So cheesy, predictable, downright ridiculous plot. Every cliche you can think it’s in this book.

Nova is book 3 in The Kings of Retribution MC, Louisiana series and a really enjoyable read to me. I will start by saying I loved Nova, a former manwhore who finds his woman and is all in is always a plus for me. Add in the fact that he is a phenomenal dad and I was swooning the whole time. Promise was also a really enjoyable character she's sweet and smart. She's nothing that Nova would go looking for but everything he needs. I really liked her and I appreciated the fact that there was no gaming playing. Now for all those who dislike Insta everything well this one is filled with it so be in the mood. Also I have to add that Piper is such a wonderful young woman and I hope she gets a book someday. She is going to make a great leading lady for some yummy male hopefully Kiwi?

Nova was the third book in the Kings of Retribution MC - Louisiana by Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alverez.
Cain “Casanova - Nova” LeBlanc was a patched member of the MC. He was also a single father to seventeen year old Piper and the twin brother to Riggs, the MC President. He has been the fun player, excelling in one night stands with no ties. Until Promise.
Promise Bailey was a defense attorney and a good one. She was stone cold in the court room, but a softie in life for those she loved. Her father died in the military before she was born and her mother remarried but died when she was a teenager. Her step family became her family - but wasn’t much of a family. Once her mom died, she didn’t experience true love.
Promise had just had one of the worst days of her life and she decided to go out for a girl’s night with her besties. She met Nova and had an instant connection. He was the perfect one night stand. Except Nova wasn’t going to give up that easily.
Nova and Promise’s paths crossed again and the foundation for the storyline was built. I loved Nova. I loved Promise. And I loved Piper (Nova’s daughter). It was a fast and intriguing read with multiple plots running simultaneously but all coming full circle in the end.
True to form, the authors utilized the entire MC family while developing the saga. No telling who is next but possibly Kiwi and Piper. Although, I would love to see Jackson and Teagan have their own stories as well. Either way, bring it on!

Mindblowing. Nova is, by far, Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez's book with the biggest and most perfectly crafted elements of surprise. These are masterfully ingrained in an attention-grabbing storytelling lead by heartfelt characters.
After having read all of Crystal and Sandy's books, I knew they were going to deliver an impeccable story. I was sure Nova was going to be good. I just didn't know it was going to be this epic. Because let's be honest, what did we know about the Enforcer of The Kings of Retribution MC, Lousiana chapter?
We meet Cain "Nova" LeBlanc in Riggs , the first book of this spin-off series. He is Riggs' twin, and, for the past seventeen years, he has been raising alone his daughter Piper. He is fiercely protective and has no known love interest. Nova is notorious for his one-night stands, so the possibility of him falling in love? I mean, his road name is short for Casanova!
In the book, we finally get to know him. He is funny and smooth and will stop at nothing to protect those he cares about. He is super talented, yet ruthless when he has to. He didn't shy away from his responsibilities when his ex left him with baby Piper. And while he might not have known what he wanted to do with his life, he sure as hell made a name for himself. Nova is full of flaws, but, at the same time, he is perfect. A big and scary biker who learns to braid hair just to please his daughter? Swoon!
Promise Bailey is the character that you, nor Nova, will not see coming. The introduction of a brand new character was a brilliant move by Sandy and Crystal because it opened a world of possibilities. The element of surprise at its finest! Promise is a defense attorney with an impeccable record and has worked in some of the toughest cases in the state of Louisiana. She is fierce, yet she craves love and acceptance. Faith will take her right through the doors of the Twisted Throttle. The mutual attraction between Nova and her is instant. Their chemistry is hot, hot, hot!
A lot happens in this book. But it flows so seamlessly that suddenly I was reading the end. Nova is phenomenal, and its characters are now some of my favorites. And being the greedy reader that I am, I want more! More of these two characters, more of The Kings, more of anything Crystal and Sandy will create. These authors outdid themselves once more. They also left a promising trail of breadcrumbs that makes me excited for what will come.
I won't stop repeating myself when I say that they have no limits and they have mastered their craft. Their storytelling is on point, emotional, and their character building is amazing. They always manage to include current and real topics that need to be talked about and discussed. Chapeau ladies, chapeau.

