Resolutions
Jane and Mike’s romance was a lot of sweet, a dash of spicy, and cute touches of humor! Mike discovering Jane’s New Year Resolutions list was the best twist and made this friends to lovers rom-com novella a delightful read!

Bear with Me
Chellie and Tanner have the whole fated mates trope happening and I loved it! Social influencer and a grumpy bear shifter...these two had me in stitches!

Blind Date With A Book Boyfriend
Talk about a meet cute! Mike was adorkably sweet, hilarious, and knew his romance books! Jordyn was just as sweet and funny. I loved that they both came out of their comfort zones and had the time of their lives.

I’ve never been to The Ripped Bodice, but Lucy made me feel like I was hanging out in the store watching Mike’s shenanigans to capture Jordyns attention! I also loved Fitzwilliam Waffles cameo as well as the lovely list of recommendations Mike and Jordyn mentioned throughout the story.

4 1/2 "Just right, Sweet as Pie" Stars!

These three short stories were just what I wanted them to be. Cute and sweet as pie with some very nice heat thrown in. I would read more of every one of these stories, but they all pack a lot of goodness into about 100 pages each. I was satisfied. Highly recommended shorties. Happy reading!

RESOLUTIONS
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Friends to lovers with lots of sweet moments and steam. There seemed to be gaps in the story where I was thinking, "What just happened?" and "Did I miss something?". But it had lots of heart and some serious steam.

BEAR WITH ME
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was NOT prepared for this to be a shape shifter romance (I didn't notice it in the blurb). Turns out it's not MY thing, but the book was well written and I LOVED that the female lead was the vapid girlfriend we are prone to dislike from the first book. Character complexity is important to me and writing a story about a character we may have previously disliked and who we now adore is some GREAT writing.

BLIND DATE WITH A BOOK BOYFRIEND
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I usually prefer full-length novels, so I am a hard sell on novellas, but THIS is a great Novella! Mike and Jordyn were the cutest couple! I loved the diversity, loved their shared love of romance novels, loved their banter, loved ALL OF IT!!! This novella was laugh-out-loud funny and epically sweet!

I really quite enjoyed all 3 of these novellas! All are solid 4-star ratings. I loved the quick reads for each, where I could sit and read the whole story in a single go, and then come back for the next later. All very unique and completely different, and a couple seasonally appropriate for right now - Christmas/New Years. They do come in a different order than shown on the cover, but they aren't really too interconnected, so doesn't matter what order they are read in!

Book 1: Resolutions -
Very cute, and seasonally appropriate... takes place right around New Years Eve! Jane and Mike have been best friends since the day they met 3 years prior, accidentally when a beer is spilled, and mutual attraction is unfortunately denied due to one or the other always being in a relationship. Things finally change and together they work on her New Years Resolution list together - and get moving on that very important number that she hasn't ever been able to fulfill before.

Book 2: Bear With Me -
This one tells the story of the gal that Mike from the first book (Resolutions) had been seeing previously, Chellie. She's an Instagram influencer and they never really did suit each other. He breaks up with her after nearly a year when he decides it's finally time and they can't take the relationship any further, and a week later he is engaged (as we learn the full story of in Resolutions). Chellie has a bit of a fit, videos are posted to social media, sponsors freak out and drop her, and her manager helps her out with ways to get past it. She ends up booking time at a remote cabin in the woods, where she goes off and comes face to face (through a window) with a bear! The owner of the place, Tanner, doesn't seem concerned... but it turns out that he's actually a Bear Shifter and that was him, and they are destined.

I'm not into shifter romance, not in the least, so while this was a cute little and very short introduction to something that Lucy Eden writes in the shifter world, I know that this is absolutely not my type of sub-genre and to continue to avoid it, but the little taste was about as far as I will dip my toe, and this was done in a cute way.

Book 3: Blind Date with a Book Boyfriend -
This was my fave of the 3! Adorable meet-cute in a bookstore, where Mike starts talking to Jordyn while she's looking at some wrapped books, which are titled "Blind Date With a Book Boyfriend" - where shoppers can get a surprise romance book. He happens to have read and know which books they are, and tells her, so she doesn't pick something she's read before. She's super surprised, though, that this hunky guy is hanging out in the romance section, and knows and has read these books!

