Overall Opinion: This was an enjoyable read. I liked the characters and was rooting for them from the beginning, but I felt like their connection and the romance was a little surface level. There was a good bit of inner dialogue explaining all this time spent together and long conversations, but I was disappointed we didn't get to experience some of that depth into their feelings for one another. The epilogue was great, but again, I feel like overall it was a good way to cover all the bases and make sure we got our HEA -- but it didn't necessarily tap into the feels. It was a good book for when I was distracted by other things though, and offered me the escape I was looking for -- so the is that!
Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Sera and Thayer's story. Sera's little sister, and only family, has been consumed by a mc (and not in a good way) and she is struggling with getting her help. Thayer used to be president of this mc until he was betrayed by his club. He realizes that Sera has an in to spy on the activities in the club so he can get revenge, and Sera is happy to finally have someone to help her get her sister out, so they form an alliance. The super strong attraction they both feel heats up instantly, but both are hesitant to let it get far and potentially in the way of what they need to do. There are some violent scenes, some hot sexy times, and some good closure...and they get a HEA ending.
Point Of View (POV): This alternated between Sera and Thayer's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good, but a little slow in parts. I might be feeling this due to all the other stuff going on at the time I was reading this too.
Instalove: Kind of, but I felt like it was partially all the other stuff going on in the story that contributed to me feeling that way. Instalust? Yes.
H (Hero) rating: 4 stars. Thayer. I liked him. I appreciated how he wasn't ever wishy-washy in what he wanted. If he wanted something, everyone knew about it and he followed through.
h (heroine) rating: 4.5 stars. Sera. I really liked her. She was strong, loyal, protective, and confident! Great mc chick imo.
Sadness level: Low, no tissues needed
Push/Pull: Yes, a little
Heat level: Hot. They have some hot tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.
Descriptive sex: Yes
OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) drama: No!

The wait for this had legit killed me!. Dramatic, yes. But when she told us she was bringing out another MC that would have nothing to do with the Henchmen I wasnfucking BEAMING. See Jessica has a nack for writting characters that in my head I can visualise as clear as day. From the way the look to their mannerisms and all. So to have a whole new world of characters and an mc series that's a little darker is a fucking bonus to me.
Betrayal is what burnt in Thayer's mind for those years he spent behind a bars. He was set up, betrayed by the very people who should of had his back. They should've fallen in line. The biggest mistake they made was turning on their president but not only that betrayal stung. See he had a long time to plan his course of action. To come to terms with the possibility of coming back for the homestretch because you don't get to live when you've taken everything he loved away.
Thayer was groomed for president since childhood. Him, his two brothers and half sister were made for MC life. So what happens when the only family you've ever known not only turns on you but tries to kill two gets one sent away and the other well.. that is a secret. Thayer came out of prison like a bull on a rampage ready to take them all down. He was ready for it and fuck the consequences because they deserved everything they got right?. What a juicy character he was!. All hard, jaded and cocksure I was excited to see where his characters would go and how deep we got to delve into all that made him him. You won't be disappointed with him! There is so many layers and so much to learn.
Sera hasn't had an easy life but she did the best she could with the life she had. She had to be a mother at 5 to her little sister because they had no one else and that made her grow up quick and see all the ugly just so Joey didn't have to. She shielded her as much as she could until she couldn't anymore and that's when her life really went to shit. I love her characters strength and determination. I adore the sass, fire and quick witted remarks. Just everything about her I loved.
I loved this story!. It's full of raw grit sitting in that grey area of good people who do shady shit. It's fresh and new and like nothing else we've read from her. A great story with substance and a plot that draws you in immediately. I didn't want it to end. The characters are larger than life and take over in the best ways. I love me strong heroines and Jessica just gives me that and more.
Strong characters and a fast paced action packed plot with a few twists, what's not to love?.
Betrayals and heartbreak, revelations and new found friendships and love. A fresh start in a new world with endless possibilities!. I felt everything, connected to the characters and devoured their story. I can't wait for what's to come with this series so all I have to say is bring it on.