Love, love, love The Kings of Retribution MC series, they’re amazing books. I’ve been waiting patiently...sort of...for Nova’s book and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Nova in previous books is a single Dad, a great Dad, twin brother to Riggs and a good looking devil always on the lookout for his next one night stand...he has a very unflattering reputation and doesn’t care. Promise is a tough, talented lawyer, who loves her job but hates the types of people she has to defend, but does it to try and make her uncaring stepfather accept her. She has a rocky relationship with her stepfather, no relationship whatsoever with her evil stepsister and nothing but love for her stepbrother...twisted family to say the least. Nova and Promise meet at a low point in her life and it’s a rollercoaster ride to the end of the book! Such a great story, thrilling, exciting and oh so sexy. We get reacquainted with the Kings’ family... always a plus! Love the father/daughter dynamic with Nova and Piper, they are the cutest! I also hope that I’m seeing a budding relationship with Piper and a certain bodyguard biker! Exceptional book and perfect addition to an already fantastic series! Great job, as usual, ladies...can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

Oh so good!!! Looking at the author's list of books on Goodreads I notice she has more of this series to come and I can't wait!!
Doesn't matter how long you have known someone but instead listen to your heart and when it tells you this person in front of you is your future you listen and you listen good. This is what happens when Nova, the VP, meets Promise. Yes, that's her name...kinda silly to me but whatever.
Promise is out celebrating her break up from her fiancee when she meets Nova. They both plan for a one night stand with no names swapped. Once she leaves he goes to find her and make her his.
This book is not just about the couple getting together but how they handle when Piper, Nova's daughter almost gets raped by a different clubs member. About a bad Mafia man who wants what is not his to take. About what Promise has had to feel growing up alone and never feeling like she is good enough. Mainly about how the club pulls together for family.

Hell yeah!
This book was such a good addition to the series.
I’m not gonna lie. I wasn’t as excited about reading Nova’s book as I was the others’. I’m just not a big fan of the ‘playboy’.
But I’m super glad I read it anyway.
Nova knows exactly what he wants the second his eyes meet Promise’s.
And thankfully we don’t get any OW drama at all. Thank you very much writing duo. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when there’s scenes with other people besides the MCs. And with the way Nova had his harem all over town, there was definitely the possibility.
But there wasn’t even much cause for jealousy.
I am so grateful for that. It really cemented my love of the book.

Im thinking Casanova should now be renamed as Supernova!! Cos when he goes.. he goes with a big freaking bang!! I think this just might be one of my favourite books in the whole series.. and if not one of my most favourite characters there - he does give Gabriel a run for his money!!
This book is super hot, uber sexy and just got all my girly bits tingling!
I love Promise. She is smart, she is sexy, she is intelligent and she is strong. She is not whiny, manipulative or a bitch... unlike her stepsister.

I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.
Nova is such a contradiction. He is this rough and tough biker who also does his daughters hair. He is the absolute sweetest. He will do absolutely anything to protect his family. I really loved the character of promise for him. She is an absolutely amazing lady who showed Nova and his beautiful daughter Piper what love is.
This is such an amazing book about love and family. Promise didn't really have a family and I loved as soon as Nova fell for Promise that he told her she had family now.
This book had all of the elements of an amazing book. If you haven't read anything by these ladies get started you won't be disappointed

I can't even begin to express how fantastic Nova and Promise's story is. It pulled me in from start to finish Nova falls hard for his girl just how it should be. The chemistry jumps off the page with heat. I literally couldn't put it down I read it in a day. This books has all the feels and all the action we've come to expect from the Kings. This is without a doubt a must read series these men and their woman are phenomenal.

Touching story
I enjoyed the story between Nova and his daughter more, but the romance part was good too. It’s instant love for the guy and she is quickly behind him. Lots of blood and guts for sure and alpha male vengeance. Good read hope there is another.

A SuperNova is a powerful and luminous stellar explosion. Yep... That pretty much sums up this newest addition to The Kings from the dynamic sister writing team of Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez. Nova has met and surpassed all my expectations. Cain (Nova) LeBlanc is foremost a first class Alpha male who happens to also be a great father to Piper, brother of blood and the cut, grandson to Pop and all around protector of his family. We also find out he is an artist with an artist's soul which was another beautiful aspect of this complex man. In past books he has also been know as a player( nice word for man**ore). All that changes when he meets Promise Bailey. Their first meeting is unforgettable for both of them and also for the readers of this book. Promise is smart and loving with a touch of reticent. I liked everything about Promise. She was strong enough not to let others marginalize her in her personal or professional life. She had been looking all her life for a family that would love and accept her and she found a great one. Cain and Promise's relationship was a joy to watch unfold. It had a mature, substantial feel right from the beginning. Both antagonist were well written and added depth to this story in totally different ways. This is one of those rare books that stays with you even after you are done reading. I will undoubtedly read this book again in the future. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC for my honest review and it was my pleasure to read this book. Enjoy!!!!

