This the 3rd book of the Chandler Hill Inn series and was just as good as the other 2 books. The characters in all 3 books drag you in and you laugh and cry with all of them.
Louise “Lulu” Kingsley is thrilled to discover after years of wishing for a sibling, Cami Chandler is her half-sister,
Cami invites Lulu to live with her at the Inn and she jumps at the chance. Lulu's father was a politician and he just died. That's when she found out about Cami. She also meets Miguel and what she thinks of him is wrong and can they ever have a future together,
I was sad that this is the conclusion of the series. If you like to be invested in characters and getting to know the whole family dynamics then I suggest you read the first 2 books but you can read it as a stand alone.
I received this from Judith Keim and NetGalley for review.

I love coming home to Chandler Hill and to get the time catch up on the vineyard and wedding venue business. This time Cami brings her half sister, Lulu Kingsley to live with her in Chandler Hill. Lulu is desperate to leave California and a broke heart. Lucky for Cami Lulu can really help out with marketing the inn and winery. I enjoyed this one a lot and had some pretty sad turn of events with grandpa. As a stroke nurse I really resonated with it and broke my heart.

I loved this for a great family drama read with contemporary women issues that focus on family, and the winery and inn with amazing characters you will love to read about.

When I began to read the first book of this series, I wasn't certain if I would continue with it. At the beginning, I was frustrated with the main character by her actions. Then, as I read on, I began to realize several factors which contributed to those actions. First, she was VERY young. Second, when Lettie was born she was immediately put into the foster system with all the perils and situations that can arise. Despite that, she was very bright and eager to learn. As a result, faced with several life-changing challenges, she rose to each challenge and even became more of an accomplished woman in her own right. As a matter of fact, she became a matriarch to a wonderful winery and prestigious Inn, with generations of family following in her footsteps to continue to uphold her values in what she created with the winery and the Inn. None of that would have happened without her strength of character and determination to keep a promise to those who first gave her a chance. The following books continued with her family. They were all wonderful and I am so glad I didn't give up on that first book in the early pages. The whole series was terrific!

It was wonderful to go back to the Chandler Hill Inn and read the conclusion of this wonderful series. The setting in the vineyards in Willamette Valley is beautiful. The characters are well written and since this is the last book in the series, I'm going to miss them.

This book is about Lulu. Her father was a politician who had just died. After his death, she found out that she had a sister that she never knew about so to get away from the political scandal that happened after his death, she decided that she wanted to meet her sister and was thrilled that her sister and family met her with open arms and offered her a job at the Inn if she wanted to stay. As she handles marketing for the winery, she finds out that she's happier than she's ever been and thrilled to be part of her new large family. When she is called back home to help deal with her mother's increasing depression, she finds out how much she misses her new family and can't wait to get back. Plus she has a potential romance to deal with. She finds herself getting close to Miguel even though she feels like he's involved with many other women. Will she have a happily after ever with Miguel? Will she continue to find happiness and acceptance at Chandler Hill Inn??

This book is a fantastic ending to this series. The characters are well written and likable and the scenery at the vineyards make you want to take a vacation there. I have really enjoyed getting to know this family and will miss reading about them again.

Thanks to the author for a copy of this book to read and review.

Home At Last
By: Judith Keim

REVIEW ☆☆☆☆
As I understand it, Home At Last is the conclusion of a series. I have not read the previous books, but this one is fine as a standalone. The story is classic women's fiction with the perfect blend of elements. The characters are easy to like and sympathize with because they seem like friends. The story is moving, charming, absorbing and warm hearted with all the feels. I enjoyed reading this feel good speak to the heart story. I hope to read more by Judith Keim.

In this wonderful conclusion, to a heartfelt and emotional trilogy set in Oregon’s stunning wine country, Judith Keim has tied up the Chandler Hill series with the perfect bow. Lulu and Cami’s characters' evolve beautifully, as they navigate everything life throws at them, and their stories leave an indelible message on your heart. Even if it’s not where you expect it, when you find it, there truly is nowhere like home.

Thanks go the publisher and Net-Galley for the complimentary copy of Home at Last by Judith Keim. I have read this women’s fiction novel with strong romantic elements for the purpose of expressing my view and opinions which are not influenced in any way.

Home at Home is the third book in Ms. Keim’s Chandler Hill series. I read the first two books and enjoyed them immensely, so I couldn’t wait to read Home at Last. This novel reunites two half-sisters, who have only recently discovered each other.

