Confetti: Unruly Bits of Poetry, Prose, and Essays

Rate this book
Poetry leads our brain down pathways we don't typically walk. I would consider my poetry designed so that a turn of phrase or an image generated by my words makes you consider something new or different. It's my greatest wish that this work spark inspiration, curiosity about yourself, the world and yourself in the world. I've added one or two questions at the end of each essay, prose, and poem to facilitate your mind opening even more. A well-timed question can crack open a problem that you've been trying to solve for far too long. I trust that this book will open to the page and questions you most need on any given day and you can trust your intuition here, too. Please don't read this book in order or feel that you have to finish it! Grab it, think about something and flip the book open two or three times until you see just what's needed to pull the thread on that old outworn sweater you're wearing! Write in the margins, underline, don't dogear the pages we don't want to go completely insane here after all! My point is may this book be used and useful. May it bring you as much comfort, joy, and inspiration as it did me in the writing of it!
