This book is full of mystery and suspense, a legal thriller in all sense.
The story deals with a criminal lawyer fighting to get justice for his sister who committed suicide after being sexually exploited by a billionaire's son. Also the new angle comes when the son goes missing and entire suspect is on the deceased brother as he is understandably full of vengeance. The tale goes through various twists and turns and reaches its befitting conclusion. In this book , the author has bound the thriller with some extreme real life issues - corruption in law system and sensitive topics . And it makes the book unique !The author has written the novel in such a way that the suspense of the story is kept intact till the end. The interaction between the characters was so natural that I felt I knew them all. Once the pace of the story sets in its difficult to leave the book. A must read book for everyone.
Rating. A good light read .

How To Kill A Billionaire is a Crime-Thriller.
I always get excited when two Genres are produced together and I anticipate a MASTERPIECE because I have read such books that have completely moved me to my core!

The structure of the story is unique and I am glad that this book contributed to these genres as a part of Indian Literature. It is quite hard to find good authors who write such novels that make readers go gaga over the text.
The story is not something that will give you thunders out of the blue. The story keeps unfolding with the proceeding further of the chapters. And that's why I liked the book. Although, I would have loved some shocks, this suited me well because I was engrossed throughout the book! I would not call this book heavily character driven but the author has done a good job in terms of explaining the peculiarities of the narratives.

The genre shifted a little to Crime Drama when courtroom drama was involved but this was highly entertaining. I just wished the book was edited properly and that's why I was a little dissatisfied. The explanations in some parts were unnecessary that is why I recommended editing the novel very thoroughly!

Otherwise, a quick, gripping read.

BOOK REVIEW
How to Kill a Billionaire by Rajesh Talwar
Billionaire Amit Patel goes missing and all eyes turn towards the lawyer who threatened to kill. What seems like an open and shut case, when taken to court takes an unexpected route.

What first hooked me to the book is its narration. Apparently, it is called dramatic monologue narration and the author has beautifully done justice to this format from beginning to end of the book. There is underline smugness about the protagonist along with repressed anger and it is brought out very well.

Indian legal system isn't one of my strong points. However, no tedious jargon has been used to confuse the readers. It was all very effectively and eloquently written. I found myself enjoying every tidbit about working of courts and cases. Background story of all individuals was very real and convincing.

It isn't really very hard to guess what could have happened. After a few chapters, you get a hold of where the plot is heading. However, the narration, the commitment that I formed as a reader with the character was so strong that I was compelled to keep turning the pages to know the end.

This book has really sparked my curiosity towards legal crime thrillers and I deem it one of the interesting reads of the month.

'How to kill a billionaire' is a different type of book than what I expected it to be. It is most recommended for lawyers or students who are aspiring to become one. It somehow shows more about Indian Constitution, it's flaws, loopholes, and more about a brother who took revenge on his lovable sister's death.

The narrator begins the story introducing Lord Patel and how much a great person he is. Indeed, a very rich man! But his son was lost and he wasn't sure if he was alive or not. All his doubts are in the narrator and he issued a case against him but that the narrator is an experienced lawyer and issuing a case against him in the same court he works won't work in a way he thought. The proceedings of the case and the way he tackles them is visibly brilliant and that shows how much the author has acquainted with the law.

The parts that explained him seeing his sister, who was raped, and the later scenes that explained his ways of revenge, were shocking. The writing style is so good. Written in first person narrative, a tone is followed throughout the book.

Recommended for people who has an interest in law.

A tricky thing about having such catchy titles is that it's hard to do justice with the content, but this book successfully lives up to the title.

It is the story of a lawyer practicing at Thirty thousand courts ( Yes! The famous Tis Hazari for Dilli-walas😁)

His young and beautiful sister( a faculty at the University of Delhi) commits suicide and the brother believes that Amit Patel, the son of Lord Patel- an influential billionaire, is behind the gruesome rape and crime.

Amit's dearest friend is found dead and Amit goes missing, making Lord Patel file a case against the protagonist.