They hit it off, spend the day exploring the city that she's visiting - in town for a job interview, and day turns into overnight. She is super drawn to him, as he is to her, until a truth is revealed and she has to decide about the job interview she has come to town for, and moving to the city and being near to him is worth it.

Fantastic story, well written and keeps you guessing and rooting for them! Loved it!

All well written, all great stories, fantastic characters, chemistry, and romance. New fan of Lucy Eden! I will definitely be going back for more (the 3 chapter teasers at the end are definitely leaving me wanting more of those books).

These were great short stories, all different but all great.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Resolutions

This is a short friends to lovers romance, and I loved the story. The book is from Jane's point of view as she deals with her emotions regarding Mike.

Jane and Mike are best friends but Jane has a crush on him. To try and take her mind off a missed opportunity she compiles a list of resolutions to complete, but once Mike see's the list he decides he's going to help.

I loved how these two were with each other, they really were best friends and could read each other like a book. Mike was the perfect boyfriend material, always thinking ahead and his ideas were always thoughtful.

This is a great book for an afternoon's read, nothing too dramatic but its not as simple as just getting together, they have things they needs to deal with first.

I loved how the epilogue was from Mike's POV, it gave a little inside into how he feels about the relationship.

This is the first book I've read by Lucy Eden and I think I may just stalk all her books now!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bear With Me

This is a short sweet shifter romance.

This story follows on from 'Resolutions' and I wasn't sure I was going to like Chellie, but she definitly grew on me. She wasn't the self-centered person I thought she was going to be.

Chellie enjoys a wild party after her breakup from Mike, however it is splashed all over the internet and threatens her career, so she heads of for a mountain break to try and re-group. She is not prepared for the change in lifestyle, however she does throw herself into it. Tanner owns the mountain cabin and can't seem to stay away from Chellie.

This was sweet, watching them get to know each other, and then she finds out he's a shifter - which she handles really well, and it does fit nicely into the story. But if she wants to be with Tanner, she's going to have to make a huge change in lifestyle.

The epilogue is from Tanners POV and I liked seeing his side of things.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blind Date with a Book Boyfriend

I really loved this story, its like the perfect date for a romance book lover as it starts in a romance book shop. It is a standalone and not linked to another story.

Jordyn is in town for a job interview her her dream job when she bumps into Mike at the book store, they have an instant attraction and end up spending the day together doing all sorts of fun things. Then they discover something that puts a huge wedge between them.

I loved watching these two fall for each other, there was great chemistry and you could feel it through the story. I loved the crazy mum who followed her daughter constantly on IG. Mike was the perfect boyfriend material, he loved romance books, wasn't afraid to have fun and mess around and was willing to do what he could to keep Jordyn in his life.

The epilogue is from Mike's POV (which I am finding is a theme with this author), and I love seeing the perspective of the guy.

Fun, quick, steamy. I read these multiple times already and I know I'll keep going back when I need a quick mistake that makes me giggle and swoon simultaneously.

Bear with Me: Growly shifter goodness with an unlikely pair: a lumberjack and an Instragram model.

Blind Date with a Book Boyfriend: A must-read for anyone who loves books, bookstores, and instant connection. It's a book lovers fantasy, with a sexy CEO thrown in!

Resolutions: A best friends-to-lovers/rock star/bucket-list romance? Too many tropes? Nope! It's sweet and perfect.

Pretty much my three favorite tropes: Friends to Lovers, Fated Mates and the best damn meet cute (in a romance bookstore y’all!) ever to happen to romance reader. These gems are perfect quick steamy HEA guaranteed to get your mind off your quarantine. Loved all of them.

3.75 read across the board. I like Eden's style a lot. It's super laid back and chatty. My only real issue is that I'm Bad At Romance Novellas and this was three romance novellas. These were super sweet and fun.
