I tried with this one, I did. I almost put it down a few pages in when some internalized misogyny showed up ("groups with mainly females could easily slip into bitchy rants"). I pushed past that to find that the bulk of the book was going to be the responses to a questionnaire sent out to women who ride motorcycles. These weren't going to be analyzed or woven into a narrative, just recapped in alphabetical order of the women's first names. I like personal stories, yes, so I read on, but gave up somewhere in the A's, as there'd been a couple more misogynistic statements and the repetitiveness of the same questions being answered over and over just got tedious. Another "not for me" book I'm putting on the abandoned shelf.
A fantastic book: inspirational, encouraging, empowering ! A must for female and male motorcycle riders. 140 women from over 38 countries share their passion "Riding" with them is emotional and heartwarming
