She is a contributor to the award-winning Life’s Spices From Seasoned Sistahs anthology series, Go Tell Michelle: African American Women Write To The New First Lady, All The Women In My Family Sing and is the author of an ebook serial novel Jubilee’s Journey. Unveiled, released in July 2019 and described as a “page turner” is her first full-length novel. La Rhonda is currently working on her next book.

Normally, I am not a reader of mystery novels, but a friend recommended it, and some of the initial descriptions and language/writing so captivated me, I read through to the very devastating end. No spoilers here, just a recommendation to pick up the book. Not only will it provide an intriguing read, if not from Louisiana, will give you a glimpse into a different part of the country and our culture.

This is a Great read ...I couldn’t put it down. It had the all the right components of a good book .The end blew me away .I loved it. Don’t know if it’s a stand alone or if Morgan and Cj are going to come across more jambalaya!!

I have not read a murder mystery in many years. It’s clearly not a genre I am drawn to. This book, however, may have changed that. I truly appreciated the author’s ability to develop characters, particularly the heroine, and capture the reader’s interest. This is a page turner. I didn’t want to put it down, even when I was reading it on a tropical vacation with many outdoor activities to enjoy (snorkeling, swimming, etc). I highly recommend it.

I really enjoy the story couldn't put it down. I was so interested in what was going to happen next. a must read. I enjoyed the mystery and was so surprised by her mom.

If you like suspenseful reads and a surprise ending then you will love this book as much as I did.
