Ashley is not the kind of girl people find attractive. Not as a dancer, anyway. Not as a woman, either, apparently. She's given up dancing to pursue her first love, costuming, and is doing quite well, having landed the position of head costumer for a prestigious ballet production in New York.
When she meets James, however, her life starts to change. A one night stand with the gorgeous Daddy Dom has Ashley realizing that something has been missing from her life. But he is gone the next morning, leaving her to face the sub drop alone.
When they meet again and he tries to make amends, can she trust him enough to explore her newfound kink with him – one that she is just now learning she craves? Will he hurt her again, or lead her to a fulfilling new lifestyle and new relationship?
Publisher's Note: This steamy contemporary age-play romance contains themes of power exchange. While it is part of the Little Girl series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone.
Rebel Carter loves love. So much in fact that she decided to write the love stories she desperately wanted to read. A book by Rebel means diverse characters, sexy banter, a real big helping of steamy scenes, and, of course, a whole lotta heart.
Rebel lives in Colorado, makes a mean espresso, and is hell-bent on filling your bookcase with as many romance stories as humanly possible!
The story is a great addition to the Little Girl series, and while the story is the second, it could read well as a stand-alone. It will have Natasha and Silas from book one, and it will be through them that Ashley and James will meet. Natasha and Ashley have been part of the ballet for years, what started with Ashley part of the ballerinas, but never in a lead role, has changed and she is doing what she loves and is great at, creating costumes. For this new production, she is the lead costumer and creating unique pieces for the cast members is her forte.
“Daddy. That seemed right, like a key fitting right into a lock, a lock to a very heavy weight. Ashley hadn’t realized she been carrying until this beautiful stranger had said the words and awakened something in her that craved release.” --Ashley
The story will begin at the home of Silas and Natasha for their engagement party where Ashley is spending the night. During the party, a man watches her and eventually approaches her, but he never gives her his name, and they leave the festivities and go to her room where they have a night of passion, and he has her call him Daddy. But the next morning, he is gone, and Ashley is shattered—bringing in Natasha and Silas to care for her. It doesn’t take long before the story comes out and Natasha realizes that Ashley is also a little and needs support.
“She had many things to consider. Did she want to know this part of herself? The little girl? That soft and vulnerable side of her personality that she hadn’t shown the world?” --Ashley
What a shock to see the man she called Daddy at the club she is attending with Natasha and Silas, and he has a beautiful and lithe girl on his lap. Exactly what she wasn’t, she will be shocked and shattered and must escape, but not before Natasha sees who the man is, and she goes off on him. But with so many women only wanting to role play, how was he to know she was a little? Can he correct this and start over with her? Can Ashley have a chance to experience a DD/lg relationship without having a Daddy—but instead a teacher?
“Meaning that I’m not willing to be in a relationship with James, but I am willing to enter into a sort of learning arrangement?” --Ashley
“I mean you, little girl. You’re the best life has to offer.” --James
Natasha and Ashley will be able to have several open and honest discussions regarding the Daddy Dom-little girl lifestyle to help Ashley understand her feelings. Knowing she has a dear friend living the lifestyle helps and allows her to safely and comfortably pursue the lifestyle. When James sees the dangers she faces at her apartment, he insists she moves in with him for safety and shows her how good having a Daddy can be.
“She was safe, taken care of, and most all, she felt at peace with how everything was falling into place around her.” --Ashley
“Knowing that my Daddy is paying attention enough to my needs to correct my behavior, to know that he cares so much about me that he’s willing to hurt himself to do it. Daddies don’t like spanking their little girls. Have fun now, and have even more fun later.” –Natasha
A night out with the starring cast of the ballet will include Natasha and Ashley, but the venue will come as a shock and once there, ‘in for a penny, in for a pound,’ will become their motto. Silas and James are livid, and their little girls will feel their displeasure soon.
“You have to take your spanking first before you get to be my good girl again. You behaved badly. You played with your health and safety tonight.” --James
The story is a beautiful Daddy Dom-little girl tale with very mild age-play elements. Full of dreams, desires, and wishes coming true when two people who both have the same desires find each other. It is a learning experience for Ashley but one that James is more than happy to guide her into—because, with her, he has the little girl that he wants to be Daddy too. The story has mild spankings and sex scenes.
“She’d said she had wanted a teacher, someone to show her the ropes, but this man was everything she could have asked for. Patient, loving, kind, exciting to her in a way she had never imagined for herself. She hadn’t said the title in a fit of passion but had simply let what was in her heart out. He was her Daddy. She had known it from the start. And now, he did, too.” --Ashley
A quick delightful read with quite a lot of steam and a bit of role playing. Ashley's character is a bit timid young girl left with scars of mistreatment by family and fellow dance students alike. She can't really see her beauty and has pretty low self-esteem, only seeing what she feels she's lacking. She meets James and for a night she feels the stars align for her at last. But with morning comes disappointment and sorrow. By the time James realises what a jerk he was the damage is already done. Even though he regrets the pain he caused to Ashley he can't be sure he will ever get a second chance. Luckily for him Ashley wants to embark on a journey with him to explore this new found sensual side of her. James get his chance and boy does he take it. He gives himself over to feelings he wanted to suppress and shows with his every actions his true caring nature to Ashley. I liked this delicious little story. I didn't read the first book in the series and fully enjoyed this one as a standalone.

