Plenty of flavourful sounding recipes that are not at all reliant on fake meat. I read on KU but may well buy a copy to keep.

I liked that the recipes were presented in single serving size. I do wish the quantities were a little more precise though - I suspect my idea of a handful may be a little more generous than it should be!

There are suggestions on how to make many of the recipes vegan, but it isn't necessarily clear whether the author has tested these and whether the instructions need adjustment for these swaps (e.g. do all plant milks cook well?).

I haven't checked whether all recipes included still come in at around £1 given the soaring cost of food since publication but would expect all to be fairly reasonable, particularly if you make a few swaps (e.g. grilling cheese vs halloumi).

A great selection of meat free recipes. Easy to follow, can be adjusted for dairy free and gluten free, so a winner for me.

I'd've hung onto this book if I could for future reference. I found it straightforward but original, and I liked each recipe being for one, so you could scale up if needed.