The lawyer represents himself in the court and tries to fight the case against all odds. Will he be able to avenge the wrong done to his sister or will he be crushed by the power of money and the corrupt Indian legal system? To know these answers, grab your copy!

🌼My views 🌼

The writing style is what made the book unputdownable for me. It could have easily become a heavy read with all the legal jargon, but the author has done a commendable job in keeping it entertaining.

I would highly recommend this one to someone who loves reading crime-fiction, thrillers, and court-room dramas.

Creator Rajesh Talwar's most recent anecdotal work 'How to Kill A Billionaire' investigates the dull, puzzling and covered up universe of wrongdoing and how it utilizes the Indian equity framework to fill their need. In reality as we know it where individuals with influence and cash makes and defies the guidelines and endeavor the provisos in our equity framework to do every one of the criminal operations, it's turns out to be extremely difficult to envision that an individual hailing from the lower or working class foundation can really get the equity he/she merits. Yet, imagine a scenario where that individual is a legal counselor himself who knows how to the framework work and chooses to wage a conflict against individuals in power. At that point this entire game takes a fascinating turn, correct?

The story starts with the tycoon Daulat Ram Laxmi Patel whose child Amit Patel is missing. As the police chooses to reveal the secret behind the vanishing they find some truly upsetting realities that will shake you deeply. To realize what occurs next you have tp go through this energizing work.

The primary thing that I preferred about this work is the plot and character development. I preferred the way that the demeanor of anticipation was available all through the story. Taking everything into account, its straightforward however captivating and the occasions follow a legitimate succession. By and large, it was a pleasant perused.

A wonderfully weaved gripping thriller based extensively on corruption in and around courts. the story starts with the tycoon Daulat Ram Laxmi Patel whose child Amit Patel is missing. As the police choose to reveal the secret behind the vanishing they find some truly upsetting realities that will shake you deeply. To realize what occurs next you have to go through this energizing work.
One of the numerous reasons I have returned to court shows is a direct result of their sheer tension and rush. This book has to some degree fulfilled my spine-chiller, hungry heart.
Arresting and completely cherished the plot. Legitimate spine chillers are quite possibly the hardest to compose. Talwar had moved the account with his adroit abilities and well-informed storyline. The resulting character improvement has given colossal space for the story to develop.
I would recommend this book for any novice who is keen on perusing this sort.

Book Title: How to Kill a Billionaire
Author: Rajesh Talwar
Format: Kindle

My Thoughts:
Since 2020 and the aftermath effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise of viewership on Tv and OTT platform, many movies and drama series that revolve around a crime against an individual or a family have been on an uprise. There has been a lot of audience towards courtroom drama; incidentally, as we are still facing the same situation, I got an opportunity to read this book, How to Kill a Billionaire by Rajesh Talwar.

This book is a brilliantly written court drama story that revolves around a young woman's rape case where people from influential family are involved. The drama looks more interesting as the central character Ramesh, who is also an advocate, happens to the brother of the abused girl. Though the plot seems like a cliché vengeance drama, other novel elements in the story set the standards high.

Overall a good book and recommended to all the readers who love such crime thriller.

What to expect from the story?
The story is a legal thriller book that deals with courtroom drama filled with suspense and mystery. The story also showcases the loose ends of how a case is taken up and the process right from complaining to receiving justice. The elements related to culture, society, ethics and justice system

Who can read?
The book is basically a good treat to all the readers who like to read a mystery with crime and its punishment involved. Though there are no many places where there were surprises, the language used is fine, and young readers can also read the book.

How good are the characters?
All the characters, including the central and guest characters, are written with depth and strength. Every time a character is in action, the story gels perfectly with the attitude of the character. This is observed in Rajesh Talwar's previous book too. The characters take forward the story, and in this book, each character does its job effectively.