This is the second book in the series but can easily be read as a stand-alone. Ashley has given up dancing to pursue of love for costuming and is a success. Ashley is invited to attend Natasha’s engagement party where she meets a man who introduces himself as Daddy. They share a steamy night together but he is gone in the morning. She sees him at a club and Natasha confronts him, will Ashley give him another chance? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steamy chemistry. I loved it!
I enjoyed Ashley & James book. Good characters & book two of the series. An intriguing book that kept me guessing. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
I’ve never been into the daddy kink and and it took me a lot longer finish this book than it should considering it was fairly short (less than 200 pages). I really enjoyed the characters and I enjoyed the authors writing but the daddy kink just took me a while to get past. If you enjoy the daddy kink then enjoy this series cause it’s there. I would’ve gave it 3.5 stars if I could just because I never got into it as much as I should not because of the author or the story.
That's was it? THAT WAS IT??? I felt fucked over by that ending. I want more!! WHAT THE HELL. I'm not saying the book was goin but I'm saying that ending was fucking abrupt what the hell. Also they're like "oh this is an ageplay romance" and I'm like where is the ageplay??? Girlies you just say the word daddy???? People think you can say daddy once and all of a sudden it's ageplay or ddlg. Bruh I call my FRIENDS daddy what the fuck then I should be the king of ageplay I hate it here anyway good book
Mixed feelings – when everything was good, the relationship was super sweet but how it started and James's behaviour in the beginning was such a red flag.
Ashley wanted to be a ballerina but was never noticed or recommended for any lead roles. Tired of the situation, she switches and goes for her first love, which costuming. Now she is outstanding in this position and is noticed quite frequently. To the point that she becomes lead costumer recognized for the unique designs she had created for each and every cast member.
Ashley knows Natasha from the ballet they both attended for years, so it was not a surprise that Natasha asked Ashley to attend her engagement party and stay overnight.
During the party, a man watches Ashley for a while, approaches her, ends up in her room and introduces himself as Daddy.
They have a night of passion, or so Ashley thought until she is shattered after she finds him missing the next morning. Natasha realizes that Ashley is a little one too after getting enough of her story out.
Ashley is devastated when she walks in the club with Natasha and Silas and immediately spots the vanishing daddy. What? She has to get out there fast, and she takes off as quick as she can.
Natasha is fast too and sees who the man is Ashley spotted before taking off, and she goes off on him.
James thought Ashley was just wanting to role play; he misread her. Can he find a way to do her justice? Can he reverse the pain he caused her?
Will Ashley be able to learn about this new lifestyle she never knew she needed or will she be damaged for life?"
Can James teach her about being a little girl and her role and passion and the peace she will find in this new lifestyle?
What will happen between Ashley and James I'd love to tell you, but that would ruin the book for you.
If you are into this kind of niche, grab the book. It explains alot to Ashley as she goes on this new adventure.
Another delicious little story from Ms. Carter. This time around we have a dance company’s principal costume designer (Ashley) and her unexpected relationship with an underground MMA fighter (James). Their relationship gets off to a very rocky start, a one-night stand that means the world to Ashley but is totally misread by James, who slips away in the night. This initial encounter awakens Ashley’s deep rooted submissive persona and leaves her in a very deep sub drop. James, who being a natural Daddy Dom and should have recognized the situation initially, is devastated to learn that he has caused her such grief. His attempts to reconcile the relationship and make amends to Ashley is the basis of the ongoing story. A very sweet love story, with brilliant insights into the mindset of a little, and some extremely romantic scenes. A little light on the spankings, and the sex was not overly graphic, but the relationship was engrossing. 4 Stars. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Another book in this series by Rebel Carter – it is the enjoyable story of a 23 year old girl, Ashley, who wasn’t built to succeed as a ballet dancer, but is succeeding as a costume designer for the ballet. She meets James, and a steamy affair develops which educates her to the needs she has to have a Daddy figure in her life – helping her to be a better person by taking better care of herself. Both Ashley and James are solid, interesting characters who both grow through the story by having the other with them. It is an enjoyable book with only a modest amount of emphasis on the Daddy and sexual aspects of their relationship – but enough so you appreciate what it does for the two of them in developing the relationship. This is the second book in the Little Girl series and it can be read as a standalone. I have read book one. Meet Ashley, she tried to be a dancer but found she just was not getting any lead roles, this however is Ashley's second love. She decides to go big on her first love, costume designing and she is great at it. Ashley's self esteem and self image has taken a hit and so she really thought that she lucked out meeting James. He introduces Ashley to age role play becomes her Daddy for the night but in the morning he gone. This leaves Ashley from soaring to even feeling lower than before. Ashley and James paths cross again, leaving James with some explaining and grovelling to do. Does Ashley give him a second chance?

