Mitch and Hope's love story!

This book has all the feels and twists and turns you could ever want in a brothers best friends romance guilt, secrecy, regret and anguish that turns into love. These two main characters Mitch and Hope have known each other most of their life and are perfect for each other. The story is well written and holds the readers attention from first to last page. Even though there is some angst and drama to get to their HEA it was well worth it for these two.

Nine years ago Hope gave her V card to her brothers best friend. He told her it never should have happened and she got upset and left. Mitch who was betrayed by his business partner and his fiance moved to the mountains and that is where he was living. They met again when her car broke down and he took her back to his cabin. They finally got back together and things really started to heat up. They had a LOT of Ups and Downs, but they did find the HEA they both were looking for.

This was okay. It was very drawn out and not much really happened. Skimmed most of the book and wow this book had a ton of errors. Imagine how many errors there actually are since I skimmed most of the book. The actual plot line wasn't bad though but "hero" is a bit of a stretch.

Nine years ago Hope gave her twin brother's best friend her virginity. Attending a graduation party they took a walk along the riverbank and she let her feelings towards Mitch known. Despite feeling the same way he immediately regrets betraying his friend by sleeping with his sister. They part on bad terms and head their separate ways.

Finally able to chase her dreams of designing her own clothing Hope is headed to the mountains for a month to wok on her business plan, sketches and samples. Until her reservation is cancelled and her car breaks down with no cell service. As luck with would have it Mitch drives by having moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains three years ago. Inviting her to stay in his new guest extension whilst her car is fixed etc.

It's clear that Hope still harbours bitter feelings about their time together nine years ago. However, they fall into a routine around the house, enjoying their time together. With Mitch helping her with different aspects of her new business. A storm draws them closer until they can't deny the undercurrent of attraction between them. Still feeling guilty about his friend Parker, Mitch and Hope agree to embark on a mountain fling whilst she is staying there.

They manage to navigate family interruptions to enjoy time together. With time running out, a split condom and misunderstandings it appears their fling might have lasting repercussions that neither thought would happen. Pulling on the heartstrings, tissues at the ready for this one.

Mitch Sloane was a friend of Hope Caldwell’s twin brother during college. Even then, he was different from the others. He was middle-class while they came from money. When he created his own tech company in his junior year, earning millions, he honored his parents’ wishes and finished his degree. Mitch was sexy handsome in a rugged way while her brother’s other friends were the clean-cut boyishly handsome type. Actually Mitch was her first teenage crush and she hadn’t gotten over him yet.

At the graduation party, one of the women who had dated Mitch and dumped him before he earned his millions, started flirting with him again, so Hope walked away. Mitch followed her to the kitchen and suggested they find a quiet place as she had mentioned. He asked about her plans now, and she said she would work for her dad to get experience. He knew that wasn’t her dream of being a designer. They went for a swim in the cold water, then laid on a blanket. Hope played with his chest and abs, running her fingers over him until he asked if she realized what she was doing. She was a virgin and had wanted him for so long. And she was curious. When he took her, she found everything she ever wanted – until he said Parker would kill him, it shouldn’t have happened, Parker was his best friend. She told him he had ruined what was a beautiful moment and very special to her, and she ran away from him to hide her pain.

For almost ten years, Hope worked for her father. She learned a great deal, but her dream had faded away. He told her she wouldn’t find a hotel with the big events, so he offered her his guest suite which would give her privacy. Needing the mountain freedom, she accepted his offer.

Holly and Mitch have never gotten over each other, although they are feeling awkward this close to each other. But this could be the chance for a new beginning. Will they open their hearts and talk about what happened between them? Will they find the truth? Or will they let what they walked away from wither and die?

This was a really good story. I liked how you get to know not only the main characters, but you get to know their families too. Yes, this is part of Her Hero series. You don't have to read Hating My Hero and Her Hero Boss, buy you may want to after reading this story. The characters are so realistic and full, the story has twists and turns and you see things from different perspectives.

Hope has had a crush on her twin brother's best friend since they were fifteen years old. On the night of their college graduation, they go to the river and she gives him her v-card. Right after he starts talking about how he feels guilty how he betrayed his best friend and how he shouldn't have done anything. She leaves heartbroken and tries to avoid him for the next 9 years. After working for her father after graduation and putting her dreams on hold, with her families downturn in finances, she now can pursue her dreams. She is going to a resort for one month to work on her business plan, do designs and research. When she gets to the resort, they don't have her reservation and they are booked for the next week. On her way back to town, her car breaks down and has no cell reception. Thankfully, someone stops to help. It had to be him!

