Met the author at a River Rats gathering at the 2003 Reno Air Races and bought a signed copy of his book, never imagining what he had endured. Have reread the book several times. Agree with him on how the VN war would have turned out much differently had politicians let the military decide the first Arc Light mission.

Good first person account of B-52 Operations during 1960's. As a veteran I shared many of the author's observations.

Read of Heroes

The intensity and far reaching intent of their mission was of a magnitude previously unheard of. The narration of man’s deep sense of survival is unquestionably one for the ages. The quality and integrity of the author is without a doubt praise worthy.
