Using the stars, I divine the perfect match for my clients, but in my own love life? I’m jinxed!

I’m astrologist Autumn Whitethorne, and I use the magic of the stars for matchmaking—one look at a person’s birth chart and I can predict who their perfect soul mate might be. My office at Conjure is decorated with pictures of the matches I’ve divined, but in my own life, I’m jinxed. Not even an astronomical dose of Love Potion No. 9 can save me from spinsterhood.

Quinn Harrington, the only man I’ve ever loved, left five years ago, and no matter how many times I read the stars, there’s no hope for a happily-ever-after for us. When Quinn unexpectedly returns to Raven Falls, vowing to mend our relationship, I resist falling under his spell again.

Quinn claims revealing the truth about why he left could put me in danger. Danger comes calling, anyway, when one of my spells leads us to a powerful corporation determined to chase Quinn’s family, as well as me and my magickal sisters, out of town.

Can I save our family homes, as well as resurrect my tangled love affair with Quinn? Or will our ill-fated future, written in the stars, doom us and everyone we love?

Of Stars and Spells is the third book in the Sister Witches of Raven Falls Cozy Mystery Series. Join a set of magickal sisters as they solve paranormal mysteries that fans of Charmed, Hocus Pocus, and The Good Witch will love. ***Bonus recipes and craft instructions in every book!

Of Stars and Spells by Nyx Halliwell was another exciting addition to Ms. Halliwell's Sister Witches of Raven Falls series. A quickly paced plot that features Autumn Whitethorne and her magical abilities that she must use to help her ex-boyfriend, Quinn Harrington, and his family. An evil witch, men in black and Quinn's brother, Charlie, missing presumed dead all lead to a complex mystery for Autumn and her sisters. I would love to visit their shop, Conjure, and spend time with them. An entertaining afternoon read that can stand alone but the previous books do help to understand the Whitethorne sisters dynamic.

The author provided me with a copy of this book to review. This did not influence my thoughts and opinions in any way. All opinions expressed are my own.

Five years have passed since Quinn and Autumn, seemingly star-crossed lovers, have seen each other, but their love has survived the distance, both physically and emotionally. While it hurts being left as she was, she also knows how deeply Quinn was struggling with the loss of his brother. Decisions were made, lives were forever changed, and, sadly, time went on without Quinn.

Quinn knows he reacted badly to his brother's death, but grief makes people behave in ways they normally wouldn't. For him, that meant running from all he knew and the girl he loved, his stargazer. But now, with his dad injured and their family farm needing help, he's home, and just might be for good. However, that's not the only thing he's hoping to repair.

As Quinn and Autumn reconnect, their bond not only grows stronger, but so does their love as it matures and becomes what it always should have been. With every minute they spend together, they fall for who the other has become and just know being apart a second time is something neither will survive.

Unfortunately, while exploring the life they will have, trouble begins shadowing their every move and it's getting closer every day. And there just might be a surprise that no one expected when the mystery is solved.

One-click now and follow along as two people, soulmates in all ways, reconnect and embrace the fate that's always awaited them. I am absolutely loving this series and am currently devouring the fourth book, already sad at the knowledge it'll soon be complete.

**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**

Book 3 in the Raven Falls Mysteries sees us move into Fall and it's time for Autumn Whitethorne's story and what a story it is.

Now I'll be honest out of these four magical mysteries this one, Autumn's story is my absolute favorite and here's why...

I love that Autumn uses astrology to match-make for people, I love how much she loves the stars, her passion for life is amazing and even though she feels her own love life is jinxed I seriously love that she never gives up on anyone.

Time and Space is another reason why I love this story, other dimensions, sound and frequencies and how everything is truly possible, even the totally impossible and again Autumn never gives up once she had and idea in her head she finds a way..

Autumn and her sister's are so much stronger together, their family bond is amazing and it really links this series all together.

I love the descriptive writing from different scents coming from the shop to Autumn's morning jogs I feel like i am right there with them in Raven Falls and I truly can't wait to go back.

Of Stars and Spells is even better than the first two books in the series and I can't wait to read Winter's book. Nonstop action highlights this third entry in the Sister Witches of Raven Falls. Nyx Halliwell has captured the essence of the strength of familial love as well as romantic love as the sisters face challenges as witches in a world that both seeks them out for help and entertainment and looks down on them and fears them for being different. Autumn's long-time love returns seeking forgiveness and bringing disturbing news about a government group that is moving into the area. The everyday events of the cozy style mystery fascinate and tie the reader to the delightful characters. The mystery grabbed this reader and held her to the end of the fast-paced tale.

If you like all things "witchy" then you are going to love this new series by Nyx Halliwell! When I write a review, I don't reveal the story. A book is so much better when you find out how things play out by reading it for yourself. This book was so much fun. This very imaginative and creative book takes you on a journey full of surprises filled with twists and turns at the flip of each page. I love cozy mysteries and a cozy mystery about a family of witches is even better. This is the 3rd book and is about Autumn, one of the sister witches. If you read the other two books and thought they were about great sisters, then this is going to be an even better surprise. If you want to dive into a book that offers great entertainment you need to grab this book. While you are at it, you need to pre-order the next book of the series. I'm sure that you will enjoy it as much as I did! Happy Reading!

I loved this book! And I am enjoying reading this series during the season in which each book is set. And boy does this book have all the best Fall feels! The mystery is intriguing, the romance felt real and not contrived. The magick in this series is extremely well done. I love how these sisters are there for each other no matter what, I can’t wait for Winter so I can read the next book that I already have.