The writing pulled me in right away and kept me engaged until the end. The character development is solid, and the plot is unique. While I’m glad I read Home at Last, it wasn’t as amazing as the other two were, but still an excellent book.

Louise Kingsley, aka Lulu, character has many aspects of her personality I enjoyed, but there were a few I found annoying. She vacillates quite a lot between which man she wants. I’m not a huge fan of love triangles so that may have affected my overall enjoyment a touch. She has reason to fall back on the tried and true she’s known from her political father. Also, she has good reason to have concerns regarding faithfulness in a relationship. My issue came from her back and forth from one to other.

Miguel Lopez is our hero and I enjoyed his character a great deal. He’s a loyal grandson and friend. His issues aren’t as involved as the heroine’s. He easily attracts women, and has, since his teenage years. This causes unnecessary flags raised in Lulu’s mind. He isn’t a “lady killer” he’s just an engaging man, who he appeals to females with little effort. He’s an all-around good guy, willing to extend his hand of friendship.

The romance isn’t the strong focus of this book, and that’s easy to see from the first. Although that’s not to say it’s a lovely love story. Lulu’s issues and problems and learning to live with them and resolve them is the central premise. She is getting to know her sister, and she has a complex relationship with her mother. Her father was a womanizer. All these issues are enough to affect her life. I’m happy to say I enjoyed her resolutions.

If you’re looking for a novel that deals with real-life issues with intricate relationships, then you will enjoy Home at Last as much as I. I’m so glad I found Ms. Keim’s novels and look forward to reading future books by her. Happy reading!

This heartwarming book is an enjoyable read. I enjoyed catching up with characters we've come to know and love. Lulu deepens the bond with her half-sister Cami, grows closer to her mother and is drawn to Miguel, but can she learn to trust love again? The backdrop of the wedding venue and vineyard businesses made the book even more interesting.

What a beautiful conclusion to this fantastic series with family as a strong foundation. This is the third book in this series and I loved it as much as the first two books. This book focuses on Louise “Lulu” Kingsley, the half-sister of Camille Chandler. After her father’s death, Lulu visits Cami at Chandler Hill to strengthen their bond. While there, Lulu meets Miguel, the great nephew of Rafe, Cami’s grandfather. She tells herself that Miguel is a player and to not get involved with him, but their one night together has consequences. Grab your copy and see what happens in this wonderful small town read. I bet you’ll want to visit and get to know all these wonderful characters.

This is the 3rd book in the Chandler Hill Inn series and this was a story that tugged at my heartstrings and many times brought tears to my eyes.
I received an ARC from Judith Keim and NetGalley for an honest review so I am going to tell you what I think. You can read what the book is about so I won't tell the story but there is so much more to the story than you will think. Lulu's mother suffered from depression and Lulu thought she had to be responsible for her. Depression is a serious condition and so many people suffer from it. Having a mother who suffered from it, I liked what the doctor told Lulu when her mother tried killing herself again. You aren't responsible for your mother, she is responsible for herself. She could be there for her mother but it was going to be all up to her mother. They have new medications that he was going to try and see what happens.
Lulu's father was always away so she didn't know who he was as a man but after he passed away, she discovered who he was and she also discovered she had a half-sister. We see Lulu trying to distance herself as his daughter and finding her own identity.
Lulu thought all men were like her father and she would never find the love that she saw others had. You will have to read the book to find out how that works out.
The book is about relationships, building dreams, and carrying on with what was passed down to you.
So many people are struggling with different things today and I don't know if this was Judith's intentions when she wrote. I don't think so but the book but for me was, no matter how low she felt, or what she was going through, she found a way to keep on living her life. She found her sister, her mother, a new family and the love of them all. There is so much to this book and as I am writing my review, we are in social distancing. On April 13, it is being released and what a great way to stay connected to your friends by you all reading this book and talking about it. I think everyone takes something different from the books they read and can't wait for my friends to read it so we can talk about it. If we can be together when the book comes out, it is still a book for you and your friends to read.

Home at Last is the third book in the Chandler Hill Inn series written by author Judith Keim. Each book in this series can be read as a stand alone, however, I strongly recommend reading the entire series.

Home at Last is the story of Louise "Lulu" Kingsley. Lulu has not had it easy, despite the assumption she has lived a pampered life. Her father was a famous politician that died recently, and on top of that shock, she also learned she has a half-sister, Cami Chandler. Needing to escape the heartache in her life, Lulu decides to spend time at Chandler Hill Inn and Winery...taking advantage of the time to bond with Cami. She instantly falls in love with the property, as well as her new family. The one thing that Lulu never expected was to find a place to finally call home.

