Decent book.

Overall the book was good but I was not drawn into the story like I was in previous books in this series. The characters are interesting but I wanted more depth in the story this time.

Brilliant and thrilling!

Another excellent entry in the without Law series.
We're getting a broader view of the world around the campus and both allies and enemies both.
It's also nice to see some character development and backstory for Tara as she is turning out to be an interesting character after the first impression weren't so great.

Already downloading the next book!

Good Read.

Perhaps not quite the book that #4 was for me, but, still a damn fine book. I would like to see the girls share Tav at the same time.

Still good.

At this point I do not need to go into details. This is more of the same, still solid story with good characters.

Reading through the available series of 1 - 9 one after another in one go. With the read, the character evolve, the area they are at expand and the reason for the “apocalypse” are hinted at bit by bit with some clues. Enjoyed the series and will continue on when new books are available.

The start of the next chapter

With the bikers eradicated, we see the team start to deal with the next threat to their peace and existence, the national guard. This book sees the focus primarily around Tara and provides more background on both her and Tav and helps to paint a more detailed picture of their motivations and history.

A really good introduction to the next stage on this series with the right amount of action and suspense. Now I am waiting on another volume for this series and I'm torn as to what I want Eric Vall to release next.

Post apocalyptic story continues to impress

The MC seems to be Turing more Rambo in this story as he goes about building a place to live and protecting his neighbors from a corrupted National Guard. The girls are also getting more aggressive and ready to kill to protect and avenge if necessary. I enjoyed the story and I am keen to understand which direction the author will take with the story as the opponents they face steadily increase in difficulty to defeat. A really goos series if you like a survivalist story with low tech society rebuilding overtones.

Favorite

The "Without Law" series is probably my favorite one from this author (who has a number of good series currently in progress), and this one continues the story very satisfactorily. The harem aspect is going well, and Vall is very good at painting an intimate interlude clearly without over description. But like any good author he only uses the proper amount of words to tell the story, no more. As usual presentation values are good, with only a couple of word issues.

Excellent continuation of the series and story. Recommended.

Fun read read all 4 books so far

I like books that are witty adult themes and just plain fun to read. A few minor things earned me though. I didn't like the closing one eye while shooting and the fact he has them shooting before learning how to clean. These are just my on personal quirks and did not take away the fun I had while reading the series so far. If you like fun fast actioned book a with explicit violence and sex then you should try this series.

Tav and the Badass Harem

If you’ve enjoyed the first four books, this one will not disappoint. Eric Vall does a great job of describing action and just the right amount of detail on the tactical situations. I find that the storyline is quite good, the whole harem thing is a little overboard, but I know it’s popular with many readers.
The series is good enough that book five is on my reading list.

No rest for the warrior

Removing the biker threat is a two edged sword....yes there are fewer threats to the college group, but the road they had blocked is now open. And the dirt bags the bikers had blocked have oozed into the areas the bikers had controlled. In ultimate insult, a force of National Guard soldiers have appeared. Unfortunately they have degenerated into a mob of armed slavers. A good read.

Good character development

As this is #4 in the series, character development is furthered effectively to build relationships and through events. Quite necessary, well done, and moves through the inevitable realities likely to occur in the area, now that the biker gang has been dealt with.

Another Great Book

I find it funny this is was the last series of Eric's that had caught my attention, and it quickly became one of my favorites. I love the play between each of the Girls and Ted along with their handyman Rolly. Each girl is really coming into their own roll, and I can't wait to see where this series goes.

Uphold the law

More of the same we Love. Girls, guns, great fights. So the plot thickens and more powerful foes move in but Tav and his warrior harem are not going to stand by and do nothing. More battles and fun ensue for our reading pleasure. This is another enjoyable addition to this series. Eagerly awaiting the next book.

Another fun episode with Tav and his band of survivors. Sadly, the number of spelling mistakes in this book is high enough that I nearly knocked it down to a two-star rating. The author desperately needs to proofread their manuscripts better. Hell, just running a simple spell-checker would catch quite a lot of them!

What are we surviving and fighting for?

This chapter in the series is a good steup for the next big battle. Filled with intense skirmishes and firefights, here we learn just how much the girls have grown, and why they're willing to fight so hard.
What are they surving and going to war over?
Read and be entertained.

Fun, exciting read.

Enjoyed the story, has some teachable moments, action, and fun times blended well together. Love the realistic 'harem' element. Everyone gets their own alone time, instead of everyone does everything and everyone constantly. There is still a fun story there. Looking forward to the next book.

Things are heating up

Our hero's are turning into a smooth and deadly team. The appearance of a rogue group of National Guard, that have terrorized their friends and kidnapped Jenny have to be dealt with. A tense chase and gun battle have raised the stakes for our group. It looks like things are going to get increasingly complicated in the next round!

Interesting survival story.

I have enjoyed this story so far. The methodology the MC uses to teach and train for survival seems believable to me. Then there is kicking bad guys that is fun to see. Overall I thought this was an enjoyable read.

I really like this series. It just finished one story arc and started the next arc with a minor cliffhanger. Cannot wait until the next book

I found this to be enjoyable read and it was hard to put down. There's lots of action and intimate yet pleasant harem descriptions in a book which is generally well written with only minor grammatical issues. Looking forward to Without Law 5.