Why yes this is a brand new series from Jessica Gadziala NOT in the Navesink Bank universe and guess what?? It rocks just as hard.
Three brothers and a half sister who ran the Reckless Renegades MC and a strip club called Peaches that was handed to them by their father when he died. Today, years after a mutiny that stripped them of their club which landed MC President Thayer in jail, his two brothers shot and his sister missing, Thayer is released from prison with one thing on his mind... Revenge against the man who stole his club from him.
Two sisters. Sera had to grow up fast and raise her younger sister Joey and did everything she could to shield Joey from the ugly of the world. All her plans are shot to hell when her younger sister falls under the spell of the new President of the Reckless Renegades who little by little removes her from her sisters life and gets her hooked on drugs as a way to control her. Sera has had enough and only has one thing on her mind.. Revenge against the man who stole her sister and changed her with all the ugliness of the world she had been trying to protect her from.
As with any book this author writes you immediately fall for these antihero men and their ladies. With their upbringings and way they lived their lives neither Thayer nor Sera ever had thoughts of finding the one and being in a long term relationship but with the mutual goal of revenge against the same man they find themselves attracted and wondering about a future together.
I am looking forward to the other brothers and their sisters books. We were given some big teases at who might end up with who and I hope those come true..

I wasn’t expecting any of that, but I freaking LOVED it all.
It was smexy, gritty, edgy and even though there were some dark moments in there, it was a fun read that I absolutely devoured it in one sitting and am really wishing the next book in the series was on the #Kindle...like yesterday...because I NEED more of the Reckless Renegades crew stat!
I adored Thayer and Sera. Sera is a strong, hard working woman. She hasn’t had the best life, and may be struggling to keep things on as even ground as she can, but she gets it done. I loved her wit and how loyal and protective to those she called her own. Thayer is an enigma. He is all kinds of big, bad outlaw ex-con biker alpha AF male, but even though his moral compass is a bit skewed in some areas, he has a heart of gold.
Sera and Thayer’s journey to their HEA was a lot fun. The way they first collide was definitely not the norm, but even from that first unconventional meeting the spark was there and I loved watching it grow even when they didn’t have a clue as to what they were doing. I loved their bantering, the smexy was HAWT but I just loved them together, they had a flow that totally worked for me and was very happy with how everything turned out for them.
This is my first read by the author and I’m doing that whole kicking my own arse for not picking up one of her books sooner and patting myself for finally taking the plunge (All while trying to figure out how to get all of her previous books into the reading rotation). I was hooked from the first page and couldn’t put it down. The writing was engaging, the pacing was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed the dual first person POV’s. And as you all know, I love me some well written secondary characters and this one is chock full of them. Bea and Calloway are my favs, but I cannot wait to get to know Hatcher, Joey and Roux better ~ so bring on the next book!

I loved going into this new world with brand new people to get to know. Jessica the rock star she is has written this amazing new MC series! Thayer just his name is amazing is a very loyal stand up man. When there are wrongs against him or his family he sets about making it right anyway possible. He takes his responsibility to his brothers very seriously. I absolutely love these men. I can’t wait to get his brothers stories! Sera (again withy the cool name) also has the role as provider for herself and her little sister Joey. She has sort let life bring her down. Going at it alone. I really enjoyed Thayer and Sera getting together supporting each other! If I can get my way I will have Jessica writing this series for years to come. So many good people and stories to come.

What a fantastic start to a new MC series from Jessica Gadziala. This book drew me in from the very first page and I didn’t want to put it down. I loved Thayer and his siblings, Sera and her sister. I loved how BA the girls in Jessica’s books are. They aren’t weak. They are each so strong in their own unique ways. Fighting back when the world tries to take and take from them. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series!

