Addison Cooper dates...a lot. The problem? Her whole dating life is a series of first dates that never lead to more. She’s starting to think she may never find someone who will accept her as she is. With no one special taking up her free time, she agrees to help her brother get a mentorship program off the ground. What she doesn’t expect is having to work alongside the cop who always seems to be there when she’s at her worst.
As a dedicated police officer, Jackson Reed plays by the rules. Always. Even off the job. His number one rule—no relationships—has never been tough to follow...until now. Lately, his friend Ethan’s younger sister has slowly been creeping under his skin. Addison’s recklessness and her sassy, sexy mouth drive him insane. For the first time in his life, he’s tempted to throw caution to the wind—no matter the cost.
Is their wild, one-of-a-kind chemistry enough to base a relationship on, or will they both end up alone in the end?

I'm a sucker for books that flip the script on well-loved tropes so I was pretty intrigued by the premise for Tease Me. Addison is a reckless, sassy, free spirit and Jackson is the straight laced cop. I wouldn't say it's a total inversion of the "bad boy/good girl" trope, but it's pretty close! While Addison is hopeful to find her own happily-ever-after, a string of bad first dates has left her doubting her chances. Jackson is the total opposite - his own upbringing has left him with a chip on his shoulder about relationships. Her brothers mentorship program for local kids and Jackson's leave of absence from the force after an injury put them in close proximity. While Jackson has seen her at her worst on more than one occasion, it ends up endearing her to him more than anything. Still, he isn't eager to partake in a traditional relationship. They keep it casual at first but fire this hot can't be kept subdued for long. Eventually the flame burns hot and bright and they have to decide if the flame is one they want to fan brighter or snuff out completely. I loved seeing them reach that impasse and having an honest, straightforward conversation about it. No one acts hasty based on assumptions - insecurities and doubts aren't washed away but they give each other the gift of honesty. Tease Me is a fun, flirty read that will grab your attention from the first page and keep you alternating between swooning and sighing for a Jackson of your own - and a family/friend group as awesome as this one!
I received an early copy of this book for an honest review. I am in-between stars on this one. I'll get to why in a bit, but first..
Jackson && Addison.. Whew, opposites indeed.
These two don't get along very well at the beginning. Jackson is older, and is a police officer. He feels that Addison is reckless and immature. Addison is a teacher, and sometimes Jackson makes her feel like an idiot. There is a lot of clashing at the beginning of this book, until they start working a mentorship program together. Jackson starts seeing a different side to Addison that is quite surprising to him. Jackson notices that she's extremely organized, and apparently he finds this to be hawwwttt sauce because he starts checking her out.
This book begins as a slowwww burrrrn but these two slowly start getting along better. After an accident leaves Jackson needing some tender, lovin' care, Addison is ready to lend her assistance. I like that these two start developing a friendship; it added to the buildup in a big way.
Addison is a bold one though, gotta say, that chickity has no limits and I dig it! My kinda girl.
I liked this book, I thought it had a good storyline and I enjoyed reading about this couple progression. Jackson got on my nerves a little, and some things he did was confusing to me. But, his thoughts were super cute, and I loved how he felt about Addison.
"This woman has all of my engines revving."
He can't help his attraction for Addison and I love that.
This was my first time with this author and I definitely enjoyed the writing style. The story flowed very well and I felt this couples emotions. I love when that happens.
I loved this book that I read in one sitting. Jackson and Addison's story is a great addition to the Dare to Dream series. Addison is asked to help mentor a youth program by her brother Ethan. Jackson is a police office and he is also asked to help with the youth. The attraction between Addison and Jackson is intense but neither of them want to admit because of the fact that Addison is Ethan's little sister and who is Jackson's best friend. Will these to give into temptation?? Can Jackson and Addison give there relationship a chance? You will have to read this book to see what happens with Jackson and Addison.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Learning The Meaning Of Love: By Korkoi - This is an interesting story, that will have your head spinning with the push and pull between Jackson and Addison. It would takes them navigating through obstacles and seeking help from the support system around them, to resolve their rollercoaster relationship. The story not only deals with the romance between Jackson and Addison, but also the way they came together to mentor young children who needed adult guidance and support in their lives. This book needs to be on your TBR list immediately.
