Also writing as SFL Jefferies.

I’m an author who loves to write stories that dig into the darker side of life. Some sexy, some spooky, some not.

I was dead chuffed when my novel, The Joy of Comfort Eating, won the 2016 ROSA Imbali Award for excellence in romance writing, and in 2011, my paranormal novella, The Hunt, won the Mills & Boon Voice of Africa competition. I mostly loved that the name ‘Delaney Delacouer’ ended up in print. Because a name like that deserves to be a dashing, romantic hero.

I’m back to writing paranormal YA novels which was where I started out - funny how life goes.

My home’s in Johannesburg, South Africa and, right now, I wouldn’t want it anywhere else.

Follow me on TikTok and Insta for my latest news, ramblings and really bad drawings. If you need to get in touch for inquiries, etc, drop me a mail!

Happy reading!