Emerging from prison after more than two years in what he has come to realize was a set-up, Thayer is thankful. Thankful that although a criminal must forfeit illegally-obtained cash, all personal items must be returned, so his Submariner Date Rolex can fund Thayer’s return home. Thankful that his two actual blood brothers survived (albeit barely) being filled with bullets during the bloody coup that one of their former MC members staged to take over the MC Thayer’s father had tapped him to run. Real thankful for that, but that’s pretty much it. Otherwise, the only other sentiment running through Thayer’s veins is retribution.
Together, the brothers start to plan how to take out Doug, the backstabbing douchebag who convinced their little sister to betray her brothers and relinquish control over the strip club and other legal assets of the MC. Serendipity (okay, so technically, it was kidnapping for purposes of interrogation) leads Thayer to beautiful Sera, who regularly visits MC headquarters, and this meeting sets off a chain of events that changes all of their lives. Sera visits her sister Joey at the MC headquarters once a week because that’s all Doug allows. Joey only ever saw the best in people and hooked up with charming traitor, Doug. Doug, in turn, hooked Joey on heroin. Now Joey is a drug-addled shadow of the sweet girl Sera raised, so Sera is quickly converted to the cause: take out Doug to free Joey.
Brotherhood. Sisterhood. Love. Legacy. There is no better way to sum up the themes and lessons of this story. This is not a romantic romance book – in the rough world of the Reckless Renegades, love isn’t evidenced by sentimental verses, or flowers and chocolate. True love is proven by actions and steadfast loyalty. Fantastic start to what I hope will be a long new MC series from the amazing Jessica Gadziala.

This is a great start to a new series by a favorite author! Make sure you clear your schedule before you dive into this gritty MC world with Thayer and Sera, because you will not want to put this one down! I loved the world Gadziala created and the secondary characters add so much to the story. I can't wait to read their stories as well.

She’s done it again. Jessica Gadziala created a new MC series and book one, Revenge, is really, really good!
Thayer’s inheritance from his father was the Reckless Renegade MC and he lived the good life leading it and sharing it with his 2 blood brothers, Calloway and Hatcher, as well as his MC brothers. That is until Doug staged a coup that turned the brothers against Thayer, landed Thayer in prison, and resulted in Hatcher and Calloway shot and hiding to avoid another attempt to kill them. Now out of prison Thayer has one thing on his mind: REVENGE. Take back his MC back and take out the disloyal brothers, especially Doug.
Beautiful, stubborn and strong willed tattoo artist, Sera raised her sister Joey and Joey is the only thing that really matters to Sera. Doug charmed his way into Joey’s life then got Joey to naively move into the MC with him. Doug hooked Joey on drugs and is keeping her virtually a prison in the MC, subservient to him and needing him as her supply line. Limited to visiting Joey one day a week, Sera needs to find a way to get her sister out of the there and save her before it is too late.
With a common goal of taking Doug down, Sera and the three brothers team up, with Sera being the eyes and ears inside so the brothers know what they are dealing with when they make their move.
The book is more than a story of revenge and retribution it’s also a story of love, family, responsibility, brotherhood, sisterhood, empowerment, perseverance, strength, forgiveness and so much more.
I really enjoyed reading Revenge. I loved following Thayer’s and Sera’s love story as much as I loved the world created around them. The secondary characters were all amazing: Hatcher, Calloway, Joey, Roux and Bea. I cannot wait for each and every one of them to get their own HEA. If I have one complaint its that I wanted more: more background, more build up, more character development, just more Reckless Renegades. When it comes to books, being left wanting more is not a bad problem to have.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold"
Jessica Gadziala has decided to grace us with a new MC universe & dammit I'm hooked!! I'll be honest I was a little unsure going into this book because I dont like to read MC books where theres internal problems in the club. I like my MCs to be together against the world not each other but I knew this book wasnt going to be like that. I didnt need to worry though 💁♀️ I knew if Jessica wrote it then it was going to be good & I was right!!
Thayer was absolutely amazing. I loved his loyalty & his determination to get his club back after all this time away. He takes care of the ones he loves with a fierceness & will put down anyone who tries to hurt them.

Jessica Gadziala has decided to grace us with a new MC universe & dammit I'm hooked!! I'll be honest I was a little unsure going into this book because I dont like to read MC books where theres internal problems in the club. I like my MCs to be together against the world not each other but I knew this book wasnt going to be like that. I didnt need to worry though 💁♀️ I knew if Jessica wrote it then it was going to be good & I was right!!
Thayer was absolutely amazing. I loved his loyalty & his determination to get his club back after all this time away. He takes care of the ones he loves with a fierceness & will put down anyone who tries to hurt them.

