This was a delicately dark read that I devoured in one sitting. It was delicious and full of angst. This author is starting to become one of my favorite reads!

Ally Vance delivered with this book. It stayed true to Blaire’s World and the author was able to give delicious darkness that made it irresistible. I devoured every word in this masterpiece.
The character development in this book is flawless. Ally adds the type of character depth that will have you feeling such strong emotions that every second immersed in her stories is like being right there. I love the attention she puts not just to the main characters but every character in a book, even the ones you hate. I fell in love with both main characters. My love of Luka may cross to obsession though and I have claimed him. He’s mine! The world building was consistent throughout and absolutely vivid, even the scenes that made me cringe were perfectly detailed.
This story had me on the edge of my seat. I needed to know what happened and the author wrote a fast paced book that kept me in suspense. The twists had me holding my breath and I couldn’t put it down. I was emotionally captivated in the best way and my only complaint is that the book had to end! An absolute must read.

This is book one in the Blaires world spinoff and talk about starting off with a bang.
Evelina is a brilliant character. She’s so strong and courageous. Luke gets so much more than he bargained for with her.
This was so so good. I do love a well written twisted story so this was an ideal read for me.
I need to read more by this author. I hope she busy writing 😉

Dark, but delicious and captivating.
Evelina by Ally Vance is another fantastically dark addition to Blaire's World.
Evelina was taken when she was still a child, kept in the darkness and broken by evil, nasty men.
Luka is a bad man, he doesn't feel alive unless he has a weapon in his hand.
They're both living in the darkness, can they find their way into the light.
Even though Luka is a bad man, he still has a heart and realises what he has done. Evelina still has a fire in her, even after everything she has endured. Together they fight to be free.

I started 2019 with an ARC of Evaline and let me tell you I don't regret signing up for the arc. This book is a must read If you are a fan of dark books you definitely need to have this baby in your library. From the very first page till the end this book takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride full of emotions. From having mixed feelings about the characters till curiosity to know more, this book contains all the elements to grab the attention of the reader.

This is the first book in the spin off Blaire’s world I have read and loved it . If you have read Blaire by Anita Gray you will love these books very Blair esk and dark.This is the story of Serafina and how she gets out of her nitemare

Hands down—This is by far the best book I've read by Ally Vance! It is so well written and that alone make this book earn 5 well deserved stars!
Let's start with the well appreciated quote at the start of the book. And the immediate suspense at the introduction! Wowzas, I was immediately blown away!
Evelina is captivating as a K Webster book and I don't say that freely!
The Russian language was a nice touch to the overall dialogue of this book. There were even words I had to pull out my dictionary out on, which is always a plus for me. Vance can totally nail a sex scene! Talk about hot and heavy!
Love the significance of the meaning of a "perfect mirror," that's so great! Didn't see that one coming...
However, I question to believe a mother would leave for work after her daughter has been missing for 4 years and the quick desire of wanting a man after the brutality this girl endured!
Overall, this book is filled with suspense and held my attention entirely and I found myself anticipating each chapter. The synopsis lived up to the dark tales it promised! 5 Amazing Stars and a MUST READ if you're a lover of dark romances!

I couldn't wait to get this book and I weren't disappointed. Loved this. As this is an ARC I can't divulge too much. I can tell you I loved this so much that I couldn't put it down and read until the early morning hours. Do make sure you read this.

Luca was supposed to kill all girls hidden in Maxim's basement. One escaped - but he will find Her and get his answers. He is not The darkest male caracter I have read about but... he had something in himself that called to me. A monster but not exacly A monster to The Core, but is he?
Characters were Great, plot kept me on The Edge, connection was palpable - what more can I ask for?

What do I even say about this one? I have never read anything from the Blaire series before, so the whole human trafficking/underage sex ring thing really got me out of my water. Mind you, I was reading a sweet innocent YA book prior to this one and the transition was very jarring.
Needless to say, this book is dark and potentially triggering to some. My mind needed some adjustment while reading it. I haven't read a pitch black book in a very long while. Once, it was what sustained my reading fuel but now, I think I'm out of that phase. World's too depressing of a place for me to read about these stuffs.
Our guy here is a complete anti hero and villain to others. Our girl, on the other hand, had went through the worst thing any girl could go through. And their journey to get out from that worst was difficult and again, triggering. Fine, I'll write it out. Rape. So many graphic rape scenes. One, when she was 14. And more shitty stuff happened, in flashbacks, on current timeline. It's a pitch black 'romance', guys. What do you expect.
For me, I know what I like in my pitch black and it's either you make it extremely mind-fuck or make it satisfying enough with gore. And this one was just sad. It made me sad. :(

Broken needs Broken
Can't say enough amazing things about the Blaire World Series, Its been fabulous the latest in the series Evelina. Just a whole new broken. And I'm here to tell you Evelina isn't the only broken soul, for Luka to be that dark and evilish then no way he doesn't keep himself together with super glue.
Luka can see shards of light through the brokenness and he fights hard to stay within in his own darkness. Evelina is a tortured soul both in body and in spirit. Luka and Evelina's personalities feed off of each other. The danger is real and who's it come for but the light just gets that much more stubborn. Its a great standalone, but it also great how the stories tie in with each other at some point.
Some hard scenes to read if you have delicate senses. Various emotions push forth from both Luka and Evelina. Ally Vance was a new to me author and it was a delight in reading my first book from her. Enjoy

Evelina is an intriguing character...she is stolen, used and abused, and she should be broken, but somehow she remains resilient no matter what life throws at her...and Luka is both her downfall and her saviour but there can be no happy endings in the world they inhabit.
There are unexpected plot twists and emotional highs and lows in this dark and at times disquieting read, which I found completely riveting ..... I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.

