Humanid: Transition

Rate this book
The Professor and Dr. Cynthia Chang stand together on the edge of eternity. They’re considering whether to transition into Humanids, a new trans-human life form, developed by an ultra-secret government scientific project team. All either of them knows are their own human lives, and both are about to change forever. The prospect of an unlimited Humanid life span eagerly invites them to step into the future of humankind. Unlimited learning, an enhanced life form, outer space exploration, and adventure draw the two on together. Yet how do the Professor and Dr. Chang resolve the spiritual questions of a man-made eternal life? And there are unexpected dangers, both before the Humanid transition and afterward too. A hidden technocracy exists unseen inside the shadows of the federal government, with good and evil factions struggling for power. Do they know who is right or wrong? Who do they trust if the individual in charge is unknown to them? This is just the beginning of an adventure of a lifetime – even a long one.

This novel was very entertaining and the story line grabbed me quickly. The character development is well done and the plot intriguing. I eagerly await the next volume and the resolution of the cliffhanger
