Okay, so I read this book in a day. I flipping loved it. Luke & Charlie were couples goals. Luke had my heart from the very beginning. Loved all the twists & turns. That ending, I didn’t see coming. I need book 2 now please!!! Awesome job Lindsey. Definitely worth every one of the 5 stars & more.

Part of Me is a great start to this new series. Charlie and Luke are a solid couple who have been together for ten years. They know each other inside out – or do they? Life is never that straight forward. This is a compelling story with lots of suspense which leads to a nail-biting ending. Bring on book two!

Always with the twists!!!!!!! Can we just start calling her Lindsey Plot-Twist Powell?! I love Lindsey’s writing. I love her books. I love the emotion these characters convey through the pages. Once you start reading this story, you cannot put it down. Getting to the next one now so I can keep going!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was full of suspense, drama, love, a lot of forgiveness, and heartache.

Well, this book was not what I expected, but what a great start to the series.
This story captivates from the beginning, throwing twists and turns to keep you turning pages.
Charlie and Luke have been together for a long time but when things start coming up will their relationship make it?
The suspense, steam and heartache will keep you wanting more, but that ending! Come on!

The ending was so crazy. I was like what, this seriously can't end on this note. Theres so much left up in the air!!! I had to check and make sure there was a second book...there is.... This book is about a couple Luke and Charlie. They have been together for ten years and Luke has a secret he can't tell Charlie. This puts pressure on there relationship.the entire book I was like, just tell us the secret Luke!!! I don't want to give too much away, but something happens on the most special day of there lives. It was really good. The book kept me wanting more and it had such a good cliffhanger. I recommend it.

My poor little heart.
Gah i can't.
I don't know where to start.
My heart still hasn't returned to its normal rhythm.
You know when you meet those characters and you instantly start rooting for them like they are some sort of power couple and you want them to do well? Well this was Charlie and Luke. They have that sort of relationship that spans years in the making, like you don't get that sort of relationship unless you've been through some stuff.
They have such an amazing relationship, yes it has its ups and downs but what great relationship doesn't? I fell for Luke almost instantly, he was charming and had so much love for Charlie, he was a dream to read about.
Charlie was so strong and stood her ground, i was like the devil on her shoulder like "you go girl" but also had this feeling of like wait, "hear him out, it's Luke he can do no wrong in my eyes" conflicting but no book should always be straightforward.
I've read one of Lindsey's books before and had every intention of getting to this series because there is only so much a girl can see it being promoted without breaking and having to read it and I'm glad i did.
I'm glad i got to experience Charlie and Luke and their crazy ride.
The ending though had my heart in my mouth, I'm so glad i don't have to wait for book 2!

Luke and Charlie have been together for ten years. They have the kind of loving, steamy, trusting relationship we all want. Or do they?
Luke asks Charlie to move in with him and she happily agrees! When Charlie moves in there are small things that she sees in Luke she hasn’t seen before. Luke has a secret, that he refuses to tell Charlie. He is working more than before and is cagey when pressed by Charlie. Which has Charlie questioning everything about Luke.
They have never had secrets before, she loves Luke but is unsure if she can be with him. He swears it’s all nothing and that he loves her. She can see that he means what he is saying, but can’t shake the feeling she has about what he isn’t saying.
This secret causes strife between the two lovers, but Charlie ultimately decides that her love for Luke is strong enough to allow Luke to keep the secret.
That is until on what should be the happiest day in Charlie’s life turns into tragedy!
I loved this book, I went in thinking this would be a quick steamy romance. Boy was I wrong.
I got the steamy romance, but I also got twists, turns and intrigue. It was well paced and I didn’t see some of the twists coming. And that ending, I was gobsmacked (Ms. Powell is English, thought I’d use one of my favorite slang words)!
I want more so I’m off to read part two!!!

Wow!
I was not expecting this story for Lindsey Powell at all.
I never read the blurb but I assumed this would be a quick sweet romance story. And it turned out to be so much more than that.
Charlie and Luke have been lovers, best friends, and soulmates for ten years. Their lives were perfect until they weren't. Even thought Charlie swore she knew the man she loved, there was a secret that he'd been hiding all those years that changed everything for them.
All of a sudden, Charlie no longer feels safe anymore and even though she wants to trust Luke it's hard when he leaves her in the dark.
So much takes place and eventually Luke tells Charlie what that secret is and on the day of their wedding the unexpected happens.
Honestly, I did not see that ending coming. It was so not what I was expecting and now I'm off to read book two because I refuse to accept that that was the end if such a beautiful relationship.

Is Charlie blissfully happy or ignorantly happy? That is the question. Charlie and Luke had the relationship everyone thought was perfect for 10 years. Charlie, herself, thought it was perfect. That is until one occurrence has her questioning things. A minute change began to snowball into more questions.
There were so many twists and turns through out with unanswered questions which keeps you on the edge of your seat. You know something sketchy could be happening, but then you question whether or not your suspicion is true. L. Powell is wonderful at weaving twists throughout.
I could not understand how Charlie could be so forgiving and not question or want to know answers to her questions. I guess because I would want to know everything, I would not have chosen to be kept in the dark.