Mitch has had a crush on his best friend's twin sister since he was fifteen. After the debacle on the night of their college graduation, he hasn't seen her for 9 years. Just before he was going to take his tech business public, he found his second hand man sleeping with his fiance. Betrayed by two of his closest people, he sold the business, and moved to the mountains. He couldn't trust anyone outside of his family. Two of his brothers have found the perfect women for them, but him and his oldest brother, Will, will remain bachelors, thank you very much. When he finds Hope's car broken down on the side of the road and no reservations anywhere, he offers her the use of his guest suite. He offers to help her in any way with getting her business off the ground, because he has always believed in her dreams. He still feels guilty about being with her before, and doesn't want his best friend to every find out about his feelings for Hope.

Hope and Mitch have been in love with each other since they were both fifteen years old. Only thing wrong is Mitch was Hope's brother Parker's best friend and boys have a rule about dating your best friends sister. When they are twenty one Mitch and Hope have a romantic tryst and he takes her V-card but then tells Hope that he shouldn't have done it because of her brother. This hurts Hope and she storms off and they don't talk to each other for nine years.
Hope and Parker's father's business is failing and Hope is now free to start her own fashion line and heads off to the Blue Ridge Mountains to spend a month retreat to draw her designs and set up her business plan. Her car breaks down in the mountains and Mitch saves her and takes her to his home to stay with him so she can continue on with her plans while her car is being repaired.
Mitch helps Hope by creating a computer program that will help her and also buys her a sewing machine so she can create her samples. They also come to an agreement to have a month fling with no strings attached and no word is to go to Parker. They break up at the end with both not telling the other that their feelings have changed and they have fallen in love with the other. Hope might even be pregnant.
A lot of misunderstandings and lack of communication causes heartbreak and appointments with lawyers.
I laughed and cried with the characters in this book. I loved the story and how it all unfolded with drama and romance. I couldn't put this book down till it was finished. A great read.

Second chance with your teenage crush...........Maybe???

Her Mountain Hero is a really fun and enjoyable read. This is the first time that I have read a book by Holly Jaymes so I was not sure what to expect, as you just never can tell. In the end I am glad that I did pick up this book and discovered a new author that I will be reading more of.
The story of Mitch and Hope was definitely an emotional roller coaster ride. There were all the lows and all the highs along with a number of twists and a few major dips in the story between these two. They have a history from when they grew up together, as he is her twin brother's best friend. But one night of their college graduation they get together and he takes her v-card. But he feels guilty that she is his best friends sister, even though he has had a crush on him since they were 15 years old, and says some things that hurt Hope so that they don't see or communicate with each other. It is now nine years later and they might have a second chance if they are able to work out their old feelings and hurts and also get out of their own ways. Mitch has some real issues after several betrayals in his past so he reacts to things happening which you just want to hit him upside the head about.
I enjoyed this engaging story and liked the way that the author writes and tells the story. It progresses at a good pace and the characters, both the main and supporting, are well developed and there is enough of a history given that you can picture them.

This book gave me everything I love in a great story! I laughed, cried, got angry and happy as the characters went through all of the emotions and trials that love brings. Mitch grew up with Parker and his twin sister Hope. He and Parker have been best friends since kindergarten and even though Mitch developed feelings for Hop when he was 15 he never acted on them. Except for the night after college graduation. Then he said something stupid and it all went horribly wrong. Nine years later, they encounter each other again when her car dies on the side of a mountain road. Mitch has been living up there alone after the sale of his business, the death of his father and the betrayal of his business partner and fiancee. He offers to let Hope stay with him while she gets her design business off the ground since the place she rented a room from never got her reservation. She agrees and soon they are picking up where they left off 9 years ago. But old heartaches and stubbornness cause the two to have some serious misunderstandings and neither will tell the other how they truly feel. When Hope ends up pregnant, things go from bad to worse when Mitch finds out from Parker before Hope can tell him. Thinking he's been fooled by a woman again, he goes back into defense mode in order to protect himself. After some time, the intervention of a few family members and a fainting spell, Mitch realizes that he can't live without Hope and will do anything to get her back and keep her.