How good are the narration and language?
An engaging and gripping narration is found in the story. However, the story seems predictable in some places. The language used in the story is quite accessible to everyone. The story also gives the readers an idea of how the legal system in the country works. The story is written in Ramesh's narrative. Who is Ramesh, and what role does he play in the story is something that is to be read.

How entertaining is the book?
The story looks like a maze, and Ramesh is caught up in it and is the solo player to unveil the mystery. With this element, the story goes in many folds. Unfolding everything in layers as the story progresses is executed very well.

The book also deals with two sub-stories, and the perfect inter-twining makes the book interesting. The readers face the heat and the brother who avenges his sister's unfortunate death between the unsaid and dark corners of the legal system. The author adeptly handled the sensitive issues of rape, and hazardous topics of corruption and many more attached.

With perfect narration and mystery element, the book thus stands as an entertainer!

Final Verdict
Gripping thriller!

3/5

Once again, I convey my heartfelt gratitude to the author for giving me an opportunity to review one of his first books on thriller fiction.

How to Kill a Billionaire is a unique crime thriller book, because of two things in particular — the narration and the structure of the plot.

It is quite interesting to note that the book appropriates a second-person point of view in order to look at the events of the book through the eyes of the trial court lawyer, while simultaneously assessing the attitude of billionaire in focus. That's the first reason why I loved reading How to Kill a Billionaire. Secondly, the structure. The initial chapters of the book introduces the readers to the context, clarifying all questions and doubts that might have arrived while reader chapter one. How to Kill a Billionaire is a character driven book, for we are not aware of the events of the kidnapping and deaths until the protagonist tells us about it. It's a strict, rigid, narrow point of view, which adds to the suspense and mystery in the novel. Third, the prevalent themes. The author's candid style of writing allows legal corruption to find expression in How to Kill a Billionaire. The book talks in detail about the behind-the-scenes of courtroom dramas, and it's very intriguing. What I find most significant in How to Kill a Billionaire is the well-crafted plot itself. The author has done a good job at building the tension while progressing with the main plot.

However, two p(l)otholes remains. How to Kill a Billionaire did seem predictable in some parts of the storyline. There were instances where the reader could already foretell what happens next just by going through the context. Second was the language. Though the narrative style exceeded my expectations, the language employed in the book certainly could have been better. There were legal jargons, yes, but the filler paragraphs and descriptions could have been made better with short sentences.

Yet, I am impressed by how the author, while weaving out a gripping thriller, talks extensively on corruption in and around courts. It is these small nuances supporting the foundations of a novel that makes a book worthwhile to readers. I convey my best wishes to the author for his future endeavours.

FAB - BOOK REVIEW OF "How to Kill a Billionaire" by Rajesh Talwar.

Genre: Fiction (Thriller)

Rating - 4/5

QOTD: Do you ever felt that you are being cheated? If yes, what would you do about it, whether take an act of revenge or let the time play its role in it?

"How to Kill a Billionaire" by Rajesh Talwar. The author has brought a sensitive topic, but we should all speak about "the violence against women." Here, a woman named Ruhno was raped and had been a victim of sexual assault. As she has gone through all that, she committed suicide. Her brother Ramesh got to know all this, and he fought for her sister. He will find it out later that the anonymous who killed and brutally raped his sister was none other than Amit Patel, the son of a famous billionaire. As much as Amit's role, his lawyer Sunil has also played a vital role in committing that crime. One fine day, Amit Patel is missing then everyone suspected that Ramesh might have kidnapped him or killed him, so he was accused of false allegations and a guilty crime. But it is not proven that he did play a role in the missing case of Amit Patel, but still, that is what everyone is assuming it to be like. This book goes on this question that what happened to Mr. Amit Patel?
.
The author has touched on a very emotional issue and made a story out of it. Though this book is fictional, we, unfortunately, hear about this kind of problem on day to day basis. This book is so powerful and has a deep voice. This book speaks a lot in terms of the story and the way it has been crafted. All the characters are strong, not leaving any clue on what happens future, keeping the book unpredictable, whereas this Amit Patel has gone to. The language is lucid will definitely make you feel emotional. The writing is powerful and will definitely make you think. Though it is a fictional book, it posses a great message that a few people should understand and behave likewise. But I wish the book's cover page to be a little better; there should be some editing work that needs to be done, and the font size can be a bit bigger. Happy reading!

