these get better and better...
followers of Denise Fitzpatrick's 'September 'series will be absolutely delighted with this latest release-her third.
denise has the magic touch, transporting readers on a riveting journey which neatly blends the best of 'romantic' and' suspense' genres.
Maryanne Rowlands is the lead character, and her passionate involvement with decective Ian Anderson is reignited when maryanne's daughter is kidnapped, and Anderson takes charge of the investigation.

Wow, Book 3 in the September Series by Denise Fitzpatrick certainly surpasses any expectations. September Smokescreen is the story of Maryanne Rowland’s, her daughter Sarah and their close friends. This is an excellent well written novel with twists and turns covering romance, murder, kidnapping, mystery and everything in between. This book is right up there as a favourite of Denise’s writings. Congratulations Denise, I am really looking forward to what is to come in Book 4 of the September Series.

This is the third in Denise Fitzpatrick's series of romantic novels, spiced with crime, mystery and mayhem. They feature a group of feisty women friends from the author's home town of Tauranga, New Zealand and their menfolk. If you think that Tauranga sounds like a peaceful back wood, think again! In my opinion, this is the best book to date; Denise has nailed the characters and we care about them. Romantic novels are a first for me, but I'm hooked.

Denise draws you in with an exciting first few pages. Then she paints a picture of Maryanne, her daughter and her friends. She entertains you with the details of their everyday lives, slowly building up your relationship with the characters.
The last third of the book the pace ramps up with the disappearance of Maryanne's daughter. You have your ideas on who the villain is/are and you will be keen to have it revealed to you and Maryanne. Great read.

“September Smokescreen”, the third book in the “September” series written by Denise Fitzpatrick, had me drawn, once again, into the mystery, romance, murder and suspense that was portrayed in the first two novels in this series. This time Maryanne and her daughter are caught up in a fast-moving dramatic sequence of events that Denise has excelled in describing in terrifying detail. A great read. I am eagerly awaiting book four!

I read this book in three days, it was so action packed and fast paced it was hard to put down!
Looking forward to reading the next installment in the lives of Tracey, Maryanne and families.

Emotions run high as a small playground incident escalates through the community in small town New Zealand. Once again, this prolific author draws the reader into mystery, intrigue and drama. Carefully introduced reference to past relationships and events tie the story into the “September” series without disturbing the fast-moving plot. Romance and murder all in one compelling read.

Denise has not disappointed us!! What a great read as the third book in her September series grips you from the start. The intrigue keeps you hook throughout book with twist and turns as Maryanne’s peaceful life is turn upside down. I’ll say no more as it is a must read and I’m more than sure you will love as I did. Roll on book four....

September Smokescreen is another great read from Denise Fitzpatrick. Never a dull moment! Loved her 1st books in this series and this one certainly lived up to them. Highly recommended for a good read.

I've had a few late nights recently thanks to September Smokescreen ... so hard to put down! Interesting characters and a great plot. Definitely recommend!