Ashley had once tried to be a ballerina dancer but she never measured up. She was a young woman that had the curves and that they laughed out when it came time to be fitted in her dance costume. She found instead that she greatly preferred to be in the background. Her best friend is Natasha and she tries to look out for Ashley as much as she can. Ashley meets her future daddy dom at Natasha and Silas' engagement party. James decides to have an fling with Ashley but he didn't recognize her as a little and almost does irreparable harm. They hit it off and he delivers discipline as one would expect. There are quite a few twists and turns. A great read by Rebel.

I liked this next book in the series. You do not need to read book one to understand, but it would be helpful. Ashley has been Natasha's friend since they were little. Ashley goes to a party they give and meet James. He has a one night stand with Ashley while outing her to herself as a baby girl. when he is gone in the morning, she experiences sub drop and Natasha and Silas take care of her. Eventually, they get back together and James starts to teach her how to have more confidence in herself.
I really enjoyed this book. The author does a great job letting the characters talk things out. I give this 4 stars.
Ashley is Natasha's friend from book one. Don't worry, this book can be read as a standalone. Ashley has no idea she's a little until she hits a party one night and her life changes. Mistakes are made, but sometimes you just need to give someone a second chance. A do over. Can she trust him enough again to call him daddy? It's a big step for Ashley who just wants someone to see her as good enough. As far as punishments go, she's never been spanked. Can she go thru with it? Not a terribly long read, but I enjoyed it. Hand.

I enjoyed this second book in the series. This one finds Natasha's friend Ashley meeting up with the mysterious James from the first book. This second book has a little less drama than the first, and primarily focuses on the developing relationship. The slower pace was nice, and the story flows well enough to keep things interesting. Ashley and James were both likeable characters and worked well together. This has been a fun series, and I really liked the little hints about characters likely to appear in the next book.

