Isolated from the world. Locked up because I’m a danger to others and to myself. Who would’ve thought I’d end up in the Karmic Asylum? They throw in here the supernaturals who’ve gone mad or rogue, they pump them full of drugs and potions, and wait for them to wither away. This won’t happen to me, because I have friends in high places. My Grim Reaper cousin, Mila, will come to my rescue. All I have to do is wait.

When Mila doesn’t show up, I start losing hope. Then, the tree men who I thought were my enemies get me out of this nightmarish prison, and I realize I owe them my sanity. Davien, the incubus – he will consume my soul. Seth, the sphinx – he’s worshipped me all this time; how didn’t I see it? Adrian, the Unseelie warrior… He wants something from me, something I’m not sure I can give him. He begs me to save the most important woman in his life. And no, that’s not me…

Cara Wylde loves to write about strong, feisty women and their hot Alphas who will do anything to make them happy. Her books are filled with romance and just a dash of mystery, suspense, and that eerie atmosphere she fell in love with reading too many gothic novels. With a master's degree in Comparative Literature, she can't help but play with tropes and themes from various genres, trying to come up with fresh perspectives on the paranormal characters her readers love so much. Vampires, shape-shifters, demons, witches... Cara will always make sure they get their own twists.

When she's not writing, Cara is reading, planning her next story, or daydreaming. Her idea of pure heaven is a day filled with nothing but her laptop, a huge coffee pot, relaxing music, and a new, exciting project.

Holy smokes it's getting good. I hate the cut offs but it soo good I can't help but wait for the next book in the series.
In this book you won't belive what happens to Yolanda in this book. If you thought the first book was bad@ss this one will hit another one outta the park. When Yolanda wakes up she not in her normal dorm, she's somewhere else and can't place why she feels funny... Feeling fuzzy, sleepy and confused isn't what she is used too. Can she ever shake this feeling and get on with her life? Let alone the mission she has to complete to help the world..

Took me a little bit to get back into the story. Where is Yolanda and what is happening to her?
Magic, drama, action and a lot of sizzle in this tale.
Yolanda has worked out her calling and what her mission in life is. Is it being a grim reaper or something so much more?
So many twists and turns in this story, you'll want to dive right in.

ONE DELIGHTFULLY INTENSE TREAT!!!
Holy hotness! Cara doesn't disappoint and never hesitates to bring it when she comes and she comes out kicking ass and throwing punches, with this riveting joy ride, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Unbelievable events and baffling circumstances, showcase the formidable trials and thrilling tribulations, stumbling through the intense twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways they never saw coming. Shattering the lines and crushing boundaries, limitations are amplified and scattered, riding the current and breaking waves, kicking this gem into overdrive, slamming it into a frenzy with far-reaching results. Carrying the load and bearing the burden, delivering one action packed, hard hitting, nerve-racking, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, page flipping bombshell, catapulting this baby to life splendidly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such intensity, drawing you deeper until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities, individual traits and thrilling diversity, transforming into genuine charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline explode. Remarkable job Cara, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Yolanda comes back to herself only to realize that she is in the Karmic Asylum, the place where the depraved of the supernatural world are sent. Even after she realizes how long she has already been locked up in that place, Yolanda isn't too worried, she knows her cousin Mila will rescue her when she finds that she is there, but, Mila doesn't show. It's three men from Grim Reaper Academy who rescue her. Davien and Seth, incubus and sphinx, along with Adrian, an Unseelie warrior, professor and her lover, who will arrange for her release from the asylum.

Fascinating, and compelling characters that engage in witty, and sometimes humorous dialog. I love them! Yolanda's determination to rid the world of The Great Old Ones, and hopefully save her cousin, get her into trouble, and plenty of unexpected and surprising twists in the plot made it hard for me to put this book down. Fantastic book, I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Holy moly!!

I liked this book much better than the first in the series... you get to find out sooooo much more and she finally actually starts to have a relationship with the other guys.

The book starts shortly after the 1st book ended ... and Yolanda wakes up in a supernatural mental institution where they just drug their patients to keep them weak. When she finally gets out, she discovers information to help finally kill the Great Old Ones after having a very near death experience in heaven.

While searching for so the different things they need, a couple of interesting things happen... one that I can't say without giving away a big secret!! But, as things go with Yolanda, trouble always follows her.
While at a field trip to hell, she's searching for a demon horn, and gets booby trapped in a grave. After finally being freed, more trouble comes her way....

