The basket gets another head! After cutting her thumb off in a true bad-ass moment, June cuts off Hank’s head and adds it to her basket (which must be getting a little heavy and rather gross at this point). I like the different perspectives and attitudes the talking heads have as they explain the events of what happened. It was clear and entertaining.
Liam is so close to being rescued, but unfortunately, Hank used his code word with his dad, and he was there when June tried to save Liam. I like June’s character. She’s hardcore and is full of surprises. I’m curious how this series will end; it’s done a fantastic job of continuing to have a great 1980s horror feel to it. I can’t help but wonder if there is still more to Liam that the reader doesn’t necessarily know. Maybe we will find out in the next issue?