With a name like Nova, I knew seeing him fall would be good. I liked the instant chemistry that Nova and Promise had and how they both went with it. Thought it was funny that Promise did the sneaking out thing and how it made Nova feel, funnier still was how Promise tried to pull away and be all professional. I was glad that didn't stick. Once things changed between them, both of them were all in. I liked Promise kept questioning things and Nova kept talking her down, asking why, he was very open with what he felt and why, which in turn made her trust her own feelings.
I especially loved how Promise was with Piper. Piper and Nova had such a great relationship, that you didn't want anyone to come between them, but to add something to the family and that is what happened.
While there was some drama, Nova and the guys were able to take care of business and make sure everyone was safe. It made the ending to this one all the sweeter.

Cain "Nova" LeBlanc never plans to get attached to a woman, his only focus is his club and his daughter. When he ends up seeing Promise Bailey and she approaches him for a no names one night stand, he is on board. However Nova quickly realizes one night is not enough and fate intervenes bringing them together again. With trouble swirling Nova plans on keeping Promise safely by his side.
This was better then what I expected. Sometimes with one night stand books I have a hard time getting into them but I really enjoyed this one. Was anxious to read Nova's story and really liked Promise, she was an intriguing character. Great story.

Hot Dauumm 🔥 ladies you have truly outdone yourselves with this jewel of a story. With each story I fall more in love with these incredible characters. Your writing draws a reader into a world that feels real and we want to be a part of their community.
Hopefully you have read the other books because then you can see the dynamics between all the members of the MC,their families and community. If not trust me do it now!
Okay with that being said lets get back to Nova he's the Enforcer for the MC single father to an incredible seventeen year old daughter Piper, twin brother to Riggs,grandson to Pop, loyal, devoted to family both blood and MC. He is an incredible artist, tuff as nails alpha biker when needed but will braid his daughters hair in a moments notice. Nova short for Casanova actual name Cain Leblanc is yes a ladies man. He tells them up front that he doesn't do relationships but he can give them a night to remember but nothing more. That was until a beautiful brunette walked into the clubs bar Twisted Throttle and got his heart humming.
Promise Bailey a brilliant defense attorney who loves being a lawyer but hates who she represents is at her breaking point. She works for her stepfather who has made her life unbearable even though all she has ever wanted was to be loved and accepted. Her evil stepsister is the bane of her existence causing havoc at every turn only to be the apple of her daddy's eye. Her only saving grace is her stepbrother who made her life bearable after her mothers death. After the worst possible betrayal she is devastated so her bestfriends convince her to go and have fun. They all go to a bar called Twisted Throttle after a few drinks she gets brave and decides to do something she has never done before approach a sexy tall bearded man and offer to buy him a drink. Whew lord have mercy be still my heart ❤. Lets just say Nova and Promise's journey was one heck of a ride. It wasn't easy there was danger lurking in the shadows just waiting to jump at the opportunity to destroy anyone in the way. I loved the connection, love,devotion between Cain and Piper. Then how Promise and Piper came together as if they were meant to be part of each others lives all along.
What an incredible storyline with characters that feel like family and allow you to lose yourself to where you wish you could actually be a part of their lives.

Promise Bailey a brilliant defense attorney who loves being a lawyer but hates who she represents is at her breaking point. She works for her stepfather who has made her life unbearable even though all she has ever wanted was to be loved and accepted. Her evil stepsister is the bane of her existence causing havoc at every turn only to be the apple of her daddy's eye. Her only saving grace is her stepbrother who made her life bearable after her mothers death. After the worst possible betrayal she is devastated so her bestfriends convince her to go and have fun. They all go to a bar called Twisted Throttle after a few drinks she gets brave and decides to do something she has never done before approach a sexy tall bearded man and offer to buy him a drink. Whew lord have mercy be still my heart ❤. Lets just say Nova and Promise's journey was one heck of a ride. It wasn't easy there was danger lurking in the shadows just waiting to jump at the opportunity to destroy anyone in the way. I loved the connection, love,devotion between Cain and Piper. Then how Promise and Piper came together as if they were meant to be part of each others lives all along.
What an incredible storyline with characters that feel like family and allow you to lose yourself to where you wish you could actually be a part of their lives.

