Episode 2: Mafia Gods: The Revenge of Set
With TJ’s return to his human form, I’m no longer forced to watch him suffer in silence. Now, the truth will finally come out on whether I can be with the others as well, or will I lose TJ in the process? Much to the others’ dismay, Loki has returned, but something is different about him, something I don't fully understand, and I think he knows more than he lets on. When Ra returns and announces one of the immortal gods has been found dead, it shocks everyone. How could a god, who lived through disease and disaster, be dead? Were they murdered?

Ra's shocking announcement that Persephone, one of the immortal gods has been found dead, shakes Min to her core. It's not possible unless the Devourer killed her but even that doesn't make sense. So Min demands to see her body. Min doesn't find what she needs and is left with more questions and guilt. Drowning in her own loneliness she sees now that she may have acted selfishly and cruelly. Now with this second chance, she is determined to be better, to do better.
I am amazed by each episode of this serial. Each one has such depth and conveys so much emotion-filled story that it hardly seems possible with its length. And it just keeps getting better! As much as I loved The Curse of Ra serials, these may be even more entertaining. The first ones introduced all of the gods and gave us Min's history. Now we are all caught up and this new mystery and the complication of Srijan are enthralling. I am still not a fan of Ra's personality but he did have a decent moment. However, I am a huge fan of the other gods and can't wait until they get more one (or two) on one time!

This is getting so damn good I cannot wait for the next chapter to come out. I so want to hate Ra but I don’t think I can now after all of that. If you haven’t started this serial do so now because it’s amazing and I highly recommend it.

Well that was a lot of information revealed but still so much is still left unknown, very interesting where this is going can’t wait to read Episode 3.
