The Grey Man- Down South

Rate this book
After too much action, too much peace gets on a man's nerves. John Cronin's back from Vietnam and bored, when Billy Moore suggests he check out the brand new Drug Enforcement Agency. He'd expected paperwork and meetings; he got on-the-job training in South America with stakeouts gone wrong and ambushes exploding into firefights. This isn't Cronin's first rodeo, and now he's taking the fight to the cartels, from the laboratories hidden deep in the highland jungles to the enforcers in the cities and secure compounds! Novella 34,500 words.

Good story telling the background of the grey man, and filling up some side comments made in the series about past adventures.

A JLC. DEA/Military Action Adventure in South America (TGM B - 7) (DS)

JLC. has penned the seventh novel in the Grey Man series, which takes place in the countries in South America. The primary areas of operation were the northern countries of South America. The different Cartels of the time are prime players as they use their different techniques to transport the two primary drugs. Cocaine and marijuana. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Great backstory

A great backstory on how John left the Army and what he was involved with before becoming a Deputy Sheriff. Highly detailed in drug interdiction in the early period before the joint military efforts. Great read!

Good entertainment

Good read with well known main character in John. Nice to see his intro into the life work after the army . A bunch of characters to keep track of in the story. I found myself having to re read some portions. I did truly enjoy the book.

Great addition

These are great stories. I’ve enjoyed all of them. Hope there are more to come.
That’s all. Why a 20 word requirement?