Home at Last is a beautifully written story about love, family and friendship. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with all of the characters from the series, but I especially loved seeing the relationship blossom between Lulu and Cami, as well as Lulu and her mother, Rosalie. Of course, I have to mention Rafe, who has always been my favorite character in this series. He immediately becomes a sort of grandfather type role model to Lulu, and the love they have for one another is a beautiful thing to witness.

Of course, there are some unexpected twists and turns in this book, and that is part of what makes this story so special. There are characters faced with difficult choices, and the decisions made by them only make them stronger in the end. I also love the fact that Judith Keim was not afraid to cover a difficult topic...depression and addiction. I felt this was handled in an extremely thoughtful and realistic manner. Without revealing too much, I will admit it warmed my heart to see this character take it one day at a time and finally learn to shine in the end.

Overall, this is truly a wonderful addition to the the Chandler Hill Inn series. Judith Keim definitely knows how to perfectly weave together a beautiful and heartfelt story.

I would like to thank Judith Keim and Wild Quail Publishing for allowing me the opportunity to read and review this book. My views are my own, and are in no way influenced by anyone else.

Home At Last is the third book in Judith Keim’s Chandler Hill Series. In this book we find that Louise (Lulu) Kingsley has joined her half-sister Cami Chandler working at the Chandler Hill Inn and Winery in marketing and filling in wherever she is needed. As she makes connections with the other series characters, she finds a strong attraction to Cami’s cousin, Miguel Lopez, which takes her down the rabbit hole.

After a passionate night with Miguel, Lulu receives an urgent call to return to Southern California as her mother has suffered an overdose. Leaving immediately and being away for some time, Miguel prepares to leave for Chile where he will work with a sister winery to learn what he can to bring back to the trio of wineries the family group has in the Willamette Valley. This separation is not conducive to the growth of this budding relationship.

While helping her mother gain strength and purpose, Lulu also finds her own and returns to Oregon where her mother, Rosalie, joins her for the holidays. Rosalie becomes enamored with the area and the people in Lulu’s new family, and makes plans for her return. Lulu, still distraught from her congressman father’s death and the secrets uncovered as a result, finds herself in a precarious position after the holidays, but focuses herself on helping others, especially her mother.

This is a very interesting series and an easy read. With great settings and rich characters, this series will entice those fond of the genre. I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it!

Wonderful End of Series

What a fitting end to this series. This book focuses on Lulu, half-sister of Cami. After her father's death, she decides to come to the inn and get to know her half-sister better. Lulu is really at a crossroads of her life in several ways. She wants more from life than what she had as her father's assistant. She's become a bit jaded because of all that she has experienced on the political road as well as her childhood, which was not a good one. This book is really about family, on several levels. Lulu works on her relationship with her mother, which was never very good before. She becomes true sisters with her half-sister, Cami. There is even a love interest angle that becomes fraught with tension at the end. It's hard to describe this book precisely, as it feels like a slice of life (but in a marvellous way). The characters are very well drawn and feel real. There are not the big ups and downs, with lots of conflict and tension (though there is some) as you often see in books, yet it is still a compelling page-turner. The series was my first introduction to this author; I look forward to reading her next series as well as digging into her backlist. I enjoyed this series that much.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Lulu is settling in at the Chandler Hill Inn after being invited by her newly-discovered half-sister, Cami. After a life of living her father's politics, she is ready to be away from the spotlight and his scandal. Lulu found she loves taking pictures and working the marketing aspect of the Inn and Winery. She also catches of the eye of Miguel, but, after a brief encounter, finds she needs to step back. Lulu's mother has a setback that causes a return home. which happened to be be good timing for Lulu to get away and deal with everything that is piling on her plate. During that time, she meets with William, the guy her father wanted her to marry. That encounter makes her realize that California was no longer her home and she needed to get back to Chandler Inn where she feels she now belongs. Lulu now has a nickname "Weezie" that she uses when people recognize her from the political scene, a place she wants to forget. Lulu now knows she is home to stay and she would deal with Miguel and tell him the truth. Things happen for a reason and Lulu is finding that out as she settles into her new life. Thanks to Mrs. Keim, Wild Quail Publishing, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

In this third book of the Chandler Hill series, we get to uncover the story of Cami Chandler's half-sister, Louise "Lulu" Kingsley. Lulu's father had an affair with Cami's mother and kept it a secret until after his death. Lulu is sick of a life in the spotlight because of her father's political ties and allegations of his sexual affairs and harassment, so she takes Cami up on her offer to come live in Oregon at the Chandler Hill Inn & Winery.

