Encore: The Third Anthology of the Lake Writers

This collection contains poems, short stories, and essays was created by The Lake Writers group, an arm of The Smith Mountain Arts Council. The group has carried out its mission of furthering the art of writing in the three counties surrounding Smith Mountain Lake in VA since 2000. Since the founding of the group, its members have published more than 100 books. This anthology is the work of many of the members, and all proceeds go to the annual scholarship fund.

About the author

James Douglas Morrison was an American singer, poet, songwriter, writer, and film director. He is best known as the lead singer and lyricist of The Doors, and is widely considered to be one of the most charismatic and influential frontmen in rock music. He was also the author of several books of poetry and the director of a documentary and short film.
