June 16, 2019Indirect speech marks the book. No cause and effect. A few information bits. Typical Pakistani establishment mindset. Mentions only personal qualities. Ignores impact on the public level. No balanced view. Lame excuses appear justifying blunders of dictators and high ups. Praises ayub khan but totally ignores gigantic events like, Sindh Basin Treaty, political dissent, developing alternative leadership, 1965 war, constitution, handing over government, and likewise. Appears he met only one good person, i.e., Masood Khader Posh. The book provides no help to understanding.