I received a copy of this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Most of Bailey’s books have a different path. This one added a few things that I really enjoyed. I loved seeing a woman take a more dominant role in the process. As we all struggle to stay home more and not be around others, it was incredibly nice to get an early copy of this book to escape in. Jackson was written incredibly well. Seeing him in a vulnerable position and having to accept help was incredibly realistic and it brought an interesting twist. This was a quick read. I can’t wait for my next escape.
This is my first book by Amanda and I am so glad she reached out!
I love a good brothers best friend. Especially the where brothers best friend is close enough to the family to see the kid sister in some of the worst views possible that family only seems to have. Basically what we have going on here.
Jackson has seen Addison at some of her worsts. They have a, in my opinion, hilarious love hate relationship at the beginning. Bickering in a way where if you were a bystander you’d just know it could lead to somewhere. I’m a sucker for underlying slow burn tensions.
However, once this fire was lit, it was flaming hot.
There were a few times Jackson kinda peeved me. I get it, men arnt perfect, but he made up for it with his thoughts on Addison.
Addison is a strong kick-A modern women. I love her strengths and weaknesses because they are so relatable.
An enjoyable read, and a steamy one too!
I can not wait to read what else Amanda has written!
I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned! "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
I loved that Addison kind of took charge of the situation. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it. It took her a bit to realize that she liked Jackson, and I loved that neither of them "liked" each other to begin with. I can't wait until the next one, this one was entertaining, and a great book to snuggle up with!!! Grab some wine, a snack and enjoy.
I have read every book in this series so far as well as the previous series by the same author. I am in love with every character she has given us. These books are all page turners and very engaging. I can’t wait for more!
I was given a free review copy of this book at my request in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed Addison and Jackson, it was an easy, fast-paced read, the characters are adorable and very straightforward, which I really like. The book concentrates primarily on the couple, unlike previous books, and though I missed a little to keep up with everyone else's lives in this series, the storyline was more than enough to engage me. I hope the next book is as entertaining as this one, as, especially in these convoluted times, it provided a much-needed escape from real life.
I received a copy of this book by ARC and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.
I definitely enjoyed Amanda Bailey's latest addition to the Dare to Dream series. I had found the previous books a little predictable, it was refreshing to see that this book wasn't. Addison brings out the fun in Jackson and he keeps her on the straight and narrow (so to speak), together they share a sweet but still sexy love that took a few hurdles to get through. I especially love how Addison is unconventional and out there in the way she behaves, it was great that she wasn't portrayed as a goody goody school teacher :)
I am eagerly awaiting Dylan and Violets love story ;)
This was a really sweet, semi-angsty read that I totally needed right now! If you’re not feeling the whole dark, super emotional vibe right now, this is a little bit of love and humor to lighten your reading mood.
I have a huge soft spot for the whole man in uniform thing, so Jackson, the strait-laced cop, was right up my alley. He was a total good guy with just enough of a past to leave him somewhat broken and unavailable to get emotionally involved with anyone...
Enter Addison! She’s a sassy school teacher who’s not afraid to push Jackson’s buttons and drag him kicking and screaming out of his comfort zone. They start out with a dislike for each other making this fall slightly in the enemies to lovers category, but I think a big part of their animosity towards each other simply stemmed from not really knowing the other. They have opposite personalities, but prove to bring to the table what the other lacks making for a sweet, but steamy romance!
*I was kindly provided and ARC of this book for my honest opinion* Side note: The author, Amanda Bailey, reached out to me about reviewing this book and she couldn’t have been nicer!!! She not only writes great stories, but is a super sweet person as well!
I was given a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left my unbiased review.
I have read and really enjoyed the previous books in this series and was eager to read this book. I was not disappointed!
This is the story of Addison, a teacher, and Jackson, a police officer, who have known each other for many years, although they weren't particularly friends. Jackson was her older brother's best friend and considered Addison immature, though growing up he enjoyed goading her to be better at sports.
As part of her job at her brother's fitness center, Addison joins Jackson as teen mentors . As they spend more time together and share experiences with their mentees, their attraction grows ever stronger. Jackson suffers an injury as a result of a professional interaction with Addison, so she feels compelled to care for him. Needless to say, feelings grow very quickly, and some sizzling sexy times ensue!
The usual setbacks and misunderstandings follow that lead to the HEA we all love. I really appreciated the inner thoughts from both characters that provided a better understanding of their actions. I found "Tease Me" to be well written and I read the book in one sitting. Amanda Bailey is now on my automatic buy list!
