O livro estava na mesa de cabeceira do meu marido e pronto para devorar. Foi num instantinho, ele nem deu por isso. Nevada recebe a missão de resgatar uma estrela de Hollywood que ficou retida no México, e não corre mal esta mistura entre os cowboys e o início da era do cinema.

This is very similar with the Undertaker series but in a different set in time, and in this case, instead of an undertaker, you have someone that does these dirty jobs for some big shot in Hollywood.
Not an amazing plot but entertaining enough.
Really good illustrations. Very classic. Some Tarantino vibes.
Had a great time overall.

I'm not into Westerns but was positively surprised by this "modern" western.
It's pretty, pretty, pretttt-ay goood.
It's about a rough private investigator/bounty hunter who's ordered by a Hollywood film production to return a star actor who's gone lost in a booze-cruise in Mexico.
The drawing style is fairly realistic, reminding me of Franco-Belgian milestone Blueberry which in Europe at least is famous among comic aficionados.
The story is also unique, featuring eccentric characters and an interesting mix between old Wild West tropes and the early beginnings of Hollywood/early 20th century North America.

This is a good one!!
Set in a not so far wild west nor the modern west, but somewhere in the middle, we see Nevada who takes up job in Hollywood, from the producers to track and retrieve run away actors to save the production!
This issue follows Nevada trying to track a runaway actor who by chance ends up imprisoned by a Mexican Don for trying to seduce his daughter!
Nevada teams up with some of his past friends to break through the Don's fort and kidnap the actor and bring him back to Hollywood!!

De beaux dessins mais un rythme assez lent. Un bon western, qui ne nous offre pas de surprises particulières. L'esthétique sauve un scénario qui souffre de quelques faiblesses, malgré des bonnes idées et des références historiques bienvenues.
Une grande aventure, mais j'ai été laissé sur le côté de la route dans un désert brulant.