Action, suspense, and a whole lot of steaminess
Once in a while you come across one of those books that has it all. That’s this book. Charlie and Luke are perfect together, until she realizes he’s hiding something. Something big. With plenty of steam between them, a whole lot of suspense as Charlie goes back and forth over what Luke is hiding, and a ton of action in between, this is a fantastically engaging read.
The emotional drama is never lacking, as their relationship goes through not only normal relationship issues but also everything surrounding the mystery as to what is really going on with Luke, and the impact on their lives. The suspense is thick, and the resulting action happens in bursts throughout the book, keeping the plot twisting and turning to an unexpected ending. And there’s still so much left to know. I can’t wait for book two!

And for ten solid years, they have been nothing but happy and deeply in love. Until one night, everything changes. Doubts begin to seep into their relationship. Secrets are being kept and trust is tested. Just when we think everything will be okay, we get thrown for a loop left unsure of anything! This book pulls you into a mystery that leaves us craving more. I was dying by the end, needing answers that will have to wait until book two comes out. And I will be waiting quite impatiently. It is impossible to read this book over the course of a few days. You will get sucked in— food won’t matter, you’ll call in sick to work, and texts will go unanswered. This book is THAT captivating. This story has that mysterious element to it that kept my eyes glued to my Kindle. It was exactly what I was in the mood for and the ending had me reeling. I purposely waited to read this until we were closer to book 2 because I knew I’d have a million and one questions. Book 2 is less than a day away and I’m ready for more Charlie & Luke!

This is one of those books that is as much a love story as it is a suspenseful page-turner. What's really going on when Charlie realizes that Luke has a secret? After ten years of blissful young love, can she trust him? This makes for a fast read. You just have to know how these two will figure their way out of the labyrinth that results from betrayals of trust. And while you're wondering what motivates Luke, you're also considering if there is ever a good reason to lie. So so good!

This story shared the love of two sweethearts who had shared 10 years of utter bliss only for later event's to take the story into an unexpected yet edge of your seat twist! Charlie and Luke are amazing together: they’re happy, comfortable with each other, best friends. That is until Charlie finds out Luke is hiding something from her. Luke just wants Charlie to trust him, that what he’s doing is with her best interests in mind. Or does he? This book kept me in the edge of my seat from chapter one all the way till the end. I can’t wait to read the next book!!! ❤️❤️

Wow!
Lindsey knocked it out of the park with this one! I loved Luke and Charlie's relationship. But then Luke started acting suspicious and weird things started happening. This story takes you on suspenseful and emotional ride that will leave you with so. Many. Questions! Cannot wait for book 2!

Muy usualmente suelo decir que me encanta algún que otro protagonista masculino, pero en este mismo libro ocurre todo lo contrario. No lo soporté. Y por ello la autora nos engancha a un cúmulo de acontecimientos que te hace dudar de este personaje, aunque al final del libro las explicaciones salen a la luz, pero desde mi punto de vista personal, no me gana nada.
Charlie tiene mucha paciencia, mucho más de la que tendría yo en este caso. Mentiras y secretos ocultos día a día son presentes en su vida, hasta tal punto incluso de no saber que es real o no. Charlie se merece más de lo que Luke le daba y probablemente con ese final puede que las cosas salgan a mejor o no. Yo tengo los dedos cruzados para ello.

Charlie Thomas and Luke Sanders look like the perfect couple from the outside, but they are not. Secrets and lies have Charlie on high alert because she doesn't know why the love of her life is hiding things from her. Day after day, she tries to find out, but she gets desperate in the process. She doesn't know whether to trust him, but she feels a deep love, although the doubts won't let her sleep peacefully.
This book follows the life of an established couple for ten years. When I started this book, I was not sure where I was going to enter, and maybe that's why I was surprised so much.
"I love Luke, and he loves me. Nothing can break us, and nothing will tear us apart"
I usually say that I love some male protagonists, but in this book, it's the opposite. I couldn't tolerate him. That's why the author engages us in a series of events that make you doubt about this character. Although at the end of the book, the explanations come out, from my point of view, he doesn't win me over.
Charlie has a lot of patience, much more than I would have in this case. Lies and hidden secrets are present in his life day by day, to the point of not even knowing what is real or not. Charlie deserves more than Luke gave him, and probably with that ending, things may or may not turn out as they should. I have my fingers crossed for that.

Part of Me by L. Powell was a new and different read for me. Reading from the perspective from a couple is very new to me and I enjoyed it. The story full of suspense and secrets was intriguing and addictive.
I loved the plot of the story. I enjoyed looking at the story with a long-term couple. It's rather rare (to me, personally) to read a story that way. I felt as if I knew them all along. There was that comfort that radiated from the couple in the book.
There was a lot of suspense which then elevated the drama in the novel. Things didn't always seem as they were and it was exciting and dramatic.
One thing you couldn't deny, though, was their love for one another.
That ending was... WOW! Left me wanting more. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