Moving to Oregon presents Lulu with a fresh start for her career, love life and maybe even her family ties? But will she really leave the life she has in LA behind? Will Chambers, her father's protege and her long-time friend will try to convince her to stay, to build a life with him and enter back into public life as a politician's wife. Meanwhile Miguel Lopez seems to have captured Lulu's heart - but she is resisting given his reputation.

In this final installment - we get to see another story unfold of discovering who you are, mending family relationships and what it means to come home.

This can be read as a stand alone book, but since I read the second book in the series, I would recommend reading them in order as it provides more context & depth for the characters.

Home at Last by Judith Keim is the third book in the Chandler Hill Inn Series. I enjoyed reading about how Lulu is bonding with her half-sister Cami and feeling the comfort of more family. She loves her grandfather Rafe.
Cami is a fast-thinker and turned an intended insult around when she was approached by a person who recognized her as being Congressman Kinsley's daughter. Even though she cringed inside, she innocently acts as if it is mistaken identity, She says she is, "Weezie Lopez". Smart girl!
Cami is excited to jump into the marketing and promotion for the inn. She takes beautiful photographs and is developing the website. She is putting her past disappointments behind her and going forward with hopes for a better life. She said other girls may want a fairy godmother but she always wanted a sister.
Soon lulu is faced with another troublesome event in her life, Her mother suffers from depression and tried to commit suicide. Lulu drops all of her plans and rushes to help her mom.
I don't want to post spoilers, but there is a lot going on in the final Chandler Hill Inn story.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

HOME AT LAST by Judith Keim is the third book in the Chandler Hill Inn trilogy but can be read as a stand alone. Louise (Lulu) Kinsley discovers she has a half sister Cami Chandler. Cami invites her to live at the Chandler Hill Winery. Lulu is more comfortable living and working at the winery than her old political life and is happy with her new family and friends. LuLu always felt her mother kept her at a distance since her brother died in a tragic accident. When she gets a call her mother is int he hospital, Lulu returns to California to help her mother. With the right medication, Lulu and her become closer. LuLu realizes all that her mother has lived through be married to her father. Lulu is attracted to Miguel Lopez, the kind of man you cannot forget. When a heartbreaking tragedy occurs to LuLu and when Cami's grandfather dies, Lulu realizes that life is too short to not follow your heart.

I enjoyed LuLu's story of finding her way to a life she loves, the family she always dreamed of, work she enjoys and reconciling with her mother. I will miss all these characters that feel like friends. Thank you to Judith Leim for a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

A heartwarming story of two sister’s finding each other. Cami and Lulu had the same father but neither knew of the other’s existence.

Cami leads a quite but productive life running and building The Chandler Hill Estate, left to her by her grandmother. She was surrounded by the love of friends and family. Lulu was always in the limelight by the side of her very active and controlling political father. But the limelight was something she never wanted and she suffered all the bad repercussions that went with it.

When they learn of each other, both set out to find answers and to try to understand. While this book focuses more on Lulu and all she’s endured and thus must overcome, Cami also plays a big role here. We see how they become true sisters. We get to share in their struggles and watch them celebrate their victories. We get to see how they become ‘family’.

Lulu described it best when she said: “Together we can do anything,” believing it with her whole heart.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

In Home At Last the author continues the saga of the Chandler Inn and Winery.
This book follows Lulu who is the daughter of a prominent senator and an alcoholic mother. She has also recently found out that she is the half-sister of Cami, the owner of the Chandler Inn and Winery. When Cami offers Lulu the opportunity of work, Lulu gladly escapes her life in California and comes to Chandler Hill.
Although family and relationships are the reoccurring theme of this series, Lulu struggles to accept both. Distancing herself from her old life and trying to find where she belongs in her new environment is not easy. Heartbreaking and heartwarming, what Lulu eventually does find is nothing she expected.
Thank you to the author, Judith Keim, for writing a book that shows how much family is wanted and needed. Especially now that we have become socially distanced from each other, many are finding what a real family is again. Thank you to the author and also to NetGalley for an early copy of this book. The comments and review are my honest opinion