Edgy... Sexy... and Amazing!! This story is different than other books by Jessica Gadziala. It’s harder, and the MC is not as clean as Navesink bank. But I loved it! I thought Thayer and his brothers were a great mix of personalities. They are definitely interesting! Sera was tough, and loved her sister so much to go through everything to get her safe. I can’t wait to get more of this crew. I’m excited to see where this crew will go. There is so much potential for more amazing stories! I love the hard and edgy feel! Definitely something that should be read!

I would have liked this book a lot more but it had
so many huge plot holes
that just irritated me and ruined the book.* I couldn't get past some of them and they made me think less of Thayer and his brothers in such a way that I had a hard time embracing him.
I liked Sera and Joey and Bea. But the way Bea's long disappearance was just glossed over as though it didn't leave any lasting issues wasn't believable and just glossing over the climactic end without asking "how" showed the author needed it to be this way but didn't now how to make that happen so ignored it. And what happened to Abe? Did I miss that?
Finally, don't MC members have family that miss them when they get killed and buried in the back yard?

This one is like all her books, phenomenal!!!
It's a "light" MC book, not that we haven't some kaboom and hard topics in this one, but this book concentrates more on the protagonists and the story behind the main story. It's a gripping story about sacrifices for the family and for the idea of a good life.
It's an emotional, exciting and heartwarming story about taking responsibilities for someone, who is more important than yourself! It’s a story that teaches to never give up on the loved ones.
Thayer is the definition of a bad guy, but only on the surface and of course when necessary on the outside 😈
He has one purpose in his life,
take back his club and protect his family.
Sera is a hard working, fixating on survive women, whose life is dedicated to her sister.
Two people who don't think about their life or happiness and take responsibilities for all disasters that happen in the environment of the people they love.
She bites and claws her way through life and takes no unnecessary risks.

Two hearts that only gives and never take for themselves.

Jessica Gadziala's new MC book has started out with a bang in Revenge. I loved getting to know Thayer and Sera and how their pasts have shaped them into who they are today. Jessica's strong, determined female characters are a joy to read. This is a great start to her new Reckless Renegades MC series and I'm eager to discover the stories of the other characters.

I loved this new series and can't wait for more. JG once again has written a book with awesome characters and good flow. This book pulled me in and basically held me hostage until I finished it. So good and I highly recommend it.

Blissed out!
That's how I felt after reading the first book, Revenge, in a new MC series by one of my favs, Jessica (queen of amazing epilogues) Gadziala!👍
I couldn't wait for this book to be released, and being that I devour anything she writes I actually held off reading it right away because I knew I would be missing it when it was gone😏. I was spot on....I want more....already!! But thankfully she wrote amazing epilogues to hold me over and give me a glimpse of what is to come....I can't wait!
This series has all the right stuff to be a great one.....sexy alpha brothers who head off m MC, enough angst to keep you guessing and rooting for a hea.....and then there are the fiesty heroines ...all her secondary characters feel like main characters...she has a knack for bringing you into all of their lives while still giving the actual main two their own story. Oh and did I mention the time spanned epilogues?!😋 Lol....ya they rock!
If you haven't read one of her books yet...give this one a shot, I'm betting youll enjoy the ride as I sure did!!😉

I am so in love with this newly minted MC series and can only hope that Jessica Gadziala continues to be inspired enough to keep this going for as long as the Henchmen, if not longer.

I don’t know what kind of magic JG weaves in between her words but it makes me want to be apart of the worlds/families she creates. Thayer maybe my absolute favorite! ( I call dibs ) lol. Seriously I love love love that you can see the bad parts of life are needed to enjoy the good parts all the more! Love that Thayer was the perfect counterpart to Sera,and he never tried to change her bitchiness and all! Sera was the perfect badass chick that handles her shit in stride without expecting help from anyone. These characters are refreshing and great to see how different they each are. I did expect a little more darkness maybe more angst when I heard an edgier MC series was in the horizon BUT I realized this was the perfect amount for JG’s book and I’m sure we will get that in Joey’s story. I absolutely cannot wait for the next one!

My girl did it again!!
Loved it. I would have read it all in one swoop if I didn't have to go to work. Loved the story line, kept me interested in what was going to happen next. Great first book of the series and perfect introduction to the family with out giving too much away but still leave us craving the rest of the families books. If I could double the rating I would.
