Mycroft has had nightmares for as long as he can remember. Logically he assumes it started around the time he began to understand Eurus’ psychosis, but he can’t remember sleeping particularly restfully before then. There are times when he doesn’t dream at all for a day or two, which is why it takes him a week to notice the nightmares have stopped. (creature!fic)
