But who will venture there, and who will make it out alive?
Currently in Lýon, O’Asia and Prince Zale are oblivious to the dragonfish attack on the hounds. Until the waters arrive carrying a terrifying scream that sends Odessa and Royalty into panic.
Will O’Asia get to them before any lives are lost, and more importantly, what will the consequences of it be going forward? So far, Calder appears immune to all Odessa’s attempts to build their relationship, but with loyalties being laid by others and O’Asia unwilling to give up, his walls may be just a little too hard to keep up.
And the ultimate question this time around is, amongst the secrets, revelations, and the heartbreaks, can the waters be perfect again?

The Finale was a very nice wrap up of LeeSha McCoy's wonderful Perfect Waters: African Mermaid trilogy. I m looking forward to reading more books by this author. Well done!
I prolonged finishing this book because I didn’t want it to end. This was well written and again I could clearly pictured the underwater world as if I was there. This author is an amazing story teller and this series is highly recommended.
This book had me standing and rocking side to side! I felt Asia angst, doubt and guilt when the plans were being discussed and decisions were being made. I didn’t know what she was going to do and I totally empathized with Zale in feeling like something was being withheld from him. When it all went down I was so nervous. This book was well written from the characters development to the plot, to all of the emotions. It had me questioning everything! What was said to Asia I’m the Odessa forest? What did she say to the hounds? Why is Zale being powered up? What’s the deal with these witches? Where in the hell is her sister? So much more. Leesha addressed all of my questions and I am more than satisfied with the outcome! Wonderful series!
If I could have given this series a hundred Stars I would have. I truly enjoyed reading this series due to the fact that it was consistent what is characters and storyline. It was written Beautifully. I love that the author included so much educational material about the ocean. I really wish this series could be turned into a television series not the movie because that what ended too soon. I'm looking forward to raining more by this author as well as the new additions to the series. African mermaids I've been having good dreams every night maybe in my next life I'll be one.
This is my first time reading this author and my first African American Mermaid 🧜♀️ series. I loved the premise, the characters and the world building. However I did find myself skimming through some of the pages. I feel like most of the story could have been told in less words. The only real complaint I have is the author switching back and forth between British and English language. I also read a couple of reviews speaking on the amount of profanity and the fact that the merms were cursing 😑. This series had no more profanity than any other average book or tv show. It appeared to be your average dialogue. Nothing was over the top or over done with it. I have decided if I want to continue with books 4 & 5, the contaminated waters series.
I want to give it 5 stars, I really do. But the absolute hatred I have towards "bae" makes it not quite there for me. Also the whole men-are-all-bigger-than-women is a tiny ick. And that I'm pretty sure the whole 3 books takes place over a month (until the 6 month time jump).
Otherwise. One of my top favourite series this year. It feels so much more real with the emotions, the angst, the swearing etc. I genuinely enjoyed reading these books a lot. And will read more from this author.
What can I say about this author. I give this rating a 5 star because this book is very exciting it's full of drama and full of suspense I would recommend this book to anyone. I recommend all of her books and that you start at the beginning. She does not disappoint and she makes you want to read more. I cried and laughed just like I knew these ppl in her book. She does an awesome job of pulling you in. Can't wait for more of her books!
This was a very well written series that I really enjoyed. The perfect reading getaway from other genres with the same storyline. This series will take on a journey filled with surprise revelations, jealousy, conflict, romance, peace and love. You can't help but want the best for these characters and after all they've been through, happiness and new beginnings is what makes living in the perfect waters worth it.
This series was so unexpectedly wonderful and amazing, fascinating and riveting. The under water world of the merms was fantastic. All of the characters so well developed and vital to the story. Asia and Zale had so much to overcome to free the dark waters from the sea witches. And I’ve never read a story that made me cry so many times both from happiness and sadness. Written with so much feeling, so beautifully. So much love for this series!
This book was all that and more. I was so glad that O'Asia was able to get through to the hounds. They really showed their loyalty. But I did cry when I thought the witches was going to kill O'Asia but the hounds came through in the end. Can't wait for book 4. I highly recommend this book. But be sure to read books 1 and 2.🔥🔥🔥
Words can not describe how much I love this book! I have been searching high and low for a while for something good to read and will keep my unrest long enough to finish until the end. I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS MASTERPIECE OF A SERIES💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞 A MUST READ FORSURE
The use of ‘Bae’ is throwing me off. Like you tried to make it fit in a sentence it wasn’t meant to. Also Zale’s ex is brought up but never mentioned again I think I would have liked to see what kind of interaction Asia had with her. Zale had one with Trent.
The way these merms love one another is the love that we all hope to find. I was totally blown away and excited when Chelle and Harbor were able to spend time together. And those hounds gave me life, they totally put me in the mind of Max and Kyle from Living Single.
This was a awesome series!!! I so glad things turned out for Asia and Zale. I loved that people finally give Calder and Scylla a chance. They turned out to be awesome. Really would like more on Habor and Wade. Excellent series!!!
Yes I'm so happy that Asia and Zale got there happy ending, at first I thought you was taking her away. I'm glad the hounds are respected in the water and are friends. I cant wait til the spin off
I'm glad that Zale and O'Asia got their happy ending. I enjoyed LeeSha's way of getting the main characters through their tough times. The surprises that occur made it hard to put the book down.
I haven't read a lot of African american paranormal romance books, but this one was captivating. The characters were so lifelike, and the plot was connected so well. I cannot wait to see what's next.
This was an emotional rollercoaster of a read but I loved every moment of it. She started out with so much turmoil but ended with so much peace. I would gladly recommend this series to anyone to read.
The storyline is completely engaging! But then I realized that since I started reading these books, I've become excited by mermaid sex! Now that's brilliant! Never even occurred to me before and now 3 books in I'm anxiously anticipating their release!
So glad the merms were able to take back the waters. Sad that O'Asia had to endure all that she did but it all worked out. Also glad the last know enemy, for now has been taken care of!
This mermaid series is wonderful. I’m glad you created the story. I don’t want to give any spoilers away, so you must read it for yourself. The diamonds💕💕💕💕