Fantastic read loved it

What another brilliant book by Holly Jaymes Mitch a billionaire lives in the mountain after being hurt by his ex fiancé and his ex business partner he sold his business and stayed his heart protected on the mountain until Hope came back into his life after he took her v card 9 years ago. Hope after putting her dreams on
hold is now starting them up she has gone to the mountains for a four week retreat to concentrate on starting her business up drawing up business plans and sketching designs. The hotel she booked through a third party didn’t have her reservation or any room on her way into town her car breaks down there is also no phone signal to get help until a car drives past it turns out to be Mitch. Hope ends up staying at Mitch’s home whilst staying three she works on her business but her and Mitch sure still attracted to each other and decide to have a no strings attached relationship for the four weeks she is there. They both have feelings for each other as the weeks pass but neither admits to each other they end up going there separate ways except they has a mishap with a condom and Hope finds she is pregnant but hadn’t told Mitch yet. He founds out from Hope’s brother he is livid it how dare Hope keep this from him she tries to explain but he won’t listen instead he accuses her of doing this to get to his money. After a rocky start things come to ahead after Hope faints and Mitch realises what a fool he has been they end up telling each other how they feel and start to build a life for the three of them.

WOW! What can I say, I loved this book. I wish I could give it 10 stars. “Her Mountain Hero” is the third book in the series about the Sloan brothers. You don’t have to read the others to enjoy it, but quite honestly, you’re mad if you don’t. This book tells the story of Mitch and Hope. They have history, they’ve known each other for years, Holly’s twin brother is Mitch’s best friend and Mitch took Holly’s virginity several years ago and immediately botched any future relationship they might have had through guilt of sleeping with his best friend’s sister. Holly Jaymes gives us interesting characters who are real and often without a clue about how relationships work. They often misunderstand and misread situations and jump to some of the most surprising conclusions. I’ve read all of the books in this series and I find myself giggling at the antics of the Sloane brothers and feeling the frustrations of the women who happen to fall in love with them. I can’t wait for the last book to find out how Will, the most determined to stay a bachelor, meets his match. I have to give thanks to Holly Jaymes for brightening what can sometimes be my mundane days. BTW, I’ve also read the two previous series that she has written, Holly Jaymes has very quickly become one of my favourite authors.

This was truly an amazing book and I loved every page but now that it has ended my a little sad. Hope has loved Mitch since she was fifteen but never acted on it because he was her brother Parker’s best friend. One night down by the river after they graduated from college Hope and Parker where having a party but Hope wasn’t really interested in the party but in Mitch and after taking a walk together Hope gives her virginity to Mitch and it’s the most amazing time for them both but after Mitch regrets betraying his best friend Parker and a few careless words to Hope and her heart is broken by the man she loves, fast forward 9 yrs and they meet by accident again after he saves her on the side of the road and offers her a place to stay where she can get her clothing line and business up and running but begin that close to one another and the chemistry reaches boiling point they give in to temptation and agree to be with one another for the time she is there and it works out great in the beginning but when hearts get involved it becomes a problem. How does it all turn out for them both and how do there families react and can they get past there issues and have there HEA. Read this great book you won’t be disappointed.

Another Sloane brother bitten by the love bug

As the story progresses a new beginning is attempted, old wounds are opened, and speaking the truth is the only way to heal them both. Holly Jaymes’ Her Mountain Hero is a lovely brother’s best friend romance where another Sloane brother bitten by the love bug. So far all of those Sloane boys have been forced to deal with cupid and his plans by putting road blocks in their own way, but their women have helped to clear them. This brother’s best friend read made that even more true. I can only imagine that Ms. Jaymes will have to drag Will kicking and screaming to join his brothers in their happiness. I also wouldn’t mind if she has something in store for Parker down the road as well

She leaves heartbroken and doesn't see or speak to him again for years. Then when she breaks down on the road she was stranded until he pulls up and rescues her. Finally free of her father's business she was coming out to a resort to brainstorm about what she wanted to do for her fashion design business. When she has nowhere to go Mitch offers his place to her. Sparks reignite between them and they end up back in bed together. They agreed it would only last while she was there however she hadn't counted on becoming pregnant. Will Mitch think she did it to trap him? What will her brother think? Can they be together?