This is book two in the Little Girl series and can be read as a standalone. I missed Natasha and Silas's story in book one but after reading about Ashley and James I will be going back and reading it. James is a daddy dom. He has a one night stand with Ashley leaving her to face sub drop alone. He didn't realize she was a little. She didn't know either. But now he wants to be her Daddy but she doesn't trust him enough yet. So he helps her learn about being a little girl. Just a good book that I whole heartedly recommend I received a free copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review

A good daddy/little story This one starts off strong and hot! For me, there is a fine line that daddy/little stories walk. I like the strong man taking care of his little girl, but I hate when the lady is so childish that she is more a baby then adult because the relationship is adult. Rebel Carter did a great job with Ashley. Natasha and Silas were great characters and James well he got better. I enjoyed the book and will be looking for others by Rebel Carter. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Ashley works as a costume designer at a top ballet school with her friend who is a ballerina. She meets daddy dom James at a party at her friends house but the next morning she is heartbroken when she is alone dealing with sub drop. He eventually comes to his senses and tries to regain Ashley's trust in order to delve into the age play dynamic.
I have read the previous book in the series and absolutely loved it but I found the start of this one a little slow but it picked up and I enjoyed it overall.

This was a fast paced story with Ashley, principal costume designer, struggling to find out what it means to be little. At an engagement party Ashley runs into James, who is a underground MMA fighter and a DOM. James doesn't realize that Ashley is a true little until days later when Natasha who is best friends with Ashley tells him what happened to Ashley after he left her in the middle of the night. This is a sweet story that you can't help feeling the emotions coming from both of the main characters. This is a 2nd book in this series but it definitely can be read as a stand alone.
This story is about Ashley and James, there initial meeting went very wrong when James left without realizing that Ashley needed him after he awakened something within her. Ashley realizes she is submissive and also a little whilst James is a Daddy. This book explores the relationship between the two and how James makes things up to Ashley for hurting her. It’s a well written story that looks deeply at the mindset of the characters and their needs.

I enjoyed this story. It's very well written with great characters. The interaction between Ashley and James is hot and spicy. He needs her. Poor Ashley discovers she needs a daddy. The storyline is interesting and the characters from the first book in the series help flesh it out. This book can easily be read as a standalone but I recommend the first book is also read. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I highly recommend it. A very enjoyable and sweet story.
Ashley is the second book of the Little Girl series. The story can be enjoyed as a stand-alone read, even if the couple from the former book, Natasha and Silas, do play a part in this book as well. In fact, it is because of Natasha and Silas that James and Ashley come together.
I was so in love with James and Ashley. She is such a sweet woman and James is a stern, yet loving daddy. I hope there will be a lot more books of this series.
This is the 2nd entry in the author's "Little Girl" series. I was wondering where she'd take James, and here we have it--he gets his own tale.
"Ashley" is similar in style to "Natasha", a sweet, more intimate love story. There's less actual danger or conflict here, mostly about the budding relationship itself and yeah, James has his initial moments of obliviousness.
Still, I love these so much, and I can guess who's likely to be the focus of the next volume--can't wait!
This is a fast pace romance filled story with steamy scenes and tons of spice. The Hero is strong Alpha male who knows what is needed and when. The heroine is feisty sweet strong and stubborn she does not trust easy. The Hero makes a mistake can he fix it or will it be the end before it even starts. Can these two have more then a few spicy nights. There is only one way to find out. Get the story you will love it.
I loved this story even more than the story from Natasha and Silas. I just hope that Sam will also find his little. James is a little lost but when he is informed that what happened between him and Ashley was not role play, he just lets his inner dom to be released. Hot scenes included.

Another engaging story by Rebel Carter featuring the best friends g the couple from the first book in the series. A Daddy Dom and the woman who finds her little create an enjoyable read.
This story is a sweet romance with some elements of age play. This is a standalone with a HEA. i really hope there's more from this author this was really well written
