The town of Magnolia Cove has lost its magic. It's up to Pepper Reign to reclaim it.
When Blake Calhoun sets out to steal the heart fire, the object that makes the town of Magnolia Cove, Alabama, magical, his plan backfires. The heart isn't stolen, instead it breaks into four pieces and scatters across the state. Now, newly married Pepper and Axel Reign must work to track down each piece. Lucky for them, when a person finds a piece, they are bestowed with strange abilities.
This is book three in the Lost Southern Magic series. In this story, Pepper's search will take her to Silver Springs, where she will team up with Dylan Bane and meet a mess of sirens, who seem to be up to no good. Will Dylan and Pepper be able to find the piece of heart, or will Blake Calhoun beat them to it?
Lost Southern Magic is a four book limited crossover series. Over the span of these books, Pepper Reign with unite with ghosthunter Blissful Breneaux (of Southern Ghost Wranglers), witchy matchmaker Charming Calhoun (of Southern Belles and Spells Matchmakers) and Dylan Bane (of Bless Your Witch). These books will have witchy meet-ups and pit grandmother against grandmother. Each book will show Pepper's perspective as well as surprise perspectives from Axel, and even Betty.
Hey, I’m Amy, I write books for folks who crave laugh-out-loud paranormal mysteries. I help bring humor into readers’ lives. I’ve got a Pharm D in pharmacy, a BA in Creative Writing and a Masters in Life. And when I’m not writing or chasing around two small children (one of which is four going on thirteen), I can be found antique shopping for a great deal, getting my roots touched up (because that’s an every four week job) and figuring out when I can get back to Disney World. If you’re dying to know more about my wacky life, here are three things you don’t know about me. —In college I spent a semester at Marvel Comics working in the X-Men office. —I worked at Carnegie Hall. —I grew up in a barbecue restaurant—literally. My parents owned one. If you want to reach out to me—and I love to hear from readers—you can email me at amyboylesauthor@gmail.com. Happy reading!
Pepper, Axle, and Grandma Betty have now chased the heart fire to Silver Springs, where they meet Dylan, Roman, and the rest of the nutty Apel family. The real enjoyment of this book is not the mystery, which is very obvious with no surprises; the entertainment is in the interactions between the two groups which focuses on Betty's and Hazel's tense history. Also, while Betty is generally exceedingly annoying, in this miniseries she displays a more appealing vulnerable aspect. I am eager for the final battle back in Magnolia Cove (and hopefully Mr. Jingles will be returned to female! 😉).
entertaining paranormal cozy mystery spinoff quest series
This is book 3 in the Forbook spin off from the sweet tea which is mystery series. After the heart fire was shattered in their small town in spread to the four winds pepper and her family are out trying to track down all the pieces of the heart before Blake the evil vampire can get there first and take them. Pepper and her family have recovered two pieces so far now they are on the trail of a third can I beat Blake and capture all the parts of the heart and restore it in the magic to their town. Read on and find out
Another hilarious romp, this time with Dylan, Roman, Sera, Reid, Gramma Hazel, Gramma Milly, and Nan. The fights that went on between Hazel and Betty were fantastically done. I felt we didn't get to see too much of Roman here, and since it's been a while since I read the Bless Your Witch series, I couldn't really remember his personality. But with the sheer number of other characters who took centre stage, it was still a very fun and quick ride!
Loved it! It’s just the most awesome total crossover series I ever read! If you love Amy’s work, seeing all her series characters interact and being on a epic adventure together, it just amazing! Well written! It’s funny and emotional, it’s full of suspense and some secrets are revealed... You’re going to enjoy this third book!
Wedding venue crisis! Usurped by what? By Whom? Why? Lets the magic begin. Good third book in the series. Enjoying Amy Boyles Characters, flow and style of writing. It's great to read something that so entertaining and well done. Trust me, have ever lied to you on purpose?
I didn't like this book as much as I liked the other two books. The story was interesting, but it seemed to be missing something. I am glad that Sera and Brock got married, and that the Sirens left, but something still was not quite right. I will recommend this book it is part of the series.
In this book Pepper Betty and Axel have located the next piece of the heart. They meet Dylan and her gang from Amy Boyles Bless your witch series. I loved how Dylan didn't trust the sirens and how her grandmother solved the problem of the sirens and the vampires at the same time. This was an Amazing read.
I love getting to meet up up with characters that I haven’t seen in a while...like Dylan and Roman. I live this series just being all the favorite characters from all these amazing series together working together as one big magical family
Amy’s stories are well thought out. A true mistress of her craft! I love reading the stories, and fell like I’m actually inside the circle of witches with them every step of the way!
I am loving the crossovers. Wish more authors did this. It adds to the stories in ways that they wouldn't be able to do. Love that Pepper and Dylan might be pregnant together ❤❤.
I enjoyed the grandmother's and their fight. I love the humerous scenes. The vampire, Blake, is a good/bad villain. Who knew that magic could be so funny?