This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover

This was a wonderful romance and the story line flowed smooth throughout the length of the book and each of the characters were well developed. Mitch had been betrayed in a relationship in the past, so he was afraid to trust anyone again. Plus, he could not get past the bro code having a relationship with one of your friend's sister, which left him in a real situation as he had always had feelings for his best friend's twin sister Hope. As a result anytime they were together alone they would end up hurting each other as they cared deeply for each other, but would not admit it to the other. I could not put the book down once I started it, as I couldn't wait to see how they were going to solve the latest problem they had created. You will need to read the book to see how Mitch and Hope got their HEA

NICE READ

When best friends fall for each other but don't tell each other until its almost to late. Hope has had feelings for her brothers best friend Mitch for a long time. Hope wants to go on a quiet retreat to get her business off the ground only to have all her plans change when she doesn't have reservations at the lodge where she wants to stay, then her car breaks down. She stranded on side of road when a truck driving on the same road just happens to be for long time friend AKA the love of her life, Mitch. Little did she know he lived out there. He is able to help her with lodging & her broken down car. They actually help each other out. She helps him over come being in love & he helps her with business. They fall in love & live happily ever after...

This is a wonderful well-written second chance at love story, Mitch has had feelings for his best friends sister since he first noticed girls but he refused to brake to bro code. But one night after college graduation Mitch and Holly give into their feelings but things don't go as wanted and she stays away from her love for years. Now, after years after a painful betrayal to Mitch, Holly gets stranded on the road and Mitch stops to help. Both of them can't forget their past, but not realizing it can only hurt their future.

This book is packed with sizzling chemistry between Mitch and Holly, there is plenty of drama and emotion.

Wow!! The synopsis of this book doesn't give the book justice. This is the story of Mitch and Hope. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. You will laugh, cry, want to scream at Mitch and Hope to tell each other how they feel about the other one. You will find yourself rooting for them to get it together. Each character goes through their own personal turmoil and has to figure out how to deal with it. Great book, great read, and great, relatable characters.
P. S. I agree with what Hope said at the end of the book. Also I would love to read a book about Will.

Chance meeting leads to second chance at love. Mitch and Hope have known each other all their lives, he is her brother’s best friend. They gave into their desire once and he felt guilt and told her it should never have happened. They did not see or speak until he found her on a deserted road. Friendship renewed and so did their physical desires. Mitch has same feelings as before but his desire and feelings for Hope are stronger. He will do anything he can to see her happy. Both are afraid to share their feelings. Full of love, passion, misunderstandings, betrayal, and has HEA. Believe part of series.

Another great book in this series of the Sloane brothers.

Mitch, as a heart the size of Texas, and cares deeply for all of those around him. So I to betray his best friends trust caused him deep guilt. And when he was betrayed by his fiancee, his world came crashing down that he retreated to the Mountains.

Holly, finally at a point in her life she can do what she is passionate about, crosses path with the man she cared around 9 years ago only to find him shattered.

With the love, laughter and caring of their families are they able to heal.

This is book three of her accidental hero series. I have never understood why friends find it bad to fall in love in love with one of the siblings, sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. Personally I would think the brother or sister would be glad of the friend falling in love with a sibling because you would know the person, but thats my opinion, on the other hand...it can make a great storyline and thats is this book all over...I laughed and cried during this book while these 2 tried so hard to hide their true feelings from eachother, and Hopes brother. Follow them as they discover that sometimes its better to listen to your heart

Hope and Mitch reconnect and rediscover each other. They are a sweet couple and it’s fun watching Mitch’s bothers tell him how he feels before he realizes it. Am loving the Sloane family, shame never got to read about the other two brother’s story.

Mitch and Hope’s story had me glued from start to finish as it was captivating, emotional, passionate, hilarious and heart breaking.

My favourite statement in the book.

“Leave it to a lawyer to get their grubby hands on something so sacred as childbirth,” my father quipped.

Looking forward to reading about Will’s turn.

This is the third book to the Sloane brothers and Mitch did not disappoint. There was so much irony in this story it is heart wrenching for Mitch and Hope to be so close at times and yet can’t grasp that final trust with each other. Like how the brothers always support one another, but still have to be that sibling torment as well.