This beautifully written love story is based on Jackson a police officer and Addison a maths teacher. Two people that have a fear of relationships. One always having her heart broken and other fear of losing a person he loves. From the get go these two don’t like each other but are forced to work together on a mentor program. When they realize they work well together to support the kids they are supporting, attractions start. When an accident happens Addison helps Jackson heal in more ways. It was so hard to read knowing how much they belonged together, they were meant to heal each other. If you’re looking for sweet, funny, steamy this is the book for you. This was the first book I read of Amanda’s and I’m so glad I had this opportunity because it won’t be my last. The ending made me wanting more. I received this as an arc to give an honest opinion and I would gladly recommend it to everyone.
Tease Me By Amanda Bailey Main Characters: Addison and Jackson I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author. 4 1/2 out of 5 stars This book is part 4 of the Dare to Dream series. An m/f contemporary romance with a HEA ending. Opposites do attract. Addison is a teacher and Jackson is a strait-laced cop. He thinks she is reckless, hence the number of times he has had to pull her over. She is upfront strong and speaks her piece. These two do not get along in the beginning. Then they start to work together in a mentorship program. This book has a good plot and the characters are well defined and likable. This is only the 2nd book I have read by this author and I would love to read more. Highly recommend.
Hi Amanda! Totally loved the book much more than "Kiss me". I am so in love with your Addison, who comes off as a loud, quirky, sassy, independent woman though is a softy at her with lots of insecurities, can't help but adore her Even, Jackson's character was well etched with a vulnerable man behind a tough personality. Their hidden nature might have led to the spark in their chemistry which was mind blowing. To add, I noticed that the sentences were less complex in this book, so the flow of the story was smooth. Loved it. Great job, Looking forward to review your next story of "Dylan and Violet.". All the best for the release.
Jackson, oh beautiful sweet Jackson. You are a breath of fresh air to read. This was an absolutely amazing book! It was so refreshing to read two characters where the drama in their relationship was due to a hardship in the characters life vs drama that is brought into some love stories because their needs to be conflict. Jackson and Addison are perfect and honest and raw. Addison is funny and direct. I love that about her. She is a take charge character which was fun to read. This book not only gave me a really good cry (thank you Amanda Bailey), but it gave me a book boyfriend to drool over with Jackson. This is a must read!!!
This is the 4th book in this fascinating series and is Addison and Jackson’s story. Jackson is a police officer who is a stickler for the rules and he is under the impression that Addison is immature and reckless, and they are links petrol and a match to begin with that is until events have him changing his mind. No spoilers: this is a must read you will not be disappointed. This is a well written story with engaging characters and plot, and I was intrigued throughout this slow burn romance story. I highly recommend this talented authors’ work for all.
Addison is a teacher who is looking for her HEA after a series of disastrous first dates. Jackson is a police officer is her polar opposite and also happens to be her brother's best friend and he used to torment her in the past. Jackson is struggling to deal with Addison's reckless nature and now she is pushing all his buttons. Soon their mutual dislike changes to a hot feelings for each other and results in a steamy relationship. Absolutely brilliant.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I highly recommend this story and the other books in the "Dare to Dream" series, along with the "Flirting with Forever" series, for a happy read with enough swoon, spice, and feel-good feelings! Always an HEA, and usually she adds a little mystery / light tension for intrigue!
Addison and Jackson were characters to fall in love with. 😍
This is the 10th book by Amanda Bailey I've read and she doesn't disappoint! Tease Me is currently my favorite. The entire time I was reading it I kept thinking how this could so be one of those tv romance movies I love (with a lot more heat!) Speaking of heat, it is totally intensified in this novel. I had to fan myself a few times haha. I absolutely can not wait to read the next book in the series.

Oh my goodness these two... they had me laughing, crying, ugly crying, and laughing until I cried. The amount of good they do and the way they help one another is so inspiring! And the pain they feel & carry with them made my heart actually hurt. But the love... oh man the love is totally worth it!!!
Who can resist a man in uniform!! The cop and the school teacher do not get on. Or is all their energy put into fighting to avoid what they really want? These two had some series chemistry. Loved the story, loved the banter, loved the slowish burn. Loved it!!!!
This book grabbed me up and sucked me in hard !!! If you have ever wondered if opposites attract you HAVE to read this book. I just cant wait till the next book in this series gets here !!!