Lulu Kingsley was so excited to discover that she had a half-sister, Cami Chandler. When Cami offered her a chance to work at Chandler Hill, Lulu jumped at it. Glad to be leaving the political mess behind in California. She loves working there, meeting family and new friends. She meets Miguel Lopez, who she is attracted to. So much things going on in her life. She’s not ready for a relationship. When her mother falls ill, she rushes home to California. She helps her mother. She learning new things about her mother and how she can be strong. They start to get closer. She offers her mother a chance to go visit Chandler Hill and Cami, even though it might be difficult knowing that Cami is her late husband’s daughter. Will they all accept each other? Will Lulu end up staying and working at Chandler Hill? Will Lulu’s mother get better as time goes on? Will Miguel and Lulu realize they are meant to be together? It’s a wonderful story of, forgiveness, closeness and love. Awesome read

I have loved this series since I started reading the first book. The story is great. It’s about finding family, and love and becoming the person you really are. It was nice seeing the relationship between Lula and her mom grow. It seems that even though we think we know someone, do we really? It’s difficult to always know what a person has dealt with sometimes just from looking in from the outside. What might seem like a great life to us may be totally different if we were the one living it. Aren’t we all guilty of jumping to conclusions sometimes? How did that turn out for you? I love to visit Chandler Hill Inn, even if it’s just in my mind. I so enjoy hanging with Cami, Lula, Rafe, Drew, Miguel and the rest of the gang. I’m already looking forward to the next time we can be together. I received an ARC of this book but my opinion is my own.

I’m fortunate enough to when been able to read all of the books in this wonderful series. The first one was one of my all time favorite books. The story touched me. Each one since has been just as wonderful. I have enjoyed reading the journey of this family and all the characters that are a part of this series through the years. This book was wonderful to see two half sisters discover each other and get a chance to build their relationship. We got to read Cami’s story in book two and it was really cool to get her half sister, Lulu’s story in this book so people could see there is more to her than perceived. I’m grateful to Judith Keim, the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC to read in exchange for my honest review.

I’m drawn to charming small towns (esp. when they include wineries in the Willamette Valley!), the intrigues of sisterhood, and families finding ways to cope when their lives are unexpectedly turned upside down. This book checked all the boxes for me—I’m only sad it appears to be the last in the Chandler Hill three-part series. Judith Keim has an amazing talent for crafting books filled with characters you come to view as kin, and I look forward to what she’s planning next. Highly recommended!

Home At Last is the 3rd book in the Chandler Hill series, and I have enjoyed each and every one of these books. The characters in the book are wonderful and I have enjoyed watching them grow as a family, I hope this isn't the last book of the series. I would definitely recommend this book to those that enjoy a HEA.

Book #3: Chandler Hill Inn Series
Source: Netgalley and Wild Quail Publishing
Rating: 5/5 stars

At the end of book two of the Chandler Hill Inn series, we were introduced to Louise “Lulu” Kingsley, daughter to a depressed and submissive mother and a now dead, but formerly controlling, carousing, politician of a father. Needless to say, the death of her father and the subsequent revelations regarding his behavior have rocked Lulu to her very core and she has to find a way back to some semblance of a normal life.

For Lulu, a normal life has always been in the spotlight. As the daughter of a prominent politician, Lulu has become used to the scrutiny, the photos, the headlines. Unfortunately, since the death of her father and the revelation of many, many of his darker secrets, Lulu has come to realize, the spotlight is nowhere near where she wants to live her life. One of her father’s greatest secrets is the existence of Cami Chandler, his illegitimate daughter and Lulu’s half-sister. Though Lulu initially wanted to hate Cami and all she represents regarding their father, Lulu has come to like Cami and love the life she has at Chandler Hill. In the months since her father’s death, Chandler Hill has become something of a refuge for Lulu. With her background, she is able to help out at the Inn and loves the feeling of acceptance she feels from everyone around her.

Though Lulu never intended to stay at Chandler Hill, the life she could have there looks better and better as the days pass. Lulu’s greatest concern is her mother, whose life has been less than stellar thanks to her father. In the wake of her father’s death, Lulu expected her mother to become worse, but with the help of her long-time friend and caretaker and her doctor, Lulu’s mother begins to make great strides. As a part of her recovery, Lulu’s mother visits Chandler Hill and faces Cami and the consequences of her late husband’s deceit. As is wont to happen, Chandler Hill works its magic and Lulu’s mother falls in love with the location. What’s more, Lulu finally begins to see her mother for who she really is, under all the years of neglect and mistreatment.