Though it is categorised as Thriller/ Mystery Fiction in generalised terms, How to Kill a Billionaire by Rajesh Talwar indeed proves to be a detailed guide on how you can methodically, with meticulous steps and pointers take down the son one of the most influential businessman.

Alas, this is not a guidebook, but the way with which the murder was planned does make it very much interesting than what we find in our normal Crime Mysteries.

Unique thing about this book, which I have not found much in this genre is that it gave us the Point of view of the person who has actually committed the crime, though it isn't until 80 percent that we realise who actually the culprit is, rather than the other clichéd books wherein we are just told who the guilty one is.

Amit Patel, son a very rich businessman has gone missing, few days after they found the dead body of his close friend, and the suspect is the one who has a strong motive for this disappearance, though being a lawyer, he is sort of influential in his own profession, so even the police and other enforcements can not take quick action against him.

Telling who the MC / Protagonist is will result in spoilers and I don't want to give away anything, so I won't be revealing his identity. But I think he very well gave Amit back what the jerk deserved.

The book enunciates that no matter how rich you are, Karma will always hit you back and justice will be served for your Wrongdoings and misgivings. Though it was in no scenario an ideal way for the MC to take matters in his own hand and punish Amit, I can sympathise with why he had to take these upon himself to punish Amit.

At times, I wondered if the MC had not been a lawyer, or if he didn't have the support of his fellow colleagues, would he have suceeded with his plan? I highly doubt so.

This book deals with a sensitive topic and though its nowhere much graphically shown, I highly suggest that people with Triggers should make sure to read the blurb before grabbing this novel.

I am going to give the book FIVE BILLIONAIRE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

How to kill a billionaire is a legal thriller. When I say legal thriller it means it contains elements like courtroom, legal proceedings, court corruption, lawyers work, events occurring in and around courtroom etc.

Ramesh Kumar is a lawyer practicing in the lower courts of delhi. Ruhno, his sister, who use to work with Amit Patel, the billionaire's son, commits suicide after getting raped. Ramesh feels somehow Amit Patel is behind his sister's rape and decides on taking revenge. He takes advantage of his position and the weak legal system to get his revenge. And soon after that the billionaire's son goes missing. The billionaire , Lord Patel, helds Ramesh responsible for his son's disappearance.

From the title its obvious that the billionaire's son is killed but how? That's the question.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤?
As I said above, it revolves around courtroom and lawyers. How the lawyers and court function. The corruption and the setting between lawyers and police. How fake documents can be prepared by lawyers. And how fake witnesses can be bought.
The book stresses a lot on functioning of Tis Hazari courts ( 30,000 courts).

The book is gripping but it did slow down a bit in between due to lengthy descriptions. What I liked reading in the book was how the lawyers work. How they got their job done. Although it's easily predictable as per the title that Amit patel is killed but the curiosity remains intact till the end, as to how. Though it's just 187 pages it seemed liked a lengthy and heavy read.

Altogether a good read for those who like to read law and stuff.

When a billionaire's son - Amit Patel - goes missing, all suspect turn towards the criminal lawyer whose sister had recently been a victim of Amit and his lawyer Sunil's sexual exploitation. As Ramesh's sister Ruhno succumbs to suicide, Ramesh takes it upon himself to avenge Ruhno. Being a lawyer himself, Ramesh knows the corrupted legal system of the country won't suffice. Hence starts Ramesh's plot to bring Amit and Sunil down.

To Kill a Billionaire is an elaborately structured legal thriller. Even though you know the culprit from the first page itself, the mystery lies in the handiwork of the crime. To be honest, there's not much mystery in it. It's actually the slow build up in the story - as one revelation after another takes place, that gets you hooked to the book. As if the author is stripping off layers in the story one by one.

