Entrapped

A story that will have you hanging on every word, crying with despair and wanting to jump in your kindle to hug the main character, Brody.
His horrendous upbringing and the negative atmosphere that surrounds his life, is shocking and my heart bled for him. Catherine has become his drug of choice, him needing the calm that she brings whenever they are together.
So many secrets had me gripped, his love and feelings for those close, was endearing. The rage I felt for the characters, who should be caring and protecting him, was blinding. A fantastic follow on to Entitled and I can’t wait to read more!

Jesus.... poor Brody. So much pain, anger, sadness. How anyone can live through all of that - and the lies - I have no idea.
And that ending? Well I'm definitely going to have to read the next book now!
This book was pretty heavy and I had to put it down a few times to collect my thoughts before diving back in.

This is the second book in the Entangled Series from Carlie Yates. You need to read the first book Entitled to be up to date on everything that is going on. This book will have you reading form the first page to the last. I did not want to put it down and I wanted to wrap my arms around Brody and hug him so many times it isn't even funny. This book was a very emotional read for me. This book is deeper and darker than the first and is filled with a lot more twist and turns. It is about the love that Brody feels for Catherine but also about he monster that resides in his thanks to the things that have happened to him and he is terrified that he is actually going to turn into someone he doesn't want to be and drag Catherine down or put her in the middle of the dark madness. Get ready to shed some tears, want to hug Brody about a million times and go hunt down some people and hurt them. Your going to cry, I just don't see any way around it, and be equally as mad as you are so so I'm not sure if my tears were from sadness or anger.

Second in this series and wow. This one was even better than the first. This one is Brody's side of the story more to speak than Catherine's. This one picks up months after the first one ended. Brody and Catherine are happy in a relationship just dealing with their lives. But Brody is having his own little issues with his life. He doesn't know how to deal with what is going on in his head. He doesn't know how to handle what he learns about his brother. So much goes on in this storyline. But it is so well written. It instantly hooks you and has you gripped until the end wanting to know what is going to happen next with Brody and his past. Emotional, heart breaking, so many different feelings when reading this one. I could not put this one down. Carlie blew me away with Brody's story. I absolutely loved it. I was a little upset with the ending. It did feel like there is so much more to Brody and Catherine's story. I highly recommend this one. The whole series was amazing. A must read from Carlie. She has gained a fan with this series.

The dark secret is out and the love that Brody feels for Catherine feel hard. This story will take you on a deeper darker read and lots more twists and turns. This story will have you wanting to feel like you need to help with their anger and issues throughout this story. This is amazing read that will melt your heart and have you feeling the anger and the emotions throughout and wanting to jump in and fight to get things smooth. This is a very twists and turns and ups and downs. This is a must read story that will have your emotions up in the air and loving the Brody even more.

This is the second book in this series and you do need to read book one first. As this powerful story continues prepare yourself for more heart wrenching emotion, angst, drama and poignancy. This is not a book/series that is light, fun and easy to read. Brody's story is heartbreaking, raw and gripping. It will put your own emotions through the wringer as more details, secrets and twists are exposed. It will leave you waiting for book three, just so you are aware. I'm very interested in seeing where things go from here. This is my independent, impartial review.

This is the 2nd book in this phenomenal series and is a continuation of Brody and Catherine’s story. This story takes us on a darker road as Brody sets out to confront the demons which haunt him. This is a well written story which is emotional, raw, and gritty, with angst, drama, twists, secrets, which all lead to a powerful story which had me captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this gifted author, and I highly recommend her work.

What an emotional roller coaster ride into the mind of Brody and Catherine in this book they are put to the test . Will they be able to survive together or will they fall under all the emotional twists and turns they have to face?

Book 1 was Catherine's story and book 2 is Brodys story.
This isn't an easy read by all means. His story is heartbreaking and harrowing. The characters have gone through growth period between books 1 and 2 and it definitely shows.
I'm intrigued to read more in book 3 if and when it gets released.

WOW my heart breaks for Brody as his whole life is turned upside down and his only light is Catherine who has changed so much. This is very emotional and raw as he fights his demons it's not fair that he has so many obstacles thrown at him with all the twists and turns his life is a mess.I really love Brody and the writing is excellent as you can feel the pain and the decisions made.

this was book 2 and im not sure how i feel about reading this one. he is trying to deal with himself and his issues. she is his light after the dark tunnel. wil he continue on his way to hell or fight for his freedom? read to find out what happens.

This was Brody's story and it was completely heartbreaking but it was still a very amazing book. It was incredibly emotional and difficult to read at times but entirely worth it. Has so many ups & downs, twists & turns that I didn't want to put it down. I want more!!

Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off. Brody the male main characters goes through even more mental torture this time. I found myself yelling at the other characters because of how they all keep treating Brody. This was a great continuation of his story and it delves more into his past before he meets Catherine. You find out more about his twin Brian and what happened before and after he took his life. Brody has to learn to deal with his anger issues and the reason he has them. He realizes that he can not use Catherine as his security blanket. This was a page turner for me as was book 1 and I lost some sleep because I couldn't put it down. I look forward to reading book 3 as I am certain it will be a page turner too.

A great journey for Brody!! A few unexpected twists as usual that always keep it interesting. The characters keep developing and I am amazed at how all of the stories are connected. This storyline just keeps getting better and better the longer it goes.

I had a hard time not reading this book straight thru in one sitting. It continues the story from the first book and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
