Hopelessly Devoted

Rate this book
Chrystal moved to California to start a new life with her mom, and to get away from her troubled past.

There, she made 2 friends- Scarlett and Savannah, and her life finally began to become normal again.

But her life completely changed when she met the school's sexy, notorious jackass, Ashton Monroe.. and his pack of asswipes.

She loathed Ashton, and the feeling was mutual.

But the line separating love and hate is a very thin one. And oftentimes, when two people hate each other, it can grow into much more.

Hopeless devotion, if you will...

I started this book with the goal to read some smut :))
But let me tell you one thing this book surprised me with every aspect. I loved the way I had the opportunity to try and imagine what problems the main character had before it was revealed in this book. Like that I had the feeling I was living in this book as an extra character but at the same time in Crystal herself. (If that makes sense hahahaha). The main character Crystal is such a sweetheart, but so are the rest of the characters. I sat a total of 10 minutes to think of a negative aspect the book has. The only thing I found was, that I had the feeling Crystals and Ashtons love is "too perfect". For example: Justin kissed her - Ashton just accepted it and moved on. I'd also love to have some more of girls trying to steal Ash from Crystal since he's popular. But thats just some minor points my perfectionist ass has.
All in all it was a pleasure to read this book and I will 100% reread it in the future.

(P.S. I had to wait a bit for the smut but it didn't disappoint. Especially that one kinky scene :)) )

I love the sharing their trauma with eachother trope. Where are these schools with really hot friendly guys because I'm looking to move? Do I need to pick up biology to be partnered with my future boyfriend?

One of the best books on Wattpad. Really enjoyed reading it and couldn’t get enough.

I love how the author didn’t over-exaggerate with drama between the couple. They didn’t keep breaking up and making up just for it to happen again, and they didn’t keep cheating or making each other jealous and really being toxic or unhealthy with their feelings and each other.

The author found different ways to keep the book interesting and create problems, focusing on other aspects in life that can come between the couple and themselves and create a bit of drama. There are other wats to keep the reader wanting to read and the author did a great job!

I really hope this books gets a physical release. Worth reading!

If the stars don't tell you if I liked this book or not, you need glasses cause I FUCKING LOVED IT. Crystals life is way far from perfect, ok? It kinda makes you want to have problems in life so then maybe a 6 foot guy with blue ocean eyes and a grumpy cocky attitude would just bump into me (iykyk). But you have to keep telling yourself, it's a book. *Sigh* I enjoyed the emotional bond growth between Ashton and Crystal. When they felt like they couldn't really share their feelings outloud, they were there for each other. Definitely recommend this series, and yes, there are trigger warnings, but the author puts the warning at the beginning of the chapters so dw! Also, the smut. Damnnn. Loved it.