This book did a lot to teach me how the inside work is done in the Indian legal system. From the networking to the dirty illegal tasks - this story did cover a lot many things that had a play in Ramesh's vengeance story. Also, the I loved how the author narrated the story from Ramesh's pov. As Ramesh's character takes us readers through the story, he brings out the key players who helped him avenge Ruhno by giving us background stories about these said characters. The book felt like a puzzle being solved, as Ramesh brings out his puzzle pieces to give us the complete picture of the story.

One thing that did not sit well with me is that there was no surprise or shocking element in the book. Considering it was a legal thriller, I would have liked to be surprised. So I was little disappointed in that department.

How to Kill a Billionaire by Rajesh Talwar is a legal drama and a crime fiction centered around a billionaire's son who goes missing and a brother, a trial court lawyer, striving to bring justice to his sister with no faith in the justice system.

The storyline, as you can probably tell, is intense and twisted, yet keeps you in the loop as the plot progresses and the events are recounted in a unique narrative. The narration style is second-person that ended up giving the book a lot of character. I did however think that the narration lacked a bit of clarity and consistency as it jumped from one chapter to another, and at times got a tad too descriptive. Otherwise, it was quite interesting.

The book deals with certain heavy themes like the flawed justice system, the prevalent corruption everywhere, sexual assault, suicide, murder and such. Be aware of this while going into the book. It is not your typical who-did-it sort of a crime fiction. Even though there are some elements of mystery, you do see some things coming. However, the author does manage to keep you engaged and turning pages to see how it all comes together.

Rajesh Talwar was able to play around with his knowledge of law combined with the problematic legal system in India, and brought out an interesting courtroom drama in all of its flaws and realness. All in all, the tale is thought-provoking and is bound to stir up a string of emotions throughout.

A big thanks to the author for trusting me with his works time and again.

How to kill a billionaire is a legal thriller with a well-done courtroom drama. When a famous billionaire's son goes missing the immediate suspicion falls on the lawyer who threatened him previously. A case is registered against him but somehow it's more than just a missing case. A conspiracy and an act of vengeance takes root and goes deep under than what it seemed.

This book doesn't follow the usual format where you have a clear guess of the plot and other details instead it's completely ambiguous. And as the story is told in first person narrative, you see the story unveiled in a series of events with ample focus on character arc. By the middle of the novel everything gets ramped up; the real motive, clever manipulations and a plan devised specifically to trap the people who wronged an innocent.

A thrilling and sensational book which will keep you on the edge of your seat. This isn't like any other suspense book that I have read, yes there is a mystery presented to us but the way how the author handled the execution of the plot is simply amazing. Masterful and to be fair this book has all the great potential to become an tv series. You can do your best to find out the next move but trust me the outcome is going to be totally different. Thriller such as this can only make the reader crave for more and I'm hoping the author continues to bring forth more books such as this.

TW : Sexual assault, strong language.

One of the many reasons I have gone back to court-room dramas is because of their sheer suspense and thrill. This book has somewhat satisfied my thriller-hungry heart.
I have not read many courtroom dramas written by Indian authors. This book had somewhat quenched that lingering disappointment. Moreover, this is the third book am reviewing of Mr. Talwar. And, believe me when I say, What A Read!
Absolutely riveting and totally loved the plot. Legal thrillers are one of the most difficult to write. Talwar had maneuvered the narrative with his adept skills and well-researched storyline. Subsequent character development has given immense space for the story to grow.
The book deals with two aspects of the story that subsequently proves to be inter-twined. As the brother strives to avenge his sister's unfortunate death, the readers navigate the dark alleys of the legal system. The author adeptly handles the sensitive issues of rape, and hazardous topics of corruption. The narrative has the pace that triggers it forward without losing a beat. There may be few loose ends but I would happily ignore them for the sake of this impressive read.
I would suggest this book for any beginner who is interested in reading this genre. But, for this book, I would recommend it to readers above 15 years of age. This can be a suitable stone to move forward into reading Pelican Brief or Tell Me Your Dreams.