This was a super dark, light on the romance, hold your breath type of book. This is the time I have read this author and I am really glad I took the chance on this series of dark romances. Another beautifully written Blaire World Series story. Action packed emotional tortured captivating Evelina's story had my heart racing with anger, frustrated by how Evelina was simply nothing more than a used toy for the dark sick pleasure of the wealthy underground. Yet somehow she still managed to keep the smallest ray of hope for over 4 years from allowing the total darkness around to consume her. Luka one of the hired men sent to kill all the women kept as slaves discovers that she escaped and he is sent to bring her back to the boss. Luka finds himself for the 1st time struggling against his orders, only to discover the allure of Evelina and how she somehow breaks through his darkness and give him the slightest light to his darkness, and then betrays her by dragging her back into the darkness again. Well written emotional tragic story about survival the darkness within this world

This book made me at all loss for words. I have struggled for the past 4 days with what to say in this review. All I could come up with was brilliant. I spent most of the book holding my breath waiting for the worst and the other half well doing the same. When I got to the end I wanted more. Not because the story was lacking or incomplete but because I loved it so much that I didn't wanted to ever stop reading it. I can't wait to get the other books in this series of books.

Evelina is a dark ish read about how she'll do anything to survive. She has to put up with the worst you can think of from the monsters in her life. The fear she feels is outstanding, and she has to deal with it. This book is good and it go with the whole Blaire World books and the Blaire series.

OMG WTF DID I JUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy HADES sweet baby Jesus I was blown away by this story. Ally brings me this world of darkness, pain, and torture. This is Evelina's life she lives day to day. Kidnapped at a young age she is used and abused and she sees no way out until one day she sees her chance and takes it.
She wants to see the sun so bad and when she can she takes her chance and she has Luka there to support her and help her find her way back to the sunlight. Where there will be no more abuse and torture there waiting for her but she can live a life filled with love and happiness.
You want dark and disturbing and suspenseful well look no further read this series because it is off the chain and will have you biting your nails like I was sitting at the edge of my seat praying she would escape and when she did I yelled at my kindle like a crazy woman!

Wasn't sure
I got this book because it was Blaire's world and a new book but for some reason I didn't like it as much as the others. Usually when the characters meet one of them is broken and the other trust to put them back together but this one was more let's break you even more. And it was more Stockholm syndrome then love in my opinion

Evelina was captured and trained from a young age to be a submissive sex slave. Evelina and Luka's story is dark, twisted, intense and action packed from the first page until the last. A well written story with unexpected twists make this a great read and a great addition to the Blaire's World series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Beautifully haunting. It’s the aftermath of Maksim’s demise and Luka is given orders by Tatiana to leave no trace and that includes the kidnapped girls. Only one girl Evelina escapes. Luka’s obsessed to retrieve the girl and kill her only he can’t kill her. Loads of action. Dual POV. Short story from Blaire’s World. Does end on a HEA.

Another amazingly good addition to the Blaire’s World Series that I couldn’t put down!! I’ve never read anything by Ally Vance before this, but after reading Evelina, I can honestly say it won’t be the last. I loved it.
I loved the play on light & dark between the two main characters. Luka was the perfect anti-hero in every way for me. Dark, cold & calculating, with just the right amount of nasty to suck you in, while Evelina was innocence and light with a steely determination, even if I did find her a little frustrating at times. Their relationship was intriguing & I loved watching it develop.
The story itself packed a nice punch for a novella. Fast paced, string characters, amazing twists that keep you glued to the screen. I loved the appearance of a certain Blair original who lived up to her bitch status, adding some series twisted moments to this fab read.

I love Ally Vance and her entry into Blaire's World. It was a very interesting entry and I like Evelina and her interior strength.
After escaping from Maksim's dungeon, Evelina tries to find a way to stay free. However, Luka isn't going to let that happen. He needs to catch her and clean up his mess.
I'm not entirely sure about how I feel about Luka. I totally disliked him sometimes, liked him sometimes, and other times, I was just confuzzled.
However, I know that I like Evelina. I think that she is stronger than anyone thinks that she is. She's survived so much, and to just survive everything shows that she's pretty dang strong. I really admire that in her.

I can't tell you how much I'm LOVING these Blaire's World novellas! Evelina by new-to-me author Ally Vance was no exception! It's a fast-paced, well-written page turner filled with all the delicious and dark twists and turns that I LOVE!!!
I loved that Evelina refused to let herself be COMPLETELY broken by the monsters that enslaved her! She's so strong and smart, never letting them steal her light! Luka THINKS he's one of them, the monsters, but Evelina somehow gets under his skin and into the heart he never believed he had!
This suspenseful roller coaster ride kept me engrossed and enthralled from start to finish! Highly recommended to those that love a dark, twisted romance!

Wow what a story it was non stop action from page 1 till the end. I absolutely love reading Ally's book's she has such a way of drawing you in feeling comfortable then wham this happens or that happens. This book had such an effect.
Evelina find's herself free from her captivity for just a moment but that's all about to change as she meets Luca who's been sent there to clean up a mess her master Maxim left behind. Luca takes one look at her and see's that there's something special about her just what it is he doesn't know but he'll soon find out because he wants her, but he has to bring her to his boss where he knows she won't survive that.
This is definitely a must read and just one of the stories in the Blaire's World series.

Ok call me crazy but for some reason I didn't find this story as dark as I was expecting from being one of Maksim captives. Evelina didn't sounded to me as broken as the other captives I have read of Blaire's World previous books. And Luka he was not to bad too but I think he needed more of that darkness that the other males had. But it was still a good read the action was good but like I said it didn't came out as to dark for me.
