Working with clients all over the globe (including the UK, mainland Europe, America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa), I’ve coached CEO’s, managing directors, small business owners, police staff, doctors, veterinarians, nurses, HR professionals, housewives, counsellors, corporate executives, ex-athletes, a renowned scientist, solicitors, and many more titles.

I’ve also delivered keynote speeches for 150 senior managers in NHS England, and spoken at TEDx Warwick, Red Smart Women Week, and more.

I sincerely hope I can help you too, whether through my books, coaching, or through other means. ❤️

Last year I read countless non-fiction mental health books, not just as a sufferer of anxiety but as a practitioner too. Sam's book is hands down one of the best I have read, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Also, I am a huge fan of Sam herself after reading resilient me; her words really resonate with me.
Sam gives advice about feelings that come with anxiety and offers quick and easily implemented solutions. After a car crash, my anxiety had heightened, and it had started to completely control my life, I had started to fear to become a shut-in. But Sam explains psychopathology disorders, such as anxiety and depression don't need long-winded techniques. Sam describes her three-pillar system for overcoming anxiety - identify the cause of the anxiety, identify the solution to overcome the threat, take thoughtful action to resolve the action. The book explains how anxiety is an indication that something in our lives isn’t right and by activating the three pillars and using the five calm strengthening habits described in part 2 can root out what's going wrong and thereby helping to resolve your anxiety.
Sam explains how to embrace feelings of anxiety in order to make effective changes to your day to day life in just a matter of weeks, or for some even less. My mind is certainly a lot less cluttered, and I feel so less overwhelmed, and most importantly calm and living without fear.

I believe I will reread this book in the future.

I appreciated these points from the book:

3 pillars of calm
1. Identify the cause of your anxiety.
2. Identify solutions to overcome the threat.
3. Take thoughtful action to resolve the issue.

5 Calm Strengthening Habits
1. Create self-serving, positive thoughts.
2. Regulate your emotions with intention.
3. Build positive relationships, prune away negative ones.
4. Indulge in proper self-care.
5. Use problem-solving thoughts and behaviors.

For any threat, ask four questions:
1. Who or what is the source of the threat?
2. How are they threatening my mental and/or physical well-being or survival?
3. Who or what would help me prevent or completely eliminate the threat(s)?
4. How can I make these changes so that I can prevent or eliminate the threat(s)?