How to kill a billionaire by Rajesh Talwar is not only a thrilling ride the author takes us on but also shows no inhibitions in his writing about the law,the justice system and when a brother sets off on a path of revenge the most sane people on this planet go insane.
.
I will start from what it made feel towards the end. As I closed the book and turned the book around and re-read the title the story is hidden in the title.
.
Coming to how I felt throughout reading the book was excited, disappointed with how the law works in India though I disagree with the author that this is the situation of the justice system only in India.
.
I am in awe of the satirical and the dark humour the writer has written in the narrative which leaves you with a grave impact.
.
Though the author doesn't use much strong language but don't discredit the book just by reading the profanity that people like you and me use on a daily basis. Ok fine. Hourly basis.😉
.
Thirty thousand courts was amazing. Though personally I was a little late to translating as I kept on trying to put the thirty thousand courts on the Delhi map.
.
The character development and their sketches are equally enjoyable because of the way the protagonist narrates in the story.
.
This thriller is not only about the who dun it but the how is the most important aspects covering themes of friendships, exploit of power, Delhi high society and much more.

A billionaire's son goes missing. A young girl commits suicide after a rape. This is a twisted, ironic tale of a brother's love for his sister and his faith in vengeance as the only alternative to a deeply flawed justice system. The brother, a trial court lawyer practising in the lower courts of Delhi, uses the weaknesses of the legal system to confront and confound one of the world's richest men. The story that unfolds takes the reader through the labyrinthine corridors of the Indian legal system to a shattering climax.

The book begins with the court room drama where we get to know about Mr. Patel. The book is a complete package of suspense and thrill. The characters are strong and complex. The story goes on by decrypting the hidden stories of the characters.

The court room drama makes it more and more engaging for the readers. The book is well developed with the elements following the pace all through the book.

I appreciate the writing style of the author as the narration felt realistic with no additional drama and made it a great read for me.

It was my first read of the author and I loved the theme and setting of the book.

Adding to the contents the language was crisp but needs to be worked on. The cover is really beautiful with the most suitable title.

Overall, a good read.

It's not unfamiliar to everyone how people especially the rich misuse the Indian Judicial system using its loopholes. The author through his book presents to us one such fictional story where the protagonist uses these very loopholes of the judicial system to avenge his sister's death.

The story starts with Amit Patel, son of a billionaire missing for many months and the direct suspicion falls on a lawyer who allegedly threatened to kidnap and murder him. But being a lawyer he is well versed with the loopholes if the system and he happens to come clean and the case is dismissed.

Who kidnapped Amit Patel? Is he still alive? What's the mystery behind this story? This story is about a brother's fight to get justice to his sister who is wronged by a billionaire who is freed from any punishment because money matters after all. Will he ever be able to provide justice to his dead sister? Or just like any other case will Amit Patel escape the judicial punishment?

The narration and characterisation are very good and the language is simple and lucid. The courtroom drama is explained neatly and elaborately which I think is very good. But I didn't quite like the monotonous conversation that happens between the protagonist and Amit Patel's father. The suspense is kept throughout the book which makes readers hooked to the story. Overall it was a good read.

How To Kill a Billionaire is a crime thriller story, which has to offer a lot to the readers. Rajesh Talwar writes about how the elite class tries to dominate the one with less power and resources. Lord Patel, a billionaire, along with his son, Amit try to subjugate innocents like Ruhno.

The well-developed characters and thrilling storyline, make it a good read. I loved the way the author deals with the sensitive issue of corruption and rape, torture and mental health. This is nothing but a mirror of the society we live in. A brother strives hard to punish the man who raped his sister, a girl with a million dreams. The story reminds me of the dozen cases we see/hear around us. And many a time only the powerful/culprit set themselves free of the heinous crime. Here in the book, we have a twisted tale, where the culprits pay for the crime.

