud loads in this book!
The bikers are hot, possessive, protective and lovable!
I got stomped myself from characters I loved to feeling betrayed by them and then characters I didn’t like ended up feeling empathy for them!
If you like a MC, RH hot book, written at a fast pace with lots of drama, then this is for you!
I like this author so much that even though book two is no longer Luna’s story I can’t wait to read it!

DNF at 21%
One star for the unique MC and Humor.

Ugh im so frustrated right now. I love the FMCs energy, I love her character. I HATE that she won’t stick up for herself and her independent nature and she bends to the MC’s so quickly bc they make her horny. No. Just no. Trading independence, a mind of her own and freedom for lady blue balls?
example scene; FMC leaves compound to do errands for her work (no threats against her in the story so far). She is forced to be followed by two Mc members. Alpha lover boy didn’t know she left, calls Mc members to bring her back to compound. She gets mad (sorta) and claims to have independence. He picks her up (because he is stronger and alpha male) ignoring her protests. Kisses her stupid in their room, effectively shutting her up about her wants/independence. Alpha lover boy is called away. FMC stays in room like he says, but its because she is “horny” and needs a nap (even though its still morning and she is missing work and errands). This is the scene where I decided to DNF.
The fact that the MC lover forced her to go back home when she left without telling him, picks then he leaves her in the room, expecting her to stay even though she had plans and she DOES stay because she is horny and takes a nap.
Bowing down to her new master disgusted as a lover. Her so called independence is now a joke. Especially since she has a gps on her allowing her brothers to know where she is constantly. I’m sorry author, but you cant claim FMC to be strong and independent and show the exact opposite. A few witty remarks and half-hearted protests isn’t convincing anyone.
Also, she turned on the gps so her brothers knew where she was (at the club) yet they never show up? Even though last time it was on (as told) they came right away. Now 2 days later, still at the compound with the gps on and they never show or call? Even though being at the compound is something she has never done before? She could be in danger at the MC and her so called brothers aren’t checking up? Another example of claiming a characters personality to be one thing, but showing the opposite.
I want to know the plot, I want to see how the story develops. As much as it kills a little part of me with those unanswered questions, I can’t keep reading.

Ugh im so frustrated right now. I love the FMCs energy, I love her character. I HATE that she won’t stick up for herself and her independent nature and she bends to the MC’s so quickly bc they make her horny. No. Just no. Trading independence, a mind of her own and freedom for lady blue balls?
example scene; FMC leaves compound to do errands for her work (no threats against her in the story so far). She is forced to be followed by two Mc members. Alpha lover boy didn’t know she left, calls Mc members to bring her back to compound. She gets mad (sorta) and claims to have independence. He picks her up (because he is stronger and alpha male) ignoring her protests. Kisses her stupid in their room, effectively shutting her up about her wants/independence. Alpha lover boy is called away. FMC stays in room like he says, but its because she is “horny” and needs a nap (even though its still morning and she is missing work and errands). This is the scene where I decided to DNF.
The fact that the MC lover forced her to go back home when she left without telling him, picks then he leaves her in the room, expecting her to stay even though she had plans and she DOES stay because she is horny and takes a nap.
Bowing down to her new master disgusted as a lover. Her so called independence is now a joke. Especially since she has a gps on her allowing her brothers to know where she is constantly. I’m sorry author, but you cant claim FMC to be strong and independent and show the exact opposite. A few witty remarks and half-hearted protests isn’t convincing anyone.
Also, she turned on the gps so her brothers knew where she was (at the club) yet they never show up? Even though last time it was on (as told) they came right away. Now 2 days later, still at the compound with the gps on and they never show or call? Even though being at the compound is something she has never done before? Honestly this is not the book i was thinking it was when i started reading it. Biker RH books usually bring on ideas (only to me) of rough, alpha types and meek women they're trying to dominate. Yeah this book has plenty of alpha types but what it also has is a wise-cracking, smart-arsed and badass female lead character. Luna is absolutely brilliant. She had me literally crack up throughout this book and her way of not taking any crap from any of the bikers made me love her even more. Add to that the interactions with Halo, Orion and Gage. Blimey those three are smoking hot and even funny too. Just bloody loved this book. Please tell me theres more books coming? Like maybe a book for megan, Priest and Bates oh and Lunas brothers?? God i hope so. You can count me in to read those if there is

RE-READ THOUGHTS
Okay, I had to bump up my rating after this re-read, because I enjoyed it a whole lot more this time around! I guess it helped knowing how the story went. Everything clicked and made much more sense than when I first read it. It’s still hot, action-packed, surprising, completely unpredictable! I love the women of the series, especially with how badass they are, and Lune is at the very top. She’s the Queen of Carnage, after all.
FIRST-TIME READING
Man, this book was hot! I wasn’t a fan of the insta-love, but once the plot got going in, it got good. I do think there were a lot of unnecessary plot-lines. I loved everything from the 80% mark til the end. It got real action-packed. And seeing how badass Luna is, I just wanted her as my best friend. Plus, she is freaking hilarious! I cannot wait to start Megan’s story!

Well ... I guess I remember now, why I normally don't pick up Biker books.
THE MISOGYNY IS STRONG IN THESE ONES.
I just don't want to spend 85 % of a book angry and disgusted, even if the other 15 are entertaining. Dick is seriously not worth that shit.
The FMC is supposed to be a strong character and there were hints were you can see that, but putting up with the rest of the behaviour and problematic situations made her really really small. That combined with the fact that the books starts with her TSTL behaviour and refuses to picture her three men as different characters - seriously I only know that one of them has a Monster snake in his trousers, besides that they were basically one and the same Person - made this a rather drab read.

Amazing,intricate,convoluted and twisted storytelling!
For all of y'all that complain about weak,pushover heroines....Luna is the answer and the lead of your dreams.Not only is she an intelligent ,kick ass fem fatale ....but she is loyal,kind and loving .She is a warrior extraordinaire...one with a conscience ! She is not only physically mighty,but emotionally and ethically as well.
This is steamy reverse harem MC tale,but with so much more than meets the eye.It's best to go in blind and experience the wild topsy turvy for your self.I paused at 76% to share my thoughts...so I'm off to finish this unique ,compelling experience\saga. Candice Wright is most definitely a new favorite author !

Imagine a fairytale, a biker romance, and a soap opera all piled into one book. Then add in a dash of Kill Bill, a splash of mysogyny, and a pint of chauvinism. That's what this was but I couldn't stop reading it. It was a skim read for me because everything was so OTT, but it was entertaining. 3 stars!

Fantastic Read!
This is a fantastic MC RH Romance. It has a unique storyline filled with sexiness, action, intrigue, and plenty of twists, turns, and surprises that keep you guessing. And let’s not forget the characters, they are amazing! I cannot wait to read the next book and I would absolutely recommend this one!

Not for me. She's an obnoxious, spoiled sounding girl who has 3 possessive Biker guys crazy about her. This book was immature and annoying long. The union was also instant and unbelievable.
Narration lacked... so I would skip them.
