A well-researched attempt to turn Romanticism and Goth into a magickal tradition, though the dialogue is very on-the-nose in places. But if you just take it as food for thought, and not canon gospel, it works very well indeed.

I recommend this one to anyone who's played Mage: the Ascension. It dispels practically everything that's said about the Hollow Ones in any of the other books and makes them, in my opinion, the most badass of sects in the oWoD. I think it's even got some merit outside of the game setting; the idea gets danced around with a lot, but I can't remember ever reading about an organization specifically dedicated to preserving romance through espionage and guerrilla warfare.