I immensely loved the story, narration and plot development, though we find a lot of abusive language in the book, which makes it a read conscious read for all. Other themes like stereotyping play an important role in the story like the character of Bihari. Some life issues like choosing between a passion and a job-oriented career also become an integral part of the character's life.

Recommended to all the people who love books which are a mirror of the society we live in.

An intriguing novel, bringing forward an engaging story layer by layer, through well-developed characters and monologue narration. While maintaining the essence of suspense, the book is capable of keeping the readers hooked till the end and is surely worth a read.

The story is about discovering the whereabouts of Amit Patel, a multi-billionaire's son, who went missing 6 months ago. The prime suspect is a lawyer practicing in one of Delhi's lower courts (known as "Tees Hazari"), whose sister committed suicide after a rape. However, he comes out clean in the court and the case against him is dismissed. What makes this book different is the boldness with which the author (a lawyer himself) has brought forward the loopholes of the Indian Judiciary System.

Around a year back I had read a non-fiction book 'Anita gets Bail' by Arun Shourie which was very frank in telling the ugly truth behind case proceedings and judgments related to some of the well-known cases in India. So, it was not surprising when author Rajesh Talwar reconfirmed the same through this fiction novel. If you are not familiar with the reality of the Indian judiciary system, this book can be a good start.

Overall I liked this book as it kept me engaged throughout. It scores 4 out of 5 stars from me.

This is a unbelievable court room drama delivered under the genre- legal thriller. This book will definitely  captures your attention, with the mystery unfolding around the missing case of the billionaire's son. The alleged father puts his suspicion on the lawyer, who seems to have grudge on him. But the truth is uncovered with an exciting twist and the story line wont leave you enough clues to guess till the halfway only to unravel the truth later.
The mystery part intrigued me where, it unfolds the truth of it just not being just a missing person case but a lot more to it.
I absolutely read it in a one go, and caught my attention from the first chapter itself. The characters were complex, believable and real. The story moves at moderate pace. The title caught whole lot of attention. How to Kill a billionaire, that's interesting note to start onto. Lawyer claims to be innocent, but why was he seen threatening the victim?  Then the fact that it is a case between lawyer and a billionaire, I had to finish it soon to uncover the truth and mystery.
If you love legal thrillers, then no doubt pick this one and loving the fact that, I started it right after a busy day and felt better. I rate this riveting suspense, 4.5\5

How to kill a Billionaire

Author- Rajesh Talwar
Genre- Criminal Fiction #crimefiction
Rating- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The one thing that really attracted me towards this book and will stick for some time beyond is the writing style. The entire book fewls like a dialogue but is essentially a monologue of a single man, the main character, a lawyer by profession and a brother out to get revenge for his loving little sister who had been raped and finally met her end by committing suicide.

The story is a twisted sort of a power play between a rich man and a man with all the knowledge of the lope holes in the judicial system, which in itself is flawed and incompetent to provide justice.

It is an interesting scenario where in a Lord no less is forced to live the life of a meager earning personal in lue to get more information about his missing son.

The story is gripping and the plot though predictable yet keep you turning the pages till the very end. The story does seem to be inspired from a popular Hindi movie or does bare a lot of resemblance to.

All in all an entertaining read for someone who is not triggered by violence, corruption, and fraud.

How To Kill A Billionaire is a story of a middle class man versus a rich man, set in Delhi, India. The middle class man being a lawyer who knows every inns and outs of the Indian legal system, who'd been wronged by the rich and knows how to get his revenge without wasting much time. Against him is the rich man whose son is now missing, presumed dead. Another father who would do anything with his money to bring back his son. As the story progresses, we get to see how these two people are acquainted in life and what a tangled mess it had become.

The story isn't going to give you many edge-of-the-seat experiences but the style of narration is gripping and if you like courtroom dramas, you'll probably enjoy the scenes that feature the lawyer outing his witness in the courtroom.