Though Lulu sees her life at Chandler Hill as being perfect, there are still several obstacles she has to overcome. Some are related to her present and future, and others are related to her past. Breaking away from her past life comes with challenges and Lulu begins to understand that some people simply have to be left behind in order to move forward. As hard as it seems, Lulu meets every challenge and every obstacle with the help and support of both her old and new family. Building her new life is heartbreaking, beautiful, difficult, and completely worth it in the end.

The Bottom Line: What an emotional and wonderful story this was to round out the Chandler Hill Inn trilogy. Like all the other women in the family, Lulu has an uphill battle ahead of her, but with the strength of those around her and the ones who came before, she is able to adapt and overcome all her obstacles. This was such a fitting end to what I assume (though I don’t KNOW) is the end of this series. From start to finish, the Chandler Hill Inn series is a family saga that covers all imaginable circumstances, situations, and emotions. The series is filled with likeable and endearing characters that face real life challenges and deal with those challenges in real ways. I found so many of the characters to be very real and relatable, which always going to be a plus for me. When you add in the beautiful setting that evolves just as the characters do, you certainly have a recipe for success. Finally, this last book has a lovely epilogue that really brought everything full circle and for that, I was especially grateful. A well-worth-reading trilogy!

Happy Monday, friends! I'm excited to be one of today's tour stops for @judithkeim 's novel, Home At Last: Chandler Hill Inn, Book 3. Though this is the third and final installment of the Chandler Hill series, it's another cozy stand alone book that has been a comforting escape as our world goes through so much unrest and uncertainty.

While the preceding two books in this series focused largely on Camilla "Cami" Chandler and her journey to find love, happiness, and success as the young business owner of Chandler Hill Inn and Winery, this third installment focuses more on Cami's half-sister, Louise "Lulu" Kingsley.

When Cami invites her to live with her at Chandler Hill, Lulu jumps at the chance to leave behind all the heartache in her recent life. Not the spoiled little rich girl the media would like everyone to think, Lulu digs into marketing for the inn and winery, feeling more comfortable there than she ever did in California with her political father. Better yet, her mother is becoming a stronger, happier person and shares the idea of becoming part of a new family.

Additionally, love may be around the corner for Lulu. Even though she is aware that Miguel Lopez is the kind of guy who represents everything she’s trying to forget, she’s attracted to him. Following a heartbreaking situation, she steps away from their relationship. Lulu settles in at Chandler Hill, coping the best way she knows—by working hard. But when Cami’s beloved grandfather, Rafe, has a stroke, Lulu realizes life is short and knows she must make things right with Miguel, and learns that home is where your heart leads you.

Although I wasn't nearly as connected to Lulu as I have been with Cami, I still enjoyed this read and the wholesome, simple values it celebrates. If you're looking for a cozy, sweet romance, look no further! Thank you to both #judithkeim and @katerockbooktours for the opportunity to read and review this uplifting read.

Lulu has run away to visit her half sister Cami. After discovering that her father cheated on her mother and her father’s death from a heart attack, Lulu decides to leave California to go to Oregon to spend time with Cami. She becomes not only the marketing director but she also makes the attentions from Miguel Lopez, a part-owner in the winery. When her mother attempts suicide, Lulu is called home and begins getting attention from an ex-employee of her fathers, who wants Lulu to oversee his political campaign, not to mention his political D. Lulu is stuck between two men and has to figure out what she wants to do with her life, especially after major events begin happening. I appreciated the subjects the book delved into it. This book is your typical, Hallmark movie, kind of romance. I thought this one was perfect for a rainy day, when you’re looking for an obvious happy ending and being curled up in your cozy slippers. This book tastes like your favorite kinds of comfort food. Definitely one to check out if you’re looking for a daydream type of book.

Lulu Kingsley is reaching out to family after her father’s death revealed a half-sister she has never known. There is no doubt they are related. Cami Chandler looks just like Lulu but the resemblance ends there. Cami has always had a circle of friends and supportive family, Lulu was raised in a home full of her father’s politics and the heartache of her mother’s depression. When Lulu arrives at Chandler Hill she finds a job, a family, and the support she has been missing, and the home she has always wanted. She also finds herself pulled between Will and Miguel, two strong, charismatic men who would take her future in opposite directions.

The storyline has some beautiful scenes along with family drama. Judith Keim has created characters with interactions that are believable and some of the subjects the story deals with are poignant. Although this is the last book in the series, it is the first one I have read and now I want to go back and read the other books.