Brew yourself some Pumpkin Chai tea, burn your Leaves candle, grab a fuzzy blanket and enjoy this magickal book. 🍂🎃

As with the other two volumes in this series, a good, gripping story but in dire need of proofreading. At times the love interest's name was spelled Quin instead of Quinn, and there were many words missing or the wrong word put in. I would say this story was better than the first two, with more engaging characters and a better flow to the action.

Wonderful

This book is very well written. The story flows and you feel like you are right there with the sisters. I love this series. If you like clean copies with a touch of romance and paranormal, you have to read this book and this series. Loved it.

Another enjoyable read. The sisters are awesome; each with a different talent. However, when they work together to put out a fire, something very unexpected happens. I'm looking forward to seeing how the stories end but will be sad when it's over.

I thought this was a bit better than the first two books. The human bad guy was still a bad guy after the ending. There was one part that really stretched my suspense of disbelief. But on the whole, a much better book.

I am always surprised how much it packed into less then 200 pages. But I adore this little series, just a feel good story about love and family, wrapped up in magic and mysteries. Totally my cup of tea!

Page turning, very good. I hope the 4th installment wraps up the Demon subplot that has been running through the 4 book series.

This one was a little out there. Can the government do what was in this book? Yes. But still eerie to think about it.

Of Stars and Spells is the third book in the Witches of Raven Falls series. As it is October and the season changes into fall, it is only fitting that Autumn Whitethorne’s story is ready to be told. Autumn’s specialty is astrology; she has helped many customers find their soulmates, she herself has no one. Quinn Harrington, the one that touches her soul, left her in a hurry after his brother Charlie disappeared. When he left, he broke any connection he had with Autumn and left without any explanation or further contact. When Quinn’s father has a life-threatening accident, Quinn returns to make sure his parents are okay and that the family business keeps running. When Quinn finally tells Autumn why he left in the manner that he did and that the whole town is in danger, Autumn and her sisters work together to make sure the entire town survives. Once again, we see the power of Autumn working alone, but together with her sisters, it is unstoppable.

All the characters are wonderful; however, one character I really enjoyed was Mama Nightingale. Mama N runs the local grocery store and has her own special powers which she uses for good. She seems to be a little maternal to Autumn and her sisters which is what they need with the death of their mom. I couldn’t help but laugh when she delighted in Hoax, the mockingbird, who uses colorful language instead of copying what others say. She thought he was better than a parrot and I can’t help but agree.

Ms. Halliwell truly crafts a great story. The descriptions that she uses make me feel like I am there with them seeing what they see, smelling the scents that emanate from their shop and feeling the excitement they do. I love the close-knit Whitethorne family and how in tune they are with each other. Each sister has her own special type of witchcraft that she specializes in, but their powers definitely complement each other.

Stars and Spells can be read as a standalone book; however, it is definitely well worth it to read the previous two books as well. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review that is my own.

These are fun reads but you need to start with the first book to get to know the characters. In this one Autumn's long soul mate, Quinn Harrington, returns after leaving to join the military to look for his brother. He has been gone 5 years but the spark is still there between them. After all, they have been lovers in many past lives so this one should work out if she can only forgive him for leaving her with no explanation. As the story progresses, Autumn finds that there is a big reason that Quinn left looking for the body of his dead brother. Winter, Autumn's oldest sister, sees ghosts and she has searched everywhere for Charlie Harrington but he is not dead. So, where is he? Autumn finds out by accident and it nearly causes a major disaster but these are happy books so there is a happy ending. These are wholesome and interesting and if you like magick and witches you'll love this book.

LOVED this book! Another winner in the series - this one focusing on Autumn and her former boyfriend. I loved reading her tale and learning her history. The author created an engaging and thoroughly entertaining story that kept me hooked from the first page until the very last page.

Fans of the genre will love this book and want to put it at the top of their TBR list. In addition to great characters and story, the author has woven a thread through the books in the series that make it interesting. However, while this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel. The author is on my must read authors' list.

This was the 3rd book in The Sister Witches of Raven Falls series. We’ve met Autumn from the first book, of course. I always liked her character. She had positive vibe around her, and this kind of character was always my favorite, in real life or in books. She felt her love life was jinxed, there were trouble brewing and coming their way, yet her positive attitude never waived. Loved it!

Was this a standalone? Hmm… I really recommend you to read the previous 2 books first, so you got the big picture and could enjoy them all in maximum way.

I was provided a complimentary copy by the author / publisher, but this in no way influenced my thoughts or opinions.

Another great read for this cozy mystery series

August, a magickal witch, and Quinn, a secret intelligence officer with his own agenda, are star crossed lovers destined. As the story progresses Nyx Halliwell’s Of Stars and Spells is another winner for the Sister Witches of Raven Falls. I love how she keeps delving deeper into the history of the small town while exploring the magickal world she has created. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to wait for Winter’s book.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This is the third book and Autumn's turn. This series has me so hooked. I just gobbled this book right up. I could hardly put it down. I love the mystery and intrigue with romance. Autumn and Quinn may get a second chance with Quinn's return to Raven Falls. Along with his return there is danger for this witch community lurking. With every book in this series it just keeps getting better and better. This is definitely a must read! I'm looking forward to the last book in the series to get some questions answered.