Fast paced, easy to read and reflecting the country's judicial system in so many ways, and portraying how it works, I loved the book's theme and the way it was written. There are so many other stories that the author manages to weave along with the main storyline which might be a bit off but will keep you guessing. Overall, this is a good entertaining legal thriller with good vocabulary from an Indian author. Comes recommended from me.

How to kill a billionaire' by author Rajesh Talwar is undoubtedly a brilliant work that encloses the reality of a rape victim especially when the rapist is the son of a billionaire. I must say Author Rajesh deserves all appreciations for choosing this very sensitive topic from our society that is not only a story but also very realistic. I will recommend this book to every thriller lover and also who wants a very unique crime mystery, this is definitely for you.

Though I believe in Karma, but there are several times when the victim doesn't get justice! But, here the way a brother fights for the justice of her dead sister with the most wealthy person, is really very heartfelt. The author's writing style is very moderate and standard. The best thing I have found in this story that each and every character is very well introduced and developed.

I am really awestruck how the author has managed each of them with perfection! I didn't get any grammatical error or interruption while reading.

Again, the author's work and writing style both are very splendid. It is one of the most unique crime thrillers I have read this year. The cover is simple and the title is perfect! It was a great time with this book.

This book is an amazing thrilling murder mystery, which is one of my favourite genres to read.
The book revolves around Ramesh who is a criminal lawyer in three thousand court. The story is narrated by Ramesh and takes the reader on a journey of his struggle through life. Both his parents have died and his sister is his only family left. When his sister Ruhno, takes up a job at university and starts meeting with a billionaire Amit Sharma things take a downturn.
This is a twisted, ironic tale of a brother's love for his sister and his faith in vengeance as the only alternative to a deeply flawed justice system. What happens to Ruhno?
Where is Amit? Who is Sunil?
Read this amazing book to get all the answers.

~ The book is written with a very intriguing narration and very easy language is used.
~The title and the cover of the book is apt for the story.
~What I liked most was the thrill level and mystery in the book.
~It is less than 200 pages book but still some part felt a little dragged on.
~The ending is nice and subtly developed.
~The take on the Indian legal system is also very interesting to read.
~The plot is very interesting and quite unique too.
~Overall, it is a nice read.

It wasn't a while ago when I read a legal thriller and started looking for more books to read from this genre. How to kill a billionaire fits the description of a courtroom drama. A billionaires son goes missing and the suspicion falls upon a lawyer who was seen threatening him. However, the case is more than a person gone missing.

Conspiracies unfold and there's a lot to uncover in between the pages. The characters are complex with a lot of history that gives an insight into their thought process and helps the reader understand better why they chose to make decisions that they did.

That being said, There isn't a lot of shock value to the book but that doesn't dull the anticipation of the story. As the plot is well structured and executed with extreme precision, the book still manages to keep you guessing even if there aren't many jaw dropping scenes.

The writing can be crass at times and it's not really well edited which is probably why I couldn't enjoy it as much I would've. The book has a lot of potential. It just needs a little polishing.

That being said, it still makes up for a good one time read that is highly entertaining.

'How To Kill A Billionaire' is a detailed organized legal thriller. The book enlightened me with oodles of new information about how the legal system in India works , from the legitimate tasks to dirty politics by an exceptionally engaging story .

So the plot goes like this , an extremely affectionate and despondent brother with a wounded heart seeks justice on behalf of her dead sister against one of the world's wealthiest man in the disfigured legal system of the country India. The narration is a bit slow , but the cool disclosures in the story will keep you hooked into.

The book masterfully highlights behind the scenes of the Indian Judiciary System. It was predictable at some instances but majorly it was erratic . It is a character - driven book and I liked how the author describes the characters and events taking place.

Overall ,it is an intensely gripping tale if you love to read thrillers like those of Agatha Christie or Sherlock or Paula Hawkins ,this can prove to be a great pick .And not just thrill and fun while reading it ,but also intelligently worth knowing points about corruption and the contemporary yet realistic India .