It was perfect to have all the questions that I have regarding Nova answered but new questions about Piper aroused...
I need to know more about her... Or about Kiwi... Or...
It was impossible to stop reading because things were happening and the need to know more was super intense.
The hot stuff in this book is wild and will leave you breathless... Just saying...

Ok where to begin with this review... We get absolutely everything with Nova. We get the lover, loyal friend, father, and brother, and let's not forget the hot AF alpha man who is passionate about his woman!!!! I adored Promise she was sweet, loyal, and when she lets her claws out she is not afraid to protect those she cares for. When the two of them meet for the first time we get to see the off the charts chemistry that sparks between the two of them.
Now this book is not all mushy there is a lot that happens between the pages of this book. We get a couple different storylines that interconnect within it. There is action, mystery, and a little suspense thrown into it as well.
I love getting caught up all the members of the club. This writing duo has a knack of making sure to always make sure everyone makes an appearance. Watching Piper interact with her dad and learning everything about how he was a single dad raising a daughter. Just trust me you need Nova and Promise in your life.

It is hard for me to put into words just how amazing this book is. Nova is a devoted father to Piper, twin brother to Riggs, and brother to the Kings members. He is content with being a father and brother until he meets Promise. Promise is out of a relationship and just looking for one night to forget and have fun. The chemistry between Nova and Promise is hot and sexy. Their story is emotional, witty and action packed. Crystal and Sandy have once again hit a home run with this book. If you are looking for a series that features hot and sexy alpha men and women who can turn them into big teddy bears, then the Kings of Retribution is highly recommended. If I was ever in need of rescuing, I would definitely want one of these guys coming to my rescue. I am so looking forward to and impatiently waiting for the next installment!!

Well, I know I say this with every book these ladies write, but this is by far THE best one yet. I just fell in love with Promise & Nova both individually & together as a couple. I love how Nova was so direct, he saw his woman & claimed her. And Promise, (once you find out the reason behind her name...loved that), she really blossoms to an old lady like no problem. The chemistry between them, off the charts!!
The action, the passion between these two was burning off the pages. Great meeting up with the entire family too. Love seeing old characters & getting a peak of their lives. You ladies never disappoint, I love everything you guys put out. Can’t wait for more. Please be Piper & Kiwi!!!!

I am in love! Nova is my new favorite! He is tough as nails, a manly badass and the most amazing single father! He, along with his brothers, have raised Piper into a great woman! Promise, is a successful woman who speaks her mind and is not afraid to go after what she wants. I love that she didn't doubt this relationship. So many times authors write the woman as so wishy washy with the relationship and holding back etc. In this book, and series, it's perfect, just enough and not too much where you find yourself annoyed. This is 100% recommended read as is all the books these two write! Cant wait for more!!!

Phenomenal!! The sisters have done it yet again!! And then some!! How many times did I get tears in my eyes? How many times did I laugh? There was not a page in this book that didnt have something going on! Nova, Promise and Piper...I absolutely fell in love with their sweet family!
Another extremely well written, action- of all types- packed! It's really to difficult to take your time to read this. The need to devour it is strong! And the end is so satisfying yet you always want more!

Where to begin? This book is absolutely amazing! These ladies are freaking amazing! NOVA and Promise are now my favorite of the Sandy and Crystal books! Hands down the best! To be able to take a real life situation and shed light on it is something these two ladies know how to do! Love Love love this book! It's a must read for sure!

Holy wow was nova and promises story wild and amazing and so dang emotional. I laughed and cried and may have yelled a tiny bit near the end 😳. But I have to say this is even better then I imagined Novas story was going to be. This was well written and such a great addition to this series and I and so so excited for more. I recommend this book/series 100%

Loved it!! I really liked the father/daughter relationship between Nova and Piper and how strong Promise was! I thought when I started reading the first book from these amazing authors that nothing could beat it but every single one just gets better and better! Thank you for the ARC. I can’t wait for more!! This book was amazing. The Authors just keep getting better with each book. I loved everything about the relationship between Nova and Promise. He definitely lived up to his name. I also loved the relationship between Nova and his daughter. This book is a definite must read!

Loved this book. Promise hates her job and step father and sister. Feeling as if she is losing herself with each case she knows a change is needed. Nova is passionate in protecting those he loves. Fate leads these two together, Nova shows how passionate he is when both his girls are in danger.