I can't wait for the next book!!! I am so excited to see what happens next!!!

I recieved an ARC for my honest review.

Yolanda has her mission. What Yolanda tried to do didn’t work and Yig tried to draw her in. She was rescued by her men but she went crazy and was institutionalized for six months. Kept on drugs that kept her unaware of her surroundings and unable to use her powers. But Adrian get her released and she finds out how to banish the Great Old Ones. But she will need a lot of help, and she will need to travel back to the universe of the Great Old Ones and there she meets someone who will be close to her and who can help her. But it will take a year before she can banish the Great Old Ones and in that time they will try to stop her. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

Yolanda finally becomes aware that she is locked away within the Karmic Asylum, where insane or rogue supernaturals are placed to isolate them until they die. At first, Yolanda is not overly worried, confident that Mila Morningstar will fix this and get her out. But that doesn’t happen and she is surprised when rescue comes from Grim Reaper Academy through the incubus, Davien; the sphinx, Seth; and an Unseelie warrior, Adrian, who will intervene. Still determined to rid the world of The Great Old Ones, Yolanda will continue to get into trouble as always.

This is a wonderful continuation from Book 1 and will become one of your new favorites. Grab your copy and enjoy the well-written story that captures the reader’s attention from the first page to the last.

The second book in this series is fantastic. I always love catching up with characters, especially ones that I have come to like as much as I have these. The story line flows well from the first book and the author doesn't scrimp on the intensity of the emotion and angst. Yolanda finds herself in a bad situation and is convinced her cousin will come for her but when that doesn't happen the disappointment almost makes her give up hope but help does come, just from a quarter she never expected. But just because she has been saved from Karmic Asylum doesn't mean life is going to get any easier. Cara Wylde has written a book that will keep you glued to the pages and wanting more.

Year Two: Rebels: A Reverse Harem Bully Romance (Grim Reaper Academy Legacies Book 2)

Yoli is locked up in Karmic Asylum, where the depraved of the supernatural world are sent. Even after she realizes how long she has already been locked up in that place, Yolanda isn't too worried, she knows her cousin Mila or her aunt Katie will rescue her when she finds that she is there, but, Mila doesn't come to her rescue. But Corrie helps her, with help from her PE teacher. Davien and Seth, incubus and sphinx, along with Adrian, an Unseelie warrior, professor and her lover, who will arrange for her release from the asylum. So much going on definitely recommend this series…

*Spoiler Alert*
It took me a little while to to work out why Yolanda (FMC) was where she was at the beginning of this book. When i did there are just so many plot twists and turns i felt like i needed to write it all down in case i missed anything out. Vindictive Ex's, guy problems (which make for plenty of steamy scenarios with Adrian, Davien and Seth) Demons, Angels and one saucy pixie - Corri (shes one of my favourite characters from this series and the one before) This series is just knockout. Its a totally great read

When I first started I was unsure if I missed something then it all fell into place taking me on a Wylde ride. Yoli is unsure of her place at the academy, or more of her place in the world. Her world is a constant chaos with tons of loops , twists, and turns. With devastation, determination, strength, and passion she finds her purpose in life. With three men in the situation of uncertainty, it surely doesn’t lack in the steam department. It stinks that it comes to an abrupt hault leaving you hungry for more. I can’t wait to see where this goes next!

Yolanda cant understand why she is in the Karmic Asylum - she just knows she has to get out!
She succeeds, with help from Davien, Seth and Adrian. Now she has to figure out how to beat the Ancient Ones and confine them back into their own realm, to stop the sacrifices. Can she succeed? Will she be able to help Adrian's daughter? Cant wait to read the next book!

This is the 2nd book in the Grim Reaper Academy Series and the first book must be read prior to reading this one. I loved the first book and I loved this one even more. We got to know the characters so much more and the author keeps your interest so well that I found myself getting lost in the pages. I can't wait until the next book in the series is out!

This is the second book in the serie and sadly the last.
The story starts with a complicated situation in with Yolanda is trapped in a asylum for danger people. And nobody seams interested in getting her out. So how will she escape and get rid of the monsters that tried to kill her?
You have to read to find out, but it will be surprising. As usual, Cara never leaves anything out and all the details are precious.
I wish there were more!

What a wild ride.

Yoli really did it now. Dream jumping on and on trying to get to the Old Ones dimension earns her not only 3 lovers but also losing herself and ending up in an Asylum. Wylde proves she has a wild imagination with this one. You have to read it to believe it. It's amazing.
