Her chapter books include the Toys series, illustrated by Paul O. Zelinsky; she is co-author of the Upside-down Magic series. Emily Jenkins lives in New York City.

I read all these with Jasper , except Book 4 which he read with his dad so I had to read alone.
And these books might be my absolute FAVORITE children books of all time. They handle such hard topics with ease and real emotions, and have started so many conversations for Jasper and I!!
They are short, and quick reads so I didn't feel right putting them on individually but I loved them!!!

UPSIDEDOWN MAGIC WAS MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE!!! i adored every single character from head to toe and the magic system was so well thought-out. each of the main children had such interesting and unique powers .i also loved going on their journey to learn, to maintain and to control their powers with them.
i imagined myself as one of the characters in this book because i was so so so strongly invested in the characters and their friend group and i really wanted to be their friends tooooo.
